Car and Truck Remotes

Key and fob came quickly but getting someone to program the fob is another story. Calling the auto key locksmiths for a 2018 Buick Regal Tour X, did not inspire any return calls. I ended up buying another key and the programming from Ace hardware, who would not program anyone else's key fob. Same key and fob as what I bought from the dealer, but there are two steps to the process and the second one is out of the company's control.

I ordered an extra key fob for my 2018 Jeep Wrangler. I still have to take it to the locksmith to get the key stem cut and fob programmed, but it looks just like my factory fob, other than not having the Jeep wording printed on back. Pricing was very good compared to others online.

Five stars in all areas. Product was shipped quickly. I received email updates during shipping. Product arrived on schedule and was properly packaged. I watched the convenient set up video on the website and was up and running within moments.

Warning... purchased replacement Fob on March 5th and scheduled appointment with dealership to program remote. Dealership was not able to program it and rightfully charged me the programming fee. Dealership stated it appears to be a used key and once used it's no longer usable. Company did not stand by their guarantee of it being programmable. Received the keys a couple of days after the estimated date. Not a huge deal, processing took as long as can be expected. Keys matched the description, a little more worn than I hoped, but they are refurbished and it was to be expected. The keys worked after being programmed by a locksmith, so I would consider it a successful purchase. I received an order confirmation and access to order updates. Giving a 4 Star because of the delivery date over promise and the amount of wear on the keys (only asthetic). Im a satisfied and happy customer and would repeat my business with Car and truck remotes.

When the remote went bad for my 2011 HHR I expected to pay a hefty sum to get a replacement with the very real possibility of needing to go a dealer or locksmith to get the new one programmed. While searching on line I came across a reference to buying only the inside rubber piece with three built in buttons, and for $9.95 figured I could afford to take the chance. The part came today in the mail and I pried open the remote and put the replacement part in, and went outside to check it. It works perfectly! I saved a lot of money, thanks!

I e-mailed this company to make sure the key fob would fit my car. I gave them the vin number and car details.
I then called them before i ordered, to make sure AGAIN it would be compatible with my car. They assured me it would. Fit.
After taking it to an auto shop they showed me that the battery on my old fob was in a different place, so it would NOT work.
I called the company and was told I would have to pay shipping to send it back for a refund.
So I would be out $6.00 total shipping
And still would not have a working key fob. It was THEIR mistake, not mine.
Stay away from this rip off.

I purchased a fob that did not work. I contacted the company. Their solution was for me to send the defective one back, they would send me another and I would bring back to locksmith, hoping that this second refurbished fob would work.
The locksmith replaced the defective fob and changed me a $10 fee. I communicated this to the company but got the answer "oh well". I asked for a $10 reimbursement which would be less than shipping and handling, but I was told that they could not.

I tried to order some items over the phone, however, the salesperson was not polite and showed immediate agitation from the very start of the call. He pointed out my accent several times, saying that I should order online due to a "language barrier". He then proceeded to insult me in a rough manner that if I do not understand him then I should order online. I asked to talk with his manager, but he hung up on me. I tried to call back, but he had turned the phone to the answering machine. As a business this is unacceptable. Miscommunications are understandable, but the rough and crude way I was treated is not. This is borderline, if not blatant, discrimination and racism.

I purchased a FOB for my Jeep Grand Cherokee, the description said new. When I took it to a locksmith on their website he tried but the key would not take the program. I paid $120 for the program regardless and the locksmith said it was a used key. In the end I ended going to the dealer for the key and luckily the locksmith gave me a discount to program the second key which worked. When I asked for the programming fee to be reimbursed they where rude and denied sending me a used key. Never again will I use this company and do not recommend them for high end car keys.
