Absolute Thievery! I did test paid $14.90 got nothing in return yet. Test itself was challenging at times but could be because on my phone pictures too small. This review app wants a picture of receipt I didn't get one yet been an hour! I put any picture in to avoid algorithms/ filters

Very intentionally tricking people into subscribing, as there are loads of complaints and zero improvements to their site or behaviour.
(I am yet another customer who got tricked into paying 79$ and got refused a refund)
One would say you improve your website once your customers get confused and you know that you won't refund them.
Or that you start refunding people seeing the amount of complaints.
No - instead they refund people only sometimes, when there's a public complaint others can see.

I signed up just out of interest for the trial period, didn't feel like it's sth I'd like to use on a daily basis, and forgot to cancel my trial. They charged me $79, and I emailed their customer support the same second asking them to cancel my subscription and refund me. Their robot told me the ETA is 24 hours, but they got back to me after 2 days and refused to refund me covering with their terms of service! Their response is attached.
It's so frustrating and disappointing that I played with the app barely an hour, decided that I don't like it, and forgot to cancel, and paid $79 for that experience!
That's not the customer service I'd like to see around me. In my opinion, if you want to grow, you should think about your reputation first, not the money, thus 1 star. For example, the company I'm working for have an opposite policy: we treasure our users, grant them free days when there's an argue and refund when necessary, so it's so unusual for me to see that some other company acts differently.
UPD: A representative of Brainety commented my review and asked to write to their support and provide a few details about the order. I did that, and they have refunded me the money! Thank you, Brainety! I hope you'll update your company support guidelines and start getting more positive feedback. As to me, I'm updating the rating as well to be fair.

You pay $9.90 to see the IQ results but the report and the questions are flawed in many ways. This is not scientific or well made. There are some interesting games on the site. Beware of recurring payments or difficulty cancelling membership.

Just like everyone else here I fell victim to their sneaky and underhanded practices. Iwas charged almost $40 after what looked like a one time charge of $1.99. I went back and looked at their site again and in order to find the subscription information (or to even know how much it will be for) you have to literally search around the entire page. I would never have signed up for a subscription to this nonsense and they know. I haven't even used a single service aside from the IQ test I originally took. This is so gross and I'll be posting it everywhere. I have 4 kids and this is an especially tight time for us. I hope you're happy that you're preventing basic items for my children because you won't refund a fraudulent, sneaky purchase. I need that $40 not only for groceries, but it was the extra to try and get my daughter on a field trip. Wow. Just wow. I let my son do one fun freaking thing because it was only $2 and here we are. I don't know what else to say other than I'm crying in frustration.

I initially purchased the basic test and did not want to purchase anything else as I didn't feel it was really an authentic way to measure IQ. I was then charged 9 days later $127 for a subscription. I wrote and complained and they said they cancelled future payments (I had already done this through PayPal) but refused to refund my $127 payment that was automatically deducted from PayPal. I am currently in dispute with them and will warn others if I see them advertising on Facebook.
UPDATE March 2023 - I emailed them and advised I would be publishing my review on sites I found where they advertised which I did and also gave them this link with a few examples of other complaints. Guess what - I received my refund. I suggest strongly don't ever accept unauthorised charges. I didn't and got my money back. They are depending on people finding it too much of a hassle to enter into a dispute and so they get away with it. FIGHT BACK.

And before I knew it, I had authorized an automatic payment of 79.8 US dollars.
PayPal only unilaterally notified me that I was not eligible for a refund.

Updated. After reviewing on several other websites including trust pilot. I finally did get a refund, so I do thank them for that. I feel like the wording on their site and sign up definitely needs to be updated. So I got a refund and an apology, good luck to anyone else that has been wrongly charged for something other than the test they tried to pay for.
I was one of the ones duped into paying for the test, and then charged for a year that I was unaware of, and yes I looked over the site before I put my money in. It was an unauthorized charge, I was happy to pay for the test but not a years worth of games I didn't want. It put my account into overdraft and of course they refused refund. It's ridiculous and I do not recommend at all.

They let you take the test and waste about 10 or so or minutes or however long it takes you of your time, then charge you at the end to see your result. Dont be fooled by this scam. This should be frowned upon that websites are even allowed to do this.

Should have read the reviews before attempting an IQ test... Asked for 2,18.€ for the test which was paid and than a week later deducted 38€ for subscription which I have never wanted or needed and thus not even used. Absolutely nowhere in the emails does it ask for confirming a subscription or setting a direct debit... I am surprised that a company can continue to cheat so many customers and still be in business! They Should ne banned from market and be sued!

I can't recall being shown an option to agree to a subscription after taking the initial IQ test which was soo basic it simply was not worth it. A week later an annual charge was applied to my bank. I questioned this and asked for a refund. Their answer was to agree to a cancellation of the service but T& Cs made it impossible to offer any reimbursement so I paid in full for something I will never use. A clear way of taking money from someone. They should be investigated.

A few weeks ago, i paid $9 for an iq test, opting out of all extra services (i just wanted to do the test, no subscription)
They forced a $70 subscription on me, i have emailed multiple times to have it cancelled. When my bank declined the first charge, i tried going online to cancel it. Lo and behold, there is no account or subscription found with my email. I made an account just to cancel the subscription, but there is no easy cancellation. I emailed asking for my subscription to be cancelled, never heard back. I tried calling the phone number given on the site for support- and it only tells you to email them with questions! And then they took another $70 from me today! I have not used any of the services, and i want to let everyone know that this is a scam! There is no simple way to cancel your account and anyone saying support is helpful is dishonest- there is no support!

Their "certificate" isn't worth the paper it is printed on, this is just a money making scam. Firstly, proper IQ tests are more than just a series of spatial awareness tests which is all the test here is. Secondly, IQ is always normalised against age, at no point was age even mentioned. I would have given a zero star but unfortunately 1* is the lowest you can give.
