I made the mistake of switching from cricket to boost because my phone service with cricket wasnt great. My experience since switching has been an utter nightmare. The service has been horrific I rarely get texts or incoming calls. Most days i have to switch my phone off and on again just so calls will go through and even still people say i constantly cut out or sound like im underwater. Calls are dropped daily. Wifi connection is spotty. And I even bought a brand new phone and the problem is still on going. I have been into the store about six times and they tell me to call customer service because they dont know what the problem is. I have called numerous times they go through troubleshooting steps which i have already done and then say they will have someone fix my account which never happens or they have no idea what to tell me and send me back to the store. Also i have mentioned i have the affordable connectivity plan but boost is rejecting my application even though i have qualified for the benefit...and again they just send me in circles trying to figure out an answer bymyself.
I have been with boost for more that 5 years I had my number for 26 years until boost. They sell a Samsung phone in the hood that is normally the only on available they know it is highly hack able but they don't tell u that until u have a problem. They are quick to collect your payment but tell u they can not help you when you have a problem. At 945 at night boost sent me a text that changed my phone number. They turned off my service. No store is open that time of night. I went in that Monday every sense I have not had service I had just bout that phone. When I talked to customer service they told me I didn't have an account with them since 2018 but I have paid them every month including this month I am on day 10 of no service. I have talked to 43 people I have spent 37 hours on the phone I have a case number I was told to call back ask for a supervisor give them the case number and they would help me. Nothing they hà ve told me has been true. I still do not have the service I paid for. Today they told me to go to my bank and take back the payment. All I want is the service I paid for and the number I have had for 26 years. Today I have been on the phone for 3 more hours while I'm on hold the system came on said they where having system problems and to try back again later. So now 40 hrs in no help. Don't be me don't do boost if u value your information and your phone number. Go else where u will be mad and disappointed.
My boost up was done 4/26 and they are still charging me the boost up 3 months later and refusing to refund me my money at this point I am seeking a lawyer because that is stealing my money

I am a long time Boost customer. But we are currently in the process of switching all our accounts elsewhere. We've had the family plan with 5 lines for 20+years. For most of that time we were pleased with our service. However in the past year or more Customer Service has greatly declined. I do not feel like a valued customer of 20+ years at all! More like serverly disrespected and taken advantage of. We've had two different real issues in the last few months and both times we were made to feel like they didn't care and we could either put up with it or go somewhere else. No regard for our problem and no desire to help. I was also denied the opportunity to speak with a supervisor when I asked. Cs representatives would not give proper names or identification numbers so that I could document who I spoke with. Would not provide info to get in touch with thier corporate office when asked. They even cut my phone off out of spite! Unbelievable! I will not ever recommend Boost to another person and I use to be one of their biggest fans. Because of the price and service but the customer service has dramatically declined! Stay away, avoid the headache, Go somewhere else that cares about their customers. They also use a third party to handle the insurance claims and that process is a joke!
Since the swap from sprint to t-mobile this company has given me nothing from problems while the workers within the stores are polite cheerful an a delight to encounter especially the ladies of Mt cross danville store the service itself is my issue the company is a headache I've had boost for years always happy with my service but since the exchange from company to company the service has plummeted I just got off the phone with tech support an the issue was not resolved claimed I had used ALL my HOTSPOT data without turning it on after 2 hrs after I paid my phone bill not possible but the service is just a waste of time now as much as I hate to do this I will be changing my service providers to a more credible company ending my 4 yr contract with boost

I purchased a new phone directly from Boost. After going to a store location and spending 2 hours there AND calling customer service 4 times over a 3 week period. They tell me my phone can not be activated. And they refuse to take the return.
Each time I spoke to a representative they tell me they are sending the issue to "escalations". I have NOT received any communications from such a department. Who knows if "escalations" really exist.

Been with Boost Mobile for 2 years. I have the family plan with 3 phones. I paid my bill on Sunday and they shut 1 phone if for non payment! Spoke with some and they moved the phone to a new network and want me to pay more money to get the phone on. They are THIEF'S and want to steal your money because they are slow and do not know how to connect their computer systems to show who paid. WHY WOULD THEY MOVE ONE PHONE AND NOT THE OTHERS. SLOW $#*! PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE!
My 97-year-old's mother lives in an assisted living. The only phone calls she makes are to me her only daughter and occasionally a nephew. She doesn't know how to text message. Without warning her account was canceled. It had nothing to do with payment because she has automatic withdrawals. After doing a lot of digging I found out that she was accused of traffic pumping. I've Googled it and read it but I still don't really understand what it is. I checked her telephone just to make sure that it wasn't sitting in her purse bumping against something making repeated phone calls but no. They were very few calls on her phone history. I wrote to the appropriate Department and they were really not interested in investigating to get to the bottom of what actually is going on. I can only imagine that someone has hacked her phone number or they are making some kind of mistake. So I will have to change companies. They are unhelpful and accusatory and there are much better Bargains out there anyway.

I think the reps didn't want to deal with the issue and hung up on purpose cause they didn't know how to fix the issue. (I was getting text msgs on my new and old phone) They removed my son from my plan and reported my phone lost although I did not call for them to do any of that maintenance. They don't listen! Then to call back AGAIN after my sons phone was turned off and wait 45mins to be hung up AGAIN was so fusterating! And they charge you $25 just to swap phones at a store. I usually would do myself online but my new phone that I bought from boost mobile online wasn't working! I'm definitely looking into switching carriers.

I signed up and paid on-line for 2 phone lines and set up auto pay for the $25 monthly unlimited plan. I then went to the store to get the phones and paid another $245 which included activation, taxes and 1st month service. After about 27 days, the phone service quit working. I logged on to my account and confirmed the next months payment had been paid, then I went to the Boost store and spent 2 hours for them to say they are having issues with the network and to give it 24 hours to get resolved. After 48 hours, still no service so I went back to the store and after another hour, I was told that I needed to make another payment. I went on-line and paid another $60 in desperation to try to have service! Still, NO SERVICE. I called customer service and they said that I would need to pay another $54 in addition to the $85 I already paid for the month! So I am into this almost $400 for 27 days of service and they want more money! I am now trying to get the phones unlocked so I can get service with a new provider. After 1 hour and 40 minutes on hold for a supervisor, a voice came on the line and said "please call again later" UGH!
I came to the boost Mobile store on the 22nd of May 2022 in Gainesville next to the mall I got a phone and he turned it on I told him that I use the phone to do door dash my other phone is broken and I'm waiting for it to get replaced by the insurance and I needed a phone for about 2 weeks he turned the service on 5 days later they turned my service off saying that I'm running out of data y'all need to get people that know what they're doing because you just lost another customer after this is done I'm going to Metro way better

I use to go into a particular Boost Mobile in Elyria OH because the agents there was very knowledgeable and very helpful. These guys were sharp. Glad to go there. Now I am seriously thinking about changing my phone service. All the Boost Mobile stores have gotten rid of the sales men that cared and tried to help people out... and replace them with guys that pretend they can't understand what you are saying and don't care about helping and CANT help you. I mean it's disgusting when you go into Boost Mobile store and these guys can't tell you ANYTHING about your phone that you didn't know. As a matter of fact you end up telling them the features while they stand there looking like they were lost in a storm. I mean none of them can help you.
