With the number of employees out of work you think they would defer a payment but they won't. Record year for repossessions on the way.
Dont get CARVANA,... DONT GET BRIDGECREST... I want to send extra payment only for the principal so I can finish before... NO OPTION I HAVE TO CALL THEM... with a "small fee"...
This company is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are a bunch of liars. Every time I call they tell me a different story.
Customer service is absolute $#*!. I had a vehicle financed through Bridgcrest that was totaled recently. Every single time I contacted them for info that I needed to file a gap claim, they constantly told me that they didn't have that info and that I was supposed to get it from other company(insurance/dealership/gap company). I had to be a $#*! and demand to speak to a manager, then all of the sudden I got what I needed. They sent me on a wild goose chase back and forth between 4 different companies including some other company that the extended warranty was through. I have worked with multiple lienholders before and this company is by far the worst to deal with. This is the ONLY lienholder I have felt the urge to go out of my way to leave a horrible review for how $#*!ty of service they give. If I knew this is what I would have had to deal with when purchasing my Durango, I would've just bought a different vehicle somewhere else from a different dealership. The dealership I bought from was carvana.com. The customer service at carvana was great but they use bridgcrest for a lot of their loans so I definitely wouldn't recommend buying from them unless you can choose which lienholder to use. Seriously, $#*! bridgcrest and every employee that works there. They are all asshats that dont give 2 $#*!s about helping any of their customers.
Why even agree on a date for your car payment to be withdrawal if they going to pull when they want to anyway
I'm over paying right now and these people are still f@%king me over its ridiculous like what the hell are these people doing!
Bridgecrest charge to much interest on cars and drive time sell horrible cars. I will never buy another car from drive time and use bridgecrest

Just a bot loop with customer service, who cuts you off at random, mid conversation. Maddening. Embarrassed they are my car loan company.
My wife and I have a car through carvana/ Bridgecrest we just got into a new home and in order to get into that new home we had to pay off both of our cars when I received the title to my car it was completely clean and clear I was the main person on the title when we received my wife's title it came back with all kinds of paperwork and documentation that the car had been paid in full the contract was null null and void and that carvana / Bridgecrest was still the lienholder I contacted the company asked what they could do they told me I had to go to the DMV and get it changed to spend my own money to do this spend my time to do the contact another person they said that they would take care of it but they might have an issue received a letter in the mail stating that the car has been paid in full that there is no longer a lien on the car but yet they will not do anything to fix the title I will continue to write bad reviews about Bridgecrest until this is dealt with correctly I should not have to lift a finger to do anything to get my title clean and clear this should have been dealt with correctly by Bridgecrest not by me
This is a direct honest view of Bridgecrest.
1. Avoid if possible.
2. Be prepared to pay ridiculous interest
3. Expect questionable customer service
4. Expect non existent updates between thier accounting department and main office.
After a rather messy divorce, my credit was in the gutter.
I had lost everything, my ex destroyed my credit by using my identity to get credit cards, and the courts were as equally dismissive by giving me all the debt even though I had solid evidence that it was my ex not I racking up debt.
I had to find a vehicle quickly.
I had to go to drive time.
Right off the bat I knew there was going to taken advantage of.
Bridgecrest ( drivetime) made absolutely sure I DIDN'T get what I needed.
I kept a perfect payment record for two years.
During that time I got back on my feet and called for a pay off.
I was shocked to find out that the 14 k vehicle I was paying at the amount of 500 a month. Had a pay off of $13,675.
Heres the math. 500 per month for 24 months equals 12k
How in the hell do I owe 13+k if bridgecrest has 12k?
So, I did what any person would do.
I traded in my vehicle at a major dealership. Got a trade in value
Of 11,500 of the bridgecrest car. Negotiated additional terms with my new dealership, drove off with a 2018 vehicle at 6% interest.
Bridgecrest received a pay off. But refuse to update thier records.
I've had 2 repo trucking companies come to my home looking for a vehicle that bridgecrest KNOWS is at a dealership.
Now they are attacking my credit. EVEN THOUGH I have sent documents repeatedly proving 1. Thier vehicle is free and clear at my end.
2. I am not in possession.
Yet, Bridgecrest continues to harrass me.
My Bridgecrest experience was like playing Russian roulette.
The sufficed at the moment but got worse as time progressed.
I paid all the payments but because 4 payments were extended they say i owe 1400 dollors more after the loan had matured
Buyer Beware, WHAT A RIP.! This company preys on people with BAD or NO credit and just RIPS them off. Like the Financial housing bubble in 2008 with the banks.
You might get a crappy car but you'll pay forever. Their business practices are based on ripping as much money out of you as possible and fulfilling THEIR American Dream. You might be better off to go to a corner Title Loan Company.
I tried to pay off a loan and they make it so difficult and charged so many fee's and sent me in various directions to pay. I was sent to Walmart with 10K in Cash and they ( WALMART) were so confused I left. Then they gave me the option of paying by CC but only 3K at a time with a 3$ fee. ( They gotta RIP you for the interest) I asked for a TOTAL payoff number which they gave me and I sent a Cashiers Check ( make sure it's registered mail) and then got a call that the amount DID NOT include interest, so they dinged me for another 1000. 00$ before I could get the title. I guess they don't understand what TOTAL payoff means.
The customer service department should be called the Moron's in Customer Service Department, a bunch of idiots reading from a designed script designed to send you in circles.
Very Very BAD company to do business with... BUYER BEWARE!
Don't even try to get help from customer service. They will transfer you from agent to agent and get nothing resolved. I moved from Colorado to Kansas and in order to get my vehicle registered in Kansas, they need a copy of the title from Bridgecrest. They received the request letter from my county at the beginning of December. My Bridgecrest account shows they "sent the DMV" the title on December 22nd. I was told it will take 3-5 business days and it is now January 14th and my county still has not received it. My account does not state where they sent it, or how it was sent. One agent told me they faxed it and when I asked what fax number they sent it to (because the letter indicates an address to MAIL IT, but does NOT include any sort of fax number) she placed me on hold for ten minutes and then a different agent answered. Another agent said she was going to place me on hold to contact the "title department". I was on hold for 15 minutes and then another agent answered. That agent told me they are not even able to contact the title department nor does it indicate in my account that anything was faxed. It just says it was "sent", but doesn't say how or where. This agent begins to tell me it will take 6-8 weeks, yet he didn't understand that if it was sent on December 22nd (per the notes on my account) why my county hasn't received it yet. It doesn't take 6-8 weeks for delivery even with the slowest of options being regular mail. I also sent a correspondence to them via email inquiring about this, to which I have yet to receive any sort of response. When I ask the agents how I am supposed to know if the title was sent to the right address and/or if anything is being done about this, they said all I can do is wait. Meanwhile, I am not able to legally drive my vehicle because it's not registered.
Theyre ok when you have to settle because of situations where maybe you were unable to build credit for a while. Once I was diagnosed with cancer I couldn't work even after I beat it. Due to obvious reasons such as the after effects body being worn down immune system shot etc etc. well I only had $2500 in debt. So once I could work again I paid that right off. But I also hadn't put anything more on my credit in 10 years. So I settled for Carvana Bridgecrest. I got my car easy. 3 months later I was laid off due to the pandemic. I started to panic. Now LIKE ANOTHER PERSON HAS COMMENTED, YOU NEED TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL THEM! They don't just magically know your situation and they can't assume it's because of the pandemic. NO! You have to tell them! And that's what I did. I called them right away I was broken up & scared. But the woman on the other line was soooo kind & helpful & understanding. She adjusted my payments to defer one & said "Call me back right away if you need another deferred I WILL HELP YOU!" Thank god I didn't need to. Because of the unemployment pay that finally kicked in. And then not too long after I was finally hired back. But again, AS LONG AS YOU TELL THEM WHAT YOUR STATUS IS, YOU WILL BE OK!
The only complaint I really have is their high interest rate and inability to refinance you for a lower one even after so many on time payments. That's where I recommend using something like credit karma where they will actually find you places to refinance through for a much much much lower interest rate.
Hope this helps.
Bought a car March of 22 my son totalled it within a year. Heartbreaking definitely wasn't the plan. Anyway my insurance paid their part. GAP paid their part and I paid on the car for almost a year. I also had to keep paying monthly payments while everything was getting taken care of... little did I know none of accounting know how to use calculators and boy did they love sending threats outs. Telling me at one point I owed $1680. Mind you I have NEVER been late or missed a payment. They say they are going to send it in and will affect my credit score (they only said this on phone calls knowing otherwise it could be screenshot which i have a ton of). Everyday for awhile I would log on just to get a different amount I owed and more threats telling me I needed to pay now or else they are going to hit my credit score.
Have one really funny one says your payment is over due in the amount of 0.00 PAY NOW CALL BRIDGECREST *******526. I have sooooo many screen shots at this point saved back. Was chatting with a few people today about my refund I am expecting almost TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS and first lady had to transfer me to someone else and then she couldn't help me at all because they have no way to contact accounting. Lol what?! I'm going to start recording these comical phone calls wish I would have started sooner. Also one of their very most FAVORITE phrases is check back in 10 days. Yes that is another thing... they have no problem contacting me when my payment is SUPPOSEDLY late but they can't otherwise contact me? Please go for another financial company. I wish I would have read these reviews before hand but if I can help one person not to deal with this utter crap that is awesome. Sincerely one fed up customer
PS I want so badly to add all of the information that shows when and how much was taken from my bank account as I had direct deposit to them but I don't think I should.
Bridgecrest and DriveTime needs to be more careful because the new law states they can not call someone more than 7 times within a week for a bill or it becomes unlawful harassment. I've already had 9 by Wed. I have been monitoring them. I had become negative $1 Million dollars while being un-employed, and then start a job and before two weeks of being there I get Covid. They didn't care. They said there was nothing they could do and the next day my car was due for repo. And said I had to make a double payment because it would be due for repossession two days later. How is that possible? The 1st and the 3rd! I also told them it would be paid off in full in the next day of two for refinancing my home just to pay that stupid RAGEDY car of theirs off and they still made me pay! They don't care what your situation is they claim they can not do anything with late fees, to help with the interest. Even your pay off that is supposed to be good for ten days adds interest every day. A pay off quote that's good for however many days should stay the same for those amount of days! I regret sending three people to them to get their vehicles now. I have had my car since 2016 and owe more than than the purchase price. From someone who has always had perfect credit until lifes events recently, Idk how they sleep at night knowing they do this kind of work. Scamming and stealing from ppl. I understand if someone cant get financed somewhere else BUT PLEASE MAKE THIS YOUR LASSSSSSSSSST OPTION BEFORE YOU DO IT... TRUST ME!
BRIDECREST REPOSESS MY VEHICLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF $222.70 one missed payment tried to pay the balance to get the car back and they refused told me i would need to pay off the loan in full remind you this was only my 2nd payment since i purchase the vehicle this is how they treat there customers people like me who went to them in the first place to establish a good credit history to build my score they care nothing about you they don't care its a slap in the face knowing you already have a low credit score and when they reposess the car they told me its going to stay on my credit for 7 to 10 as a negative impact on my credit tried to explain to them i recently changed jobs and if i can change my payment to the following week they told me no we cant help you set the up till 6 months of payment history i told them well if my payment is due on the off week that i don't get paid what should i do the rep told me i suggest you better save some money to make sure we are able to get that payment on that off week. How rude and ignorant he was his name was chris not we can help you so this loan can be a success this arrogant business i hope fail and i really hope people will do the research on Drivetime before they purchase a vehicle something i shouldve done but you live and you learn
Answer: I was a partial payment late and they will take your car. If you get bridgecrest have a garage
Answer: Cars depreciate very quickly. One of the dumbest financial decisions a person can make is spending a shit ton of their income on a vehicle. Expensive cars aren't worth it. Nobody needs leather seats or separate climate controls. And it's not like you're buying one vehicle for the rest of your life. Quit looking at cars as status symbols and save your 8K for something else.
Answer: 90 Days...
Answer: Call them to come get it...,...
Answer: Not a question... perhaps you could attempt making a free payment online on the website?
Answer: I'm sueing them and that's that. And they should be closed down
Answer: Try your local credit union. They love to undercut the interest rates, and can generally be a little more lenient because they get their money through payroll deductions, meaning they get paid first.
Bridgecrest has a rating of 1.4 stars from 403 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Bridgecrest most frequently mention customer service, drive time and due date. Bridgecrest ranks 187th among Payment Processing sites.
