I just engaged them to buy MLB tickets. The purchase was complete and the confirmation arrived in my in box. Sometime later that day, I received another email saying that the tickets aren't available after all! This is despite all their guarantees, blah, blah, blah. Read other reviews as well. I will never use BoxOffice again! I went to StubHub and got tickets at a better price with no hassle.
The number *******540 for Box Office Ticket Sales, has a male that answered the phone represented himself as the manager. If that is true, as he (Josh) states he reports to no one. It is sad and the worst excuse of someone in the customer service area. Josh needs home training and should work in a factory away from people. It is sad because the young man that actually booked my tickets was pleasant and professional. After I hung up and had another question I called back and spoke with a male that said his name was Josh. I recommend if Josh actually runs this company I will never do business with them again and will encourage friends not to as well.
My wife bought 10 tickets for a theater performance, and her credit card was charged $1885,18, Box Office did not send tickets by email as promised. She contacted the theater and was told that there were, in fact, 10 tickets waiting. She made will call arrangements, but when she picked up the tickets, their face value was $89.50 apiece, and they were for balcony seats, not main floor as BO had represented. She is trying to get a refund through her bank/credit card, but is getting no cooperation from Box Office Ticket Sales. Our next step is to file a complaint with the Consumer Fraud Division of the state Attorney General's Office.
I have cancer and recently lost my ability to walk due to the side effects of my immunotherapy treatment. I spoke with your company, hoping we could sit in the handicapped area now that I am in a wheelchair. Your employee was very rude and only repeated rules like a robot. She acted very annoyed by my phone call in the 1st place. We will never be purchasing tickets from your company again.
This place is horrible, 643.00 and 4 days to get me my tickets and I'm 30 minutes from the doors opening and no tickets and all they say is please be patient, but they will continue to send you advertisements for other events that I would never buy tickets to from this site
They misled us to believe they were the legit box office and not the scalper scum that they truly are. Charged us $300 for $90 tickets. The best seats offered are only $290 and we got stuck in the nose bleed section. I get paying more if the show is sold out but there were still better seats available for less money at the start of the show. Stay away
Bought tickets 2 weeks prior, was told I'd have them 24 hours in advance. Was on hold for an hour and a half 3 hours before showtime when someone assured me I'd have the 4 tickets prior to showtime. 5 mins before showtime I received only 2 tickets, had to purchase 2 more at the box office. Can't wait to see how this refund experience pans out! And now this site wants me to open a third account just to warn people!
We purchased tix for event in Nashville, the seller shipped them to NY! Hours spent on email, because their phone never worked, got nothing accomplished they were supposed to have them reverted to Nashville. We are praying we can get some resolution at the actual box office of the venue.
My husband and I bought tickets for a concert from this reseller and not Ticketmaster directly. We arrived at the venue and before we got to our seats my husband had a medical emergency and was transported by ambulance to the closest emergency room where he was treated. We never saw the concert. The venues administration checked with Ticketmaster, and since we bought from a reseller there was nothing they could do to refund. We contacted the reseller with no luck of refund. I know it was our choice to purchase from a reseller, but hoped they would be more understanding and compassionate of a emergency situation, with documentation. They were not! All sales final and no refund. It's all about the almighty dollar We won't do that again and just wanted to warn others of this.
Don't buy tickets from this website. They will take your money and you don't get the ticket! They refund, but it takes over a week, so you are screwed on getting another ticket, because they only available are the more expensive one. Their customer service is only available after 10am. I did chat and phone calls to verify my tickets and they keep saying yes your ticket is guaranteed you will get it. Then at the last moment they said we could not secure your ticket.
Boxofficeticketsales.com is a 100% fraudulent operation. As you can read at multiple sites such as sitejabber.com, they have an approval rating of 1.08 out of 5. The only reason it is that high is because you can't rate them as a zero and complete a review. They have owed us $1,600 for a cancelled Come From Away musical in Phoenix, AZ, since May 21,2020. They refuse to refund the money saying "they will refund the money in 30-60 business days or in the future when the concert going scene heats up." But they do not refund the money. They do, however, threaten us and say that if we file a complaint with anyone, our request for a refund will go to the bottom of thousands of refund requests.
I purchased tickets in 12/2/19 then COVID hit and my concert was post postponed which I was fine with happening. The problem was that box office tickets transferred my tickets to another franchise for me to gain access for those tickets and I never was updated on this transfer. The date got changed again. Now coming down to the last 2 weeks before the concert and still unable to get access to my actual tickets that were supposedly transferred 2 years ago. Trying to get a hold of a person at box office to help with the problem is a nightmare. They are great at taking your money but then not following through.
I bought tickes for an NBA game. The cost was 3 times the price of the tickets. Dont buy from them. They are thieves. They tell you the price might be higher but three times is too much. I would have bought on a better area for less. My mistake cost me 1400 bucks.
Don't bother with Box Office Ticket Sales at +1 *******171. I called to buy tickets and had one question first. The person was so rude and told me to call back when I was ready to purchase and hung up on me. I will NEVER use this ticket service. I would give them a zero if I could.
I made the mistake of using this service and now paying the price of not going directly to the venue site. Now I'm stuck with poor seats and can't resale. Also poor customer service as they directed me to read the fine print. My bad but never again use these guys.
After event cancelled, no refund happened after 40 business days. They asked for 30. A call was made and I was told it was now 60 business days. I would get an email about that. There was no email. This group has lost any credibility. As pretty much everyone else says.
Bought tickets for Book of Mormon and was promised email delivery the next day. After that time passed, I called and they told me tickets would be delivered 48 hours before the event. That did not happen so I called again and I was told that it would be that tickets would be delivered six hours before the event which is the industry standard. I did verify that with another box office in town. It is the day of the event and six hours before no tickets had arrived. I had to call and someone was very nice and said my tickets would come in 15 minutes. They did. I hope they are valid tickets. This whole thing has been a nightmare and I would never buy from them. I will not see the face value of the ticket since it's email but will ask some of the neighbors that we are sitting there. There was a service charge of $60 on this truck on this purchase. The whole experience has been very uncomfortable and has ruined what should be a fun event.
Just as everyone is saying! We had a concert in March that got canceled due to Covid-19. I have called about 5-6 times being told the same thing every time. "60 business days and email has been sent" I have never received an email (other than my tickets upon purchase) and every time I call after the 60 days they say it will be another 60 days.
I asked to speak with a supervisor. And he said you will get me 5 days a week and he was the only person I could talk to.

DO NOT PURCHASE. They make it seem that they are an authentic seller but they are a reseller that sells for tripple the price. I got sold 50 $ tickets for 200$ each. Hidden fees, charge in foreign currency. Customer service does nothing to help. They wont even send the tickets until 2 days before the event. Warn all your family and friends.
I purchased 2 tickets for" Hamilton" which cost over $400 which I never received. It was so upsetting and we had to purchase another set of tickets just so we can see the play.We traveled over 3 hours and spend money on a hotel as well all the texts, phone call were only recordings came on. After we came home and contacted them they e-mailed the supposed tranfer of the tickets which we did not receive. I am wondering why this e-mail showed up but not the first one? Buyer be aware when thinking about buying from this company. I learned my lesson after loosing over $400.
Answer: I haven't received a refund for tickets I bought for my 5 year old to see Jojo siwa in 2019 and told me I don't use the money within a year towards something else I loose it. I didn't get that until 2021 March and they still were limiting and canceling things cause of COVID. Worst place ever
