Paid extra for 2-day shipping. Took the keys to a dealer 180 miles away and they didn't work. Had to pay the $225 per key at the dealer. The customer service rep here at "carandtruckremotes" told me dealers always do that... he wouldn't listen to me and then hung up on me. I called back and they played the "it was Scott not me, and Scott is on another call." Then he gave me a fake owner name and told me someone would call me. Don't get ripped off by these weak people hiding behind an internet page.
I took the fob to the Dodge dealer when I went to pick up my 2016 Town and Country. The salesman turned it over, saw the Chrysler emblem and was happy and asked me what I paid. I told him and he said it was the cheapest he heard of. He had it programmed and the key cut for the door (free) and even told the parts person what a deal I found. He took down the email address and said he would tell other people about Car and Truck Remotes. I'm happy.
I needed two original remotes for a Toyota Matrix. The website has pictures of the refurbished remotes that show the logo and FCC ID number. That is what I ordered. What I received was the aftermarket remotes with no logo but they were the same price. I called support and they wanted me to send back the remotes before they would ship me the correct ones which I need now and not days from now. Now I have to ship back the incorrect ones on my dime to get a refund on my purchase. I would never do business again with a company that does not own up to its mistakes. These are NOT what I ordered and that is NOT my fault. Horrible customer service.
Bought a FOB and had it programmed by the dealer. Worked for a few days then stopped. Returned it and lost the $90 programming cost the dealer charged. Beware. Get an original replacement from a dealer that gives you a guarantee.
I needed a FOB for my CRV. Looked at several sites and there's appeared to be the best price but it wasn't clear if it came with the battery and blank key. Called and right away they gave me the answer it did. The FOB was at least $20 less then the nearest competitor. Shipment came in sooner than it was quoted.
Had it programmed by local locksmith and it works just like the original.
I bought this key for a 2004 Lexus RX330 only to find out I could have bought it for half the price. The directions to activate the door locks were backwards. Great lipstick on a pig customer service. Won't shop here again.
We ordered a Fob for a 2015 Hyundai Sonata. The price was fair and it arrived in a timely fashion. I took it to a local locksmith who cut the key and programmed the fob in in less than 30 minutes. He charged us $125.00 and took the key from the broken fob and set it into a new grip and didn't charge us for it. All said and done I am a happy customer.
Very easy to navigate the website. Received the remote in a few days. I had the option to purchase a new remote or a used one. I chose to get the used one even though it looks almost new. I liked the local locksmith search included with the online receipt... nice touch. I called the locksmith, and within 30 minutes of the initial call, I had a working remote. I also found a 15% off coupon online. Great experience.
I ordered two remotes for my 2004 Cadillac XLR. A Remote Driver 1 and a Driver 2 and they were shipped promptly and received today in perfect condition. Included in the package were instructions for the programming of the units. The young lady on the order desk was very helpful and the whole transaction was excellent. Thanks to the team at Car and Truck Remotes.
When I got on the site, it took less than 10 minutes from start to finish to find and order what I needed. The remote and key were delivered on time... they were delivered accurately. The remote instructions were clear, easy, and succinct. It worked the first time and worked perfectly. Great customer service and follow through. Cant say enough.
I am now in the process of figuring out how to return one of the remotes which I accidentally order due to hectic check out. The shipping was excellent, I received my in a couple of days instead of weeks.
I called the company to make sure I was ordering the right remote for my car. After confirmation I placed the order online on Thursday and I had my remote on Monday. I am completely satisfied with my initial transaction.
I got my replacement fob in a timely manner and the refurbished remote looked brand new! It was easy to find the right fob and easy to place the order. I appreciated the option to buy a pre used fob to lower my costs.
I dropped my remote during the winter... bounced off my rocker panel and popped open... bounced into the snow. I found the case, the circuit board and battery but the rubber contact key pad went into another dimension and was never found. Less than $5 for the replacement case and rubber key pad plus $8 for international shipping to Canada. That's $13 American or $16.25 in Canadian funds (No Duty charges and No Sales Tax charges). A fraction of the cost of buying a new keyfob and programming. Product arrived 5 days earlier than scheduled. 5 minutes to install with a new battery and everything is working perfectly. Will recommend to anyone who will listen.
Took FOB to the dealer and they could not get it to work with the remote start feature. Called your company, and they did their best to try and figure out what is wrong. Honestly, I think the dealer is the one having the problem downloading the correct software to the car to make the remote start work... going somewhere else to see if we can get the FOB to work...
I called in regards to a defective order for a refurbished remote for a Mazda CX-5 that I had received and really was put off by the customer service rep I spoke with. The key I had received had TWO unlock buttons, one of which is upside down on the remote. Lol. Idk how anyone could mess that up, but they did. When I told this to the customer service rep, he said that was odd and that thwy would have to make sure it was "in fact the remote that had been sent to me" before they'd replace it. As if I was lying and trying to do a switcheroo on them. Really? What a joke of a business. Now I have to ship the remote back, for them "to inspect it" and then wait additional days for a new shipment, all while I am trying to trade in my vehicle with a defective key. Would not recommend them to anyone.
Took it to Mazda to have it paired with my singe key after I lost the original second key. The fobs are nearly identical, except the replacement panic exclamation mark is not red like the original (all silver). It came with a battery. I will say that the material is slightly softer than the original key because it scratched and dented very easily when I took it apart to find that it already included a battery. Mazda service had no issue pairing them, took about an hour total (I'm sure it took minutes, but hey- paying for labor). Not a big deal, the key works and I wound up saving over $100 that the Mazda dealer had quoted me. I'm happy! Shipped on time, well packaged.
My product was easy to find and it is WAY cheaper here than through the dealership. It got here in less than two weeks with no shipping cost and I was able to track it while I waited for it to arrive. It came with very clear instructions for set-up that were included in the package and I was able to get it working in less than 5 minutes. Barring any major problems in the future, I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
This thing eats batteries.
Replaced battery 3 times.
Not one of them lasted 2 weeks.
I gave up.

These key fobs were OEM refurbished and came as described and looked like new. Had the dealership program the fobs and cut the keys and they work great. The ordering process and programming went without a hitch. I would recommend this site to purchase your key fobs.
