I ordered 3 gallons of hand sanitizer and pump. Website says it is in stock. 2 weeks after ordering they were just getting ready to ship. In between I wanted to cancel the order because it is very expensive and it wasn't in stock as they said. They would not cancel order saying it was already in progress and once you confirm the order, there are no cancellations or refunds.
Got the sanitizer a tad later than expected, but so what. It is fine. It works. A gallon will last a while for our family. We even gave away a quart. Trying times.
On Service & Inventory:
1. It took over 2 months to receive my Lemon Essential Oil from a $1,500 order. So, I finally start opening up my big metal bottles of Organic Essential Oils, assuming they would all be the correct essential oil that is labeled on the bottles. All were correct, except the Organic Orange. The Organic Orange Essential Oil is clear it has a strong menthol-like aroma. I know now that I will not get my money back with a 30-day return policy! Wow, what about the 3-month delivery policy? Now, I will have to go find another company that competes with Bulk Apothecary, that I can purchase Orange Essential Oil from that knows how to make the product or label the bottle correctly. My Essential Oil Spray mix will be delayed for who knows how long? My customers have luckily been patient. I have been ordering Orange Essential Oil from Young Living for about 3 years now. All I was trying to do was save on cost per ounce. It's so true about the quote, "you get what you pay for", especially with "Bulk Apothecary".
2. What is the use of having a toll free number that directs customers to email, if email service is virtually non-existent? I had to send out two emails requesting someone to look into the missing order of my 5 gallons of Lemon Essential Oil. Blaming the issue on booming business means the HR should be hiring temps since there is a situation out there called High Unemployment Rates! That is so greedy to not do so. That's why Amazon's employment blueprint does so well.
3. I found I could order 5 Gallons of the same Organic Lemon Essential Oil 2 months after I was still waiting for the delivery of the exact same product. Inventory right hand not speaking to the processing left hand?
4. Bulk Apothecary should not offer the best prices on spray bottles if they cannot keep the inventory in stock. The stock has not been replenished for at least 2.5 months now.
5. False Advertisement of Great Service. Don't advertise what you don't deliver. Eventually, the bad service word will spread rapidly & get caught on the net...
Product was defective. Emailed them several times to try and return for a refund. They never once responded and I never got a refund. They basically stole my money. Don't be fooled by the website. Horrible company.
I have a small business and made some bulk orders with this company. They sent me a bulk order of hand sanitizer that was horrible. It STANK so bad it was unusable! I tried to call the company which refused refused to accept phone calls. I tried to give a bad review online and they blocked any negative reviews. Then, they continued charging my credit card and sending me product I didn't order. They refused a refund and tried to replace the product with something better. I will NEVER order from this company again!
First it was over priced. I paid almost $15 to have it shipped in three days. It took them one month and no word. After i filed complain with eBay. Then they send it. I asked for a refund for the extra charges. They ignored me. Bad product. The disinfectant was very watery and had a bad smell.
DO NOT WAIST UR MONEY WITH THEM
I ordered a product from this company expecting shipment in 24-28 hours according to the confirmation email I received. Long story short, I then was emailed many notices telling me it could be weeks before my product was even shipped. After canceling the order they went ahead the following day and shipped the item. I later discovered that in fact the items never shipped. Rather a UPS label was created while my order sat. I also received paragraph long emails from this company defending themselves for the order delays including one where they reprimanded consumers for their impatience. This was by far the worst customer service and fulfillment from an online business that I have dealt with. I DO NOT recommend doing business with them. There are plenty of other companies out there who provide exceptional customer service and who are prepared to provide products as promised on their websites.
Customer $#*!)istance is none existing! Called & sent them several emails about my order. No one answering phone calls. All you get is a machine asking you to contact them through email. I'll never EVER order from them again and will make sure no one I know orders from them. What a disappointment!
This is the worst smelling hand sanitizer I have ever smelled. I have 14 staff members and doctors and we have all tried it. It really stinks. It does not "smell slightly different than many commercial hand sanitizers which use synthetic alcohol" It reeks. There is no lavender scent. My staff and doctors refuse to use it. My family tried it and said the same thing. I would like a refund and you can send me a UPS or USPS credit or shipping pre paid form to return it to you. This is very disappointing.
I placed an order for bulk hand sanitizer on March 23,2020. My order was shipped in the 2 week time frame I received at the time of order. However when I went to track my product, I received the message that product was damaged in delivery and destroyed by shipper. I immediately reached out to Bulk Apothecary asking what the next step was, and when they would be replacing my order. I received an email back that due to high demand they could not re-ship my order and would refund my money within 2 to 3 days. Not only did I not receive my order, but it is now May 5th and I have still not received my refund. In a time when the world needs to join together and do what is right, I have no indication that this company had any intention to do so. Not only have I not received any product, I am currently out the money I paid as well.
I placed a small order. After several weeks, order arrived but was missing an item. I contacted using the only email / phone number I could locate. Sent 4 emails - received one response that they will look into my missing order item. 2 weeks later, still no resolution and no further contact. Will never order from again. Beware - do not purchase from this company.
I ordered 1 gallon of gel for $70, I know it's high priced, anyway it came a month later and excited to finally receive it. Opened and put some on my hands. I was omg this sticks like vomit. Couldn't get the smell washed off. I looked back online where I purchased. It says no refunds. What a waste of money. It stinks bad not sure how it works but I know if I used it I'm certain people wouldn't come around me. There is your social distancing!
We ordered the 1 gallon of sanitizer- liquid because they were out of stock of the hand sanitizer- gel. We received 2 gel hand sanitizers instead. After 3 emails because we spent $50.00 for the gallon and they sent 2 gel's at $3.95 each. They ended up giving us the gel's for free- thank you, but the liquid took weeks to come in. The smell is horrendous and instantly produces a gagging reflex with me. Now I am reading an article from the FDA that is saying corn based sanitizer is not safe to use?
Shipping time took a few days shy of a month, but I completely understand due to the unprecedented times. However, the liquid hand santizer, "Germ Attack", is one of the worst odors I have ever smelled. It smells like tequila vomit with a hint of fermented vegetables & milk. I feel like I wasted $100.00, because it is not usable as is, and gives my family members and I a nauseating feeling with slight headache. I am disappointed with the product, but not Bulk Apothecary.
I finally received my order after 35 days! But i am very disappointed with the sanitizing spray. I purchased 4 gallons and they smell disgusting. I know that its grain alcohol, but i have never smelled anything like this! I have added my essential oils and scented oils like i usually do, but the funky smell is still so overpowering. I hate that i wasted my money on such an awful product. I just sent them an email so i can send it back Apparently they changed the formula AFTER i placed my order
Ordered a gallon of sanitizer on March 20 because they said it was available and would arrive by March 28. No sanitizer arrived and upon checking on my order I noticed they added a banner to their site stating there is now a 2 week wait time. I ordered almost 5 weeks ago and my order still states AWAITING SHIPMENT. They do not answer their phone. Email ignored. 60.00 for nothing! Its only ethyl alcohol and aloe so 60.00 is outrageous a already but for nothing?! Close up or Refund
Ordered hand sanitizer more than a month ago. I had emailed them several times asking when I might get The order confirmation. They responded but still no confirmation came. A week later I got the order confirmation but now 2 week's later still no sanitizer. Don't bother ordering from here. You will never get the product in any amount of REASONABLE time.
I understand that there's a pandemic, and I understand they are overwhelmed.
However there is NO excuse to not reply to several email inquiries when my order is shipping. When I placed the order, the leadtime was 10 days.

Did finally receive the Hand sanitizer I ordered. Seems they shipped it about 3 week after I ordered it. Giving them the benefit, they were probably overwhelmed by recent events.
Ordered 2 items on march 8th. Cannot log into account now. Their phone number has a message that they are not answering calls. Email contact does not reply. This is not a way to treat your customers. Will have to file a claim with the credit card company
