Paid a ONE TIME small fee on Facebook advertisement to take an IQ test. Now a week or 2 later today they just charged me AUD$58.80 in an unauthorised transaction! Needless to say I have raised a case with Paypal to obtain a refund. What a bunch of crooks! Stay far away from this company!
I can't recall being shown an option to agree to a subscription after taking the initial IQ test which was soo basic it simply was not worth it. A week later an annual charge was applied to my bank. I questioned this and asked for a refund. Their answer was to agree to a cancellation of the service but T& Cs made it impossible to offer any reimbursement so I paid in full for something I will never use. A clear way of taking money from someone. They should be investigated.

Total scamm and fraud! No information, that they are making a trial account, that charges you 38.80€ a month after a week. Also not wanting to give full refund, because their "company" policy! Can't call it a Company, when your main interest is to fraud people!

I paid for a 2 EU test and got charged some days later, 38EU for a service I never subscribed to, according to them it's in their terms and conditions, a free trial and then charged. They never send an email to tell you you signed up for anything, just making sure they can charge you without you cancelling first. All in all a terrible experience, really considering taking legal action on this.

Brainety advertises a product it doesn't deliver on, tricks you into signing up, then takes a fee to do quiz, to get result trick you into 'free one week trial', but no warning it'll expire, and money is taken from account. Very deceptive in delivery of product.

I once entered my details for result card only of a test and paid for that. But never asked for subscription or renewel. I am a low paid person and this amout i shuge for me while I have not taken any more service you can check zero activity and do not want to continue services. I just subscribed one-time IQ test for 2 euros but they took from my credit card 38 euros without any subscrption to that service. They refused to refund me so I took legal action through Italian police and authorities and reported the fraud to all the social networks.

I contacted a support that dismissed me saying I signed up for the T&C. Yeah sure.

Should have read the reviews before attempting an IQ test... Asked for 2,18.€ for the test which was paid and than a week later deducted 38€ for subscription which I have never wanted or needed and thus not even used. Absolutely nowhere in the emails does it ask for confirming a subscription or setting a direct debit... I am surprised that a company can continue to cheat so many customers and still be in business! They Should ne banned from market and be sued!

Not so "easy refund" policy
Like many others I paid a few pounds for a test but later was charged for a subscription | was unaware of. I have corresponded with Brainety and successfully cancelled my subscription. I have requested a refund of the £38.80 deducted from my PayPal account but they have refused my request. This is despite the fact that I received an initial email from them telling me I could "relax" because of their "easy refund" policy and "awesome" customer service. They claim that according to their terms and conditions I do not qualify for a refund. I note that some reviewers on this site whose story is identical to my own have received a refund. I have pointed this out in my correspondence with Brainety but so far have received no satisfaction. I will update this post of further developments so others will be aware of this company and how they operate their "awesome" customer service
