Had a trip this weekend Booked by this company, the hotel canceled my res. When I arrived at 10PM. Strange city, alone in the dark had no idea where to get another room. After flying all afternoon. I finally found a roof, paid cash now I discover they sold the booking to PRICELINE. No record on Booking.com even though on my print out itinerary it clearly say Booking.com. Now Priceline is dragging their feet with a refund and compensation. NEVER USE EITHER, these are scam artists for lazy people. I will be shocked to receive anything back. So sorry I fell for it.
I booked a hotel room with the wrong dates. Minutes later I noticed the problem. I saw that there was free cancellation so I tried to cancel and rebook. The site said no vacancies on my new dates. So I was stuck. Then went on again and noticed the same room was a higher price and it was indeed still available. What a waste!

We will never use Booking.com again. We would recommend them. Had to cancel our trip due to an unexpected death in the family; we ended up losing over $600. The company didn't even help us recover our losses. Tried rebooking but the dates that we could reschedule were not available, therefore, causing us to cancel. Lesson well learned, never again!

Not even worth one star! Shocking service. Was informed on the day of travel that they had double booked my apartment even though I booked 8 months in advance! The moron that took my call did nothing by "hum" a tune while I was in the line which further infuriated me. A cowboy company…nothing more!
Booked a hotel room through booking.com and needed a handicap accessible room. The booking clearly show's an accessible room was available so I paid for the reservation for a handicap accessible room. When we got to the hotel and they inform me that they have no such rooms and says he would add comments showing the booking was not customer fault. He said to contact the agent at booking.com to cancel that they would give me my money back. Contacted booking. Com and they tell me no they will not refund my money say they spoke with hotel an there was no issue with customers room.
So I'm heading back to the hotel once again to try to resolve thus issue. Hope things go as planned. If not.

I booked a get away and not only was they trying to tax me twice. One of the customer care lady's refused to give me her first name. I own a business and I'll never use this site again. The lady I spoke with needs fired and find a different job. Customer care is supposed to help you and get the problem figured out. Unfortunately this lady refused to give me her name and refused to let me talk to a manager. For one you can't take ppl twice it's against the law. Owning a business I know that. 2 we drove almost 4 hrs to no reservation to our destination. I will tell you know use a different site other then booking com they are crooks and that's why there a 1.4 rated business. They don't deserve a star in my opinion. This company is sad and they need to get there $#*! together before they go belly up.
Booked an apartment for 5 people and turns out people live there, was far away from home aswell, was messed around for 3 hours telling they would sort us out but never did.
In Europe very confusing and inaccurate descriptions of rentals. Virtually impossible to communicate with Booking.com or rented facility. Rental units found to be shoddy and of lower level accommodations. In Florida, dirty, lacking all normal hotel amenities and not as described. Very disappointing in all aspects. Would not recommend or use this site again.
I lost a little over $500 using Booking.com because they would not give me my refund. I had all the confirmation numbers, and the people I talked to. I reported them to the BBB and they answered with the same generic answer and no resolution. So use them at your own risk

Paid for booking, and was cancelled immediately, and booking.com refused to reimburse the charge, I have called about 10 times, each time they tell me something different and the customer service doesn't seem to understand what's going on, still have not been refunded. Never book through this company.

They've canceled my reservation because they couldn't charge my debit card but they were able to apply new fees to my debit card. In the same day.
I've used them a few times but it's a shot in the dark every time. I should have learned the first time they screwed me over, but I didn't. Just recently booked a room. Selected the dates and boom, done. Super easy right? Wrong. When the confirmation email came through it was the wrong dates by a long shot. Tried to get a refund, nope. Had to dispute it with my card company.

I requested a car from DAL (Dallas Love) and it showed that when I clicked submit. When I got my rental voucher, it was for DFW! I am not flying into DFW, how is that helpful!

Never received a confirmation number. Returned an email promising a confirmation in 24 hours. After this. I sent 7 emails requesting a cancelation. Could not use the phone number for customer service because the required reservation number was supposed to be in the email that never arrived. Not sure how they are allowed to operate still. Totally illegitimate
Booked a preset tent through booking.com, 5 days props to the trip. The same day I found the actual site for the preset tents, which were almost $20 less per night for the same exact accommodation. I immediately reached out to booking.com who delayed response, until after my trip was over. Went back and forth with them for the entire trip, provided all information only for them to delay until my trip was over then claim that as the reason they would not honor their own policy.
Answer: In my case they took my payment information and paid the hotel where I was going to be staying. Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.

When you check into your hotel, it's billed to your Bookings.com reservation plus incidentals (local calls, parking fees, resort fees, dining, bar fees, Europe charges local or city tax, spa fees...) the hotel will ask for a card as a hold for these fees. Use bookings.com, find the hotel you wish to stay in (get all info and contact them directly via website and price match) the Marriott in Rome had a room for $80.00 less on the Marriott website than these, so called MONEY SAVING SITES.
