I received the catalog in the mail and was impressed with the styles, colors and look of what Carbon2Cobalt had to offer. I found a couple items for myself and one item for my wife. I kept looking at a coat but it was pricy. Finally talking to my wife she suggested I check the reviews. The reviews were not too good and so I backed off the pricy coat. I ended up ordering a hat for the wife and a shirt for me just to see how it would go. After ordering I got an email confirmation on my order. Less than a week later my order arrived via USPS 3 day shipping. 3 day shipping doesn't really happen where we live in Hawaii.
So the moment of truth arrives. Inside the mailing bag was the individually wrapped items, order form, return address label and instructions in the event of needing to return. My wife is pleased with her hat. Quality, color, fit and feel of the material. My shirt is also as expected, correct size and fit, right colors and appears well made. Looks good and feels soft to the touch. I'm actually very pleased.
After completing this review I do plan and pulling the trigger and ordering the coat. I'm confident it's going to be right. Standby for review part two.
One last thing I found no discount anywhere. Not military, first responder, AAA... nada, zippy so don't waste your time. Still shame on Carbon2Cobalt. You guys need to rethink that. On the plus side there is free shipping if you blow more that $100. So, there you have it. More to come.
I read the reviews after I placed my order. I got real nervous then. Received my order within 2 days and the shirt was exactly as it looked in the catalogue. Will definitely buy again.
Poor quality for prices charged. Pictures in catalogue are beautiful, unfortunately the items are very disappointing. Items are pricey, I agree with many of the prior reviews.
I have ordered several items for my husband. I do agree with others after reading their reviews that size is an issue. I ordered a pair of shoes for my husband that fit perfectly but ordered another pair that didn't fit at all. Recently ordered a beautiful charcoal jacket but though we ordered an XL, it was way too small and had to send it back the same day to re-order the XXL which we hope fits. In trying to contact their customer service today, I called this morning and the repeated message states someone will be right with you, thank you for your patience, after 10 minutes I had to hang up as I was at work. I called again this afternoon and the same thing though the message said if you press #1, someone will call you back. Since I am at work, that wasn't an option. I finally sent them a message to *******@carbon2cobalt.com as we were trying to find out when they would resent the replacement jacket. For men, I would suggest ordering a size up. Some of the clothing comes from different countries and their sizes vary.
Scam sub standard materials... NOT anywhere close to what was shown in their fancy fake catalogue. Don't waste your time and money on this low rate junk. Read the other reviews
Ordered a Christmas gift on the morning of 14 December. Website promises quick delivery. Nothing could be further from the truth. They didn't even acknowledge the order until the 16th in an email to me. They didn't attempt to ship it until the 20th. UPS had no idea when they were even getting the package despite the fact that the label was created at UPS. 10 Telephone calls to the company with no results. Finally got a callback only to be told exactly what I already knew; that the label was created, that is being shipped and would arrive after Xmas. No acknowledgment at all that the thing will arrive on 28 December after the person that I'm supposed to be giving to won't be here to get it, I won't be home for the week after Xmas into Jan 3. Oh, I was told to have a neighbor take it in! I will literally need to ship this across the Atlantic. So I'll be donating it to a church when I get back in January, assuming it's still on my steps. If you try to return it you have to pay to return things with these guys. Never again
I ordered 4 items online for a Christmas gift approx date Nov 24th for my son who is Airforce and stationed in the United Kingdom. I started checking on the item on Dec 15th, 2020 and the supervisor told me the package is probably lost and she would send another order out but they only had 1 item of the 4 items in stock. I checked the USPS tracking label and the information I received

Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item
OXNARD, CA ******* ----THIS is where they ship from
I would read into this that the order was never shipped and they were waiting for items to come in. My understanding was everything was in stock when I ordered. I am beyond disappointed and feel Carbon2Coblat was not more transparent when I made the original order. My son has no family in the UK and wanted to at least send him some gifts. It's now too late to do anything... THANKS CARBON 2 COBALT... THIS TRULY SUCKS! SB
I have bought quite a few shirts from Carbon to Colbalt, while they are not the quality of Filson, they are not as expensive either. I have had no issues and enjoy the clothing I have purchased.
Bought a jacket from them. It didn't fit. I returned it immediately. It's now been three weeks and no refund despite numerous polite requests for it. THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE!
Received vest as gift a few weeks ago. Order S*******. Difficult to zip. Not like L.L. Bean metal Zippers.
I have ordered several items from C2C with no issues in quality or shipping. A couple items are on back order (remix blazer & Timberline sweater) and should be shipped in next couple weeks. So far I have ordered a hoodie "restless" shirt jac (which may just be my current favorite clothing item I own), a watch cap for my wife, a green "majestic plaid" button down shirt, a "9 yards" pull-over hoodie, and a canvas ball cap. I also ordered a pullover fleece sent to a friend in Germany. All of the garments I have received so far appear to be excellent quality, good stitching and material, and look great IMO, but I've only owned them about 1 month so far, so I cannot really speak to durability yet. I will have to contact my friend in Germany to see what he thinks of the fleece cuz he just got it this week. I am surprised by the number of poor reviews, but so far I am very pleased and am planning to order more clothing items for warmer months and vaca in FL. I also had no problems with the free shipping (orders over $100). Is it pricey? Yeah, but so far it seems worth it to me. I have attached a pic since I'm wearing the ball cap and green plaid shirt.
I ordered a sweater on December 9th from this awful company. I called Federal Express and was told this company ships the cheapest way possible. It is on delivery for December 27th. Federal Express told me the package now has to go the United States Postal Center for delivery on the 27th. The package is on track for the way the order was shipped. This company to least to say it very expensive. TRUST ME STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I SENT A PACKAGE TO PARIS, FRANCE AND IT ARRIVED IN 1 WEEK. I can't even get to speak to a person and what good is going to do any way.
Carbon2 colbalt shirts has a generous size for men and well made. The colors of the shirts are very different and good looking. You will stand out in a crowd of people.
Shirt received has sleeves of different length and the placket was crooked. Contacted them and I had to send them pictures of me wearing it and then another set with a measuring tape showing the sleeve length differences. Finally they agreed to take it back but I HAD TO PAY SHIPPING! So then finally caved and said they were sending me a paid label. Yeah great, except when I go to mail it I had to pay! They then give me the go round about receiving the shirt. Finally they offer me a free shirt.
Oh wait that one is out of stock. Okay... how about this other one. Nope out of stock. Finally after a total of 16 emails from start to finish they just give me a gift card. Funny thing is, the gift card amount, however they came up with it, is like 13 bucks less than the shirt. It's like they charged me for the shipping label that wasn't actually prepaid.
So I find something I don't reallt want just to drain the gift card and be done with them. Shirt arrives and the material so thin it looks stupid when you wear it. Maybe if they spent a little more to have their stuff made in a western country with some standards and spent less of photography for their fancy website the clothes might be somewhat worth their ungodly over priced rates.
Avoid avoid avoid.
They Bold Face RIPPED US OFF!
I can't believe the complete incompetence or outright dishonesty from this company!
We returned an expensive shirt for exchange to a smaller size... in their own return packaging, never heard from them. I finally called, they claimed no record of the return at first, THEN she said she found it as I persisted for about 45 full minutes. Okay, at this point I gave the benefit of the doubt, stupid me... and proceeded with the initial exchange... NOTHING. After a few weeks of waiting, I called again, to be informed that the item was no longer available. So... I picked something of lesser value and was informed that the new shirt would be shipped immediately and the difference refunded... NOTHING! After a third call they now claim of having no record of anything from us though we have it all in our credit card file that they can't seem to find yet again.
I don't say this lightly, as I've never written a review before but... BEWARE!
CARBON2COBALT is a RIPPOFF COMPANY!.

They take over 30 days for a refund. Meanwhile they're using your money. Sent return on Jan 5 as if Feb 4 still no refund.
Expensive cool looking clothes that fall apart after a few washings. Nonexistent customer service. If I could give them zero stars I would.
Bad shipping info, implied items were in stock and deliverable by Christmas, then in email indicated item would not ship until April.
Company must be same people that ran Territory Ahead (also from CA). High-priced, low-quality crap that doesn't last and doesn't look ANYTHING like it does in catalog or on website.
For the money, I expected a much higher quality product. Pics in the catalog are very deceptive. You can buy better shirts for $19 at Costco.
