Should have read the reviews b4 I bought from C&TR. Same thing as many others. Pd for 2 fobs, will not unlock my car. Asked for refund, they want to keep the frt chg. If you ship defective product, the customer should not have to pay the freight for that defective junk. Don't waste your time with this company, they obviously are shipping junk based on all the horrible reviews. Mark in customer service was not rude, but a complete zero when it comes to customer service. Why would you lose a customer and risk this type of review over $3.51?
This FOB that I purchased from car and truck had instructions and also internet video. I had to program the FOB and found it did work well. Was shipped and arrived on time and price was very reasonable.
Got a refurbished remote for my Mazda and it worked exactly as needed. The locksmith was able to easily reprogram it for my vehicle in less than 20 minutes and works exactly like the factory one.
I was disappointed that I had to pay for customs. When I order the product, it only indicated the cost for shipping to Canada which was really good but it never indicated that customs cost would be additional. I have to browse your website to find out your disclaimer about the customs cost.
If I knew from the very beginning that in your cost of shipping to Canada, the customs cost were not included, then I would have ordered it to be deliver to an address that I receive my packages in the US.
I bought a Nissan key fob and tried to have the Lock smith connect it to the car it did not work so i had to repurchase a fob front he lock smith so i payed double for the keys and it's just irritating that this company is just taking money from people knowing the fobs just will not work. I did rush shipping and it didn't come very fast
The programming instructions describe a method of programming new key fobs with an already programmed one, but that did not work for me. The instructions for removing all key fob mappings and subsequently programming in batch (old and new) worked, but it also confused me by not telling me to put the key fobs in the front cup holder rather than the back cup holder. I assumed the key fobs would be programmed in the back cup holder because the previous steps used the back cup holder. This confusion frustrated me for about 30 minutes before I searched for instructions online that told me to use the front cup holder, after which it took a few seconds to program all my fobs.
So the product is mostly fine, but the instructions should be clearer in this regard. :D
Needed a third remote for a 2015 Ford Explorer. New remote was recieved in a few days. The new remote is original equipment and I was able to program it taking just a few minutes. New remote starts, remote starts, locks and unlocks, open and closes rear hatch, and has Panic button. All for less than half the price of a Ford dealership!
Silicone cover appears to fit well and should perform as expected BUT has an unremovable Ad for the company, printed and unobscurable. I don't allow my car to be badged, don't wear ads and and don't wish to advertise anyone, so very disappointed.

This was easy to program and it worked. I'm usually frustrated and angry because the directions for things aren't clear and do not work. This was easy to follow and WORKED great. Congratulations on getting it right.
The remote came as described (brand new). I watched the video on the webpage on programming the remote; it took me 2-3 times to get it right. But, the savings from the remote to the information in the video is all worth me being a little slow on the electronics. Thank you guys!

I bought the remote for my 2010 Chevy Silverado, followed the instructions and it works. The first time it did not and actually stopped my original key fob from working, I tried a second time and programed both and now everything is ok.
I also bought a key for my truck but have not cut it and programed it, so I cannot review the key at this time.

This company is "AWESOME"! The prices are UNBEATABLE and the shipping was unbelievably FAST! I RECEIVED MY KEYS IN LESS THAN A WEEK! One site wanted $20 dollars for the exact same thing and the "STEALERSHIP" wanted nearly $50 (before my military discount) but even after that, each key was going to cost me $40 dollars! From now on, (EVERY) vehicle that I own, I'm going to be purchasing ALL of my keys from this wonderful company! My only downside is that they didn't come with any programming instructions, but that's what (YOUTUBE) IS FOR... RIGHT! This is a follow up to my 4 star review. Finally had the remote programmed. Locksmith said my Brand (Nissan) are sometimes difficult to program but she did it. Works like a charm. Good price.
Excellent fast delivery. Price is far better that any dealer quote I had.
I will definitely use them again anytime I or an associate would need another remote.
