DONT BOOK WITH THIS BOOKING SITE! THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SITE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. THEY ARE FRAUDS, TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THIEVES! WE WERE COMPLETELY SCAMMED. We booked a place we thought was decent due to the photos are 10/10 hotel. We get to the accomodation, it was in the building next door and was a complete junkie house. Think of a $#*!ty apartment block, that what it was. It smelt like cigarettes, piss on the floor, hair on the bed and in the sink. Beer cans were everywhere in the building block. We went straight to the hotel desk and they offered a refund for the false advertising. It was 10pm at night in Melbourne and we had no where to go. The actual accomodation staff was very nice and very cooperative. However, to get the refund would be through bookings.com. Two weeks now we have called everyday, every-worker telling us a new excuse for not receiving the refund. When we proved them wrong multiple times with even the hotel on the other line confirming a refund, bookings.com would shut the call in our face. We don't have much money and just wanted to book a cute getaway for me and my partner to now be completely scammed of our money with no way to get the refund. I am so disgusted with the workers who don't even want to listen or understand our situation but instead are complete robots who just say word to word the same $#*! every-time. $#*!ing disgusting business and I pray no one else books through them or gets scammed either because its heartbreaking to have your money completely taken from you. To bookings.com you are a $#*!ing disgusting and horrible business who should feel guilty. You guys are a complete scam and will be taking this further.
I have never had a problem with booking.com until today. Usually I have good experiences but not today. On the site it said to pay a certain amount today to book and pay the rest at the property. Well instead of them taking that portion they took the entire amount out of my account. It was not worded like this on the site because like I said I always pay the rest at the property. I called them and no one could help me with this and the agent hung up on me. I am very disappointed. I will never use booking.com again. I will find another company. This is not far to tell someone one price but charge them the full amount when you book.
For a funeral I wanted to go from Chili, Punta Arenas to Europe, the Netherlands.

Chasing a refund their auto system advised is coming. 50 emails over 3 weeks still nothing from customer service. Total shocking poor bad service. Take a risk if u book with these booking.com anything goes wrong expect no support. Its really really bad.

Never trust Booking.com it will ruin your journey like they did mine. They will send the wrong reservation to the hotels after they will leave to deal with hotels when it's their own fault and they will never response to your emails. I paid for a specific view at one hotel I flew all the way to the side of the world, booking.com sent the wrong reservation to the hotel when I tried calling booking.com using roam they refused to worth out their mistake instead told me to deal with the hotel receptionist. Not only that they ruined my whole trip not getting the room that I paid they completely ignored all my emails. Such a poor customer service and I felt booking.com is scam website! I will never book thru them every again.
DO NOT USE! TERRIBLE! My wife and I purchased our airline tickets from Booking.com and right before the trip I caught COVID. Booking.com told us we could rebook within the year and use our credits. We tried rebooking by calling their customer service as requested and we're never able to rebook. The Indian customer service Booking.com has outsourced to is TERRIBLE. SO INCOMPETENT! We tried multiple times and each time they would tell us that the issue has been forwarded and we should wait for a call back. Guess what? No call back ever. For weeks we tried resolving this issue, rebooking another flight, but each time they have an excuse and are unable to get us what we paid for. We tried going through to our credit card company, but they denied our request for credit card dispute. This is so terrible that Booking.com places ads all over the place and makes it seem like a great place to purchase your plane tickets, but when you need them they just throw you to some stupid call center in India where they don't help at all. It's so crazy and sad that a corporation like this can steal a customer's money and have no recourse. Please save yourself the stress and don't use them. Booking.yeah, more like Booking.yeahright. We love to take your money and not help you at all if there's any issues. Such BS.

I always used booking. They booked me and took payment. The hotel called and said they were full and did not take my.money. I called booking and they had my money and refused to put the money towards another reservation even though they booked.me at a full hotel with no vacancy. They said they processed my refund wait 7 to 12 business days. I had to pay again for another hotel. I wait 14 business days no refund. I call back. They never processed my refund said I have to wait for senior authority and then wait another up to 12 days. I'll never use them again.
You have to all a UK number (there are not local country toll free numbers) and be put on hold for several minutes to cancel a flight. While booking.com has been good for some hotel booking and certain flights, it turns into a big hassle once you want to cancel/modify your flight bookings.
They say it's the hotel that they are merely a booking forum. Yet, there are many numbers of people who testify their money was taken unfairly. Don't use this booking format.

Took up offer of free transfer from Nairobi Airport for my daughter travelling to Africa for the first time. Ignored email evidence of confirmation of reservation sent by them. Claimed no record of it. No interest whatsoever in looking into it. Redirected me to taxi customer service whose email box was full of other people's complaints as my email was undeliverable because their email box was full.

I stayed at the Radisson blue in London and experienced such excellent and exceptional service from Elvis at the front desk. Though my flight came in early and the check in was at 3pm, Elvis was understanding, friendly and compassionate. He ensued a room was available right away. He also inquired about anything else I needed. Each time I passed through the reception area, he always made eye contact and waved no matter how busy he was. He was very helpful with exceptional knowledge of the area and sites that may be of interest to me. I am beyond grateful for the extra human touch provided by this agent. When you visit this hotel, make sure you ask for Elvis. He will certainly add a great spice to your time!
Their site stated that you could reserve a property with zero down and zero cancellation fees and this was not the case. I reserved one property and decided on another based on distance to the beach. The second property was already booked and my payment was never processed through the rental management company but was processed by bookings.com. BTW, it shows up as Meredith Lodgin not bookings.com and the customer service for bookings.com pull the BS of saying oh you don't have any charges by bookings.com when they know it will not show up like that on your statement. I was charged almost $400. The first property that should have never been charged because I cancelled in time was charged $467 by bookings.com. To correct this you have to send them proof they charged you like a screenshot of your bank statement WHEN THEY CAN SEE THEY CHARGED YOU! Absolute fraud!

Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.
