Bridgecrest is totally trash
I paid on time since 2018 and was behind this year because of covid.
I kept them up to date as for when I was starting back working. They didn't call or anything, they came to repo my suv. The lady said they couldn't call me because I filled bankruptcy in 2018. Even though I did not put them on the bankruptcy, I guess I should have. They are terrible. I wouldn't go back to them if they were the last company on earth.

This company is a scam. I received a car a year ago... from drivetime I attempted to pay my car payment through my bank and the local Walmart yet the charges kept being rejected with thousands in my account (for my bank card) so I went to Walmart for them to say they can't find the payment system bridgecrest uses... a rep from bridgecrest argued with the Walmart worker on my phone speaker. Fast forward 4 weeks car was repossessed from my driveway. They told me I would have to pay 20,000 to get it back. Mind you it was a 10k car with 1000 down, yes I understand interest etc but that was robbery. Lastly, they took it off my credit because it happened a month after I got the car? Yeah they got my deposit and took their car back. I paid 1000. 00 for a month then was left carless. SCAM

So you want some info on $#*!Crest. So I had a past do balance of 225 bucks. I pay the 225, I then call and confirm it's done and paid. I go to sleep wake up and my car is gone. I wake up and call these clowns and they tell me the 200 that I paid didn't go through and the account is closed smh this company is by far theee worst! I spoke to someone and told them and they even said that's $#*!ed up and that my interest is way too high. Bridge crest won't be around much longer. I will see to that.

This place will screw you financially! I had an original loan on a 2011 Kia Soul 18,000 I looked on line when I went to make a payment and all of a sudden my loan was at $27,000. No reasoning at all period! Luckily I have friends in the auto industry and they told me that was too much. Anyways getting on with it I filed Bankruptcy and guess what my Attorney will have a field day with them because last night there was a repo company my son and I got home and a tow truck backed into my place blocked in my car we hadn't even gotten out yet and some bald headed dude tried to bully me. He said I am here to repo your vehicle. I called my Attorney when I got in so she is going to the court and will have them put Bridgecrest on notice about violating the Bankruptcy law's in Texas. I don't want that crappy $#*! vehicle back but they will pay for violating the Bankruptcy paperwork! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

This company is THE WORST! Not only do you pay 5 times what the car is worth - you will constantly be make repairs to the car they sold to you. You can't go elsewhere to get the car refinanced unless you are willing to put about 8,000 up front to pay the car down.

THE WORST EVER
December 15, 2023

IF...IF i COULD give them 0.001 rating times negative 10 I WOULD! They are horrible. They are basically a predatory second rate lender. They were the ONLY lender that was available through the company I bought my car from (Carvana). They tell you one thing for the interest rate, but after all of their processing or whatever the interest rate I was financed at was higher than what I originally saw. The company are loan-sharks basically and they harass the (bleep) out of a person on day one after the due date IF you didn't make your payment. They don't offer a grace-period and then the daily accrual of interest is violating to my soul, it should be a crime how they take advantage of buyers. I have bought cars in the past and I never, ever had any problem with the other lenders EVER! If I was late making a payment, there was a grace period and they never bamboozled me and roped me in to a web of deception as Bridgecrest has. I regretfully purchased my car through Carvana during the height of COVID because there were limited dealerships open or cars available that I preferred and I badly needed a car at that time. I believe too that Carvana / Bridgecrest know that the vehicles that they handle/finance are overpriced and there is less likelihood that the car could get refinanced ( at least in my case). I was told the car's value is not worth the refi. My car's value is only 8K and I still owe 14K on it. I got ripped off both ways and I feel like they bent me over and... (shaking my head in disgust). Take this as a warning if you are even thinking about using Bridgecrest for financing...DON'T DO IT!

Worst Company EVER
September 28, 2021

I had a mobile service provider (approved by Bridgecrest) to come out and service my vehicle due to error messages on the car. The wrench tech said my "Differential Clutch Pump" was bad but they reset my error code. The wrench tech said they couldn't help and I had to go to another repair shop. Bridgecrest didn't believe the wrench tech and told the new company to replicate the error (after it had been reset). They couldn't and now I have a car that is possibly broken.

The second repair company, Olathe Auto Clinic (in Kansas) is a joke and so is Bridgecrest. I will NEVER use either company again.

I have been with bridgecrest for over a year through Carvana and so far I am very pleased. I am shocked at the negative reviews and most seem to have a common theme.
For one, READ, do your RESEARCH. I understand life has situations where we have to take what we can get, but always know what you are getting into. Read reviews, make phone calls, etc.

Two, CREDIT- No matter what if your credit is not good, please stop getting upset that you have a high interest rate... and that's EVERYWHERE. You will either have a high interest rate or settle for a buy here pay here vehicle with no warranty. That's how it goes until you build credit or go to my first point, which is reading and research. I'm finding that's the bulk of these negative reviews.

Third, I have paid late a few times, none of which have been reported on my credit because I've stuck to my agreement and paid more to cover the accumulated interest.

Lastly, I just want people to understand this is business, and you're using a loan. If you don't know what you're doing, you will feel ripped off. Used cars will come with issues ultimately that's where a warranty and a backup plan come into place. There are too many people with 500 credit scores with a 800 score attitude.

The last thing I will say is to try your credit union... the process is a bit longer (that's the issue there... we don't understand that convenience comes with a price), but you find the best rates with brick and mortar institutions.
Good Luck!

They're interest is astronomical and they never respond to emails. Only use this company and Drivetime if you're desperate. It should be illegal for them to operate.

The company is the worst
September 27, 2019

I honestly can't wait to refinance and step away from this stupid company. I make my payments early every two weeks and because after I made a payment they still tried to debit my account they are telling me I have to pay $15... it's not about the money it's just why charge a good paying on time (early actually) person for something that was clearly a mistake and I have never in the 8 months I been with company had a good customer service experience... DONT FINANCE WITH THIS COMPANY... they are rude and really unfair...

I currently have an auto loan and I lost my job a few months ago. However, I communicated asking if they could work with me far as making payment arrangements and they were not willing to help. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone as well as when I get back on my feet, I plan to trade this car in just so I won't have to deal with this lender EVER again. I don't care what anyone states, they are unwilling to assist in your time of need. HORRIBLE LENDER.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
November 28, 2022

If I could give this company -0 stars I would. The interests rates are extremely ridiculous, they have the NERVE to charge a $5.00 late fee, you will being paying the interest rates ONLY if you don't pay on time, even then majority goes to INTEREST RATES...Which means you'll be paying for ever. The fact most of the cars are OVER 10 YRS old, the interest rates are oblivious...This company will except those who are in need of a vehicle only to RIP YOU OFF COMPLETELY...STAY AWAY...IF YOUR CHOICES ARE LIMITED...TRY TOO REFINANCE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ( IF IT'S BRIDGECREST LOAN)...

Do not use
February 19, 2020

My car was repoed tonight. I have not missed a payment. Due to their mistake, a hold was put on my acct. They claim there was insufficient funds (there was plenty in the acct), but the hold was still in my acct and it was basically money I couldn't use. They demanded a payment even though technically they were holding it. Tonight, 2 days before my next payment is due, they repo my car. Yes, I plan to sue.

Worst Company Ever
February 1, 2020

Wow what can I say about Bridgecrest the worst finance company I feel on hard times I was working for a company for 5 years and without any warning they laid alot of people of I was one on thoes people before that I would pay my payments on time never had a problem until I feel behind and I contacted customer service they most rudest people ever they don't offer help just say I am sorry but you need to make a payment or clear every out the vehicle the car I purchased a lemon it has so many mechanical problems. And when ever your late they don't tell you about the daily interest rate that you will incur and that you are going to be upside down on your payments some people know it as balloon payments. Please be cautious of this company and DriveTime all scammers. All of these reviews are telling the truth about this company something needs to be done about it.

Bridgecrest is terrible and if you can avoid doing business with them you should. To start, they have one of the worst customer service centers I've ever been in contact with. I made a payment online and 8 days later it still did not process. I spoke with my bank who said the funds have not yet been processed on Bridgecrest end. When I called Bridgecrest, customer service had no idea when the payment was processed only that it posted on the day that I paid. They said they had no way of getting in touch with anybody to let me know when or if the payment had actually processed on their end. Customer service was quite nasty and in general they do not go out of their way to try to help customers at all. For example, one month I was going to be three days late on a payment and they have no grace period and continually charge you interest per day until you pay. In addition, during this pandemic they are not deferring payments at all. And they are making phone calls regularly asking people to make payments, which is just poor business. They are quite inept and rude. I was happy with the service at Carvana, had I known that this would be my experience with Bridgecrest I would not have purchased from them
