Unhelpful customer service. Bol.com does not take responsibility for the service they provide and blame it on their partners. Will not be using the platform anymore and will instead exclusively use Amazon or order directly from bol.com's partners' website.
Bol.com wants to scam me. I paid nicely. But after 2 weeks they say I didn't pay anything. I have sent a screenshot of my bank account and also an official bank statement, but they still won't accept it. And they threatened me with the collection agency. I will definitely not pay twice! Everything goes to court. I'm going to make a youtube video of this case. They always say, "You will be contacted as soon as possible.", but they don't do anything at all. They are dirty scammers! Bol paid the item back but because now 40 more expensive, they gave the extra money too, without any requested. You always be a good seller platform but to give this kind of service is TOP 10/10
In December 2019 I ordered a USB cable that happened to be out of stock. The money was taken from my account. I canceled the order after a week of two, but it is already three months that Bol.com cannot return the money. All my chats/calls/emails to their Customer Service end up with their phrase - "Oh, that is different department, we will check what is going on" and then SILENCE. No more Bol.com for me! There are a lot of other better organized web shops.
Ordered a new dishwasher. The deliverers dumped it in the kitchen and were gone before I knew it. They didn't take back the old machine which was standing to be picked up as promised. After that I called customer service and they were just rude and hang up the phone more than once.
Bought 2 times shoewares which I did not receive and contacted bol.com several times, but their chat service which is automated is designed to convince you to drop your complaints. Only when using key words like "scam", "swindler" 'legal", "prosecution" will they have real persons to respond. Their whole strategy is not be honest, but to avoid being prosecuted. There is only one word: crooks. When reading some review here, they are obviously written by their staff. This company should be closed by law.
Bought expensive 3M mouth masks, only received generic off-brand ones. The exact same thing happened to friends ordering from the same seller. Complained to bol.com but only got generic answers, their site doesn't seem to offer any way to dispute these scams. They also conveniently don't publish bad reviews.
I bought a product in Bol.com and I was supposed to receive it in 2 days but it's been 3 weeks now and I still didn't receive the product. I contacted the customer care twice to cancel my order but both the times they said they cannot cancel my order with different reasons and they were also rude. It is really frustrating when you are not given value as a customer. They say that they have to check with their seller but I bought it with Bol.com(their customer not the seller's customer) and when I ask them to cancel it they have to cancel it and not check with the seller if they can cancel it. It's the headache of Bol.com and their seller to settle it among themselves.
I was repeatedly asked to recharge my account. I signed up as a part time job were I had to crab 50 retail line a day to promote the brand awareness. But I kept getting messages to verify my account because of management fraud. I did this once at a cost $100. Then a few days later I was asked to pay $575 to cover taxes in my account. I refused saying you only pay tax once you withdraw your money. Then on the 7th July 2022 my account was closed along with over $3000. I can't get onto my account, the mangers, helpline and support staff have stopped replying... how done get jy investment back?
I was ordering a ssd drive and the price was at 208€ then when i went to pay it had increased to 214€. I had several items in the basket so if i had not verified it would not have noticed.
I will never use BOL.COM again!
This is a Dutch online warehouse. Price wise it's pretty reasonable though it is definately not always the cheapest place to shop. Out of the dozens of orders I have made through Bol.Com all of them have always arrived, and though it does happen occationally a product is delivered late, it is never late by an exorbitant amount.
Their customer service is responsive and thinks with you to solve problems when there are problems with your orders or the products you buy break within it's warranty.
Returning your items is also free, which is a big upside over some other companies.
Tl; Dr: Trustable online warehouse, has it's up and downsides but generally pretty good.

Bol.com scammed out of 750,000 euros
Online retailer Bol.com deposited almost 750,000 euros in a fraudulent bank account over a year ago, when the company believed they were transferring money to household goods manufacturer, Brabantia. A court in Utrecht ruled on a lawsuit brought by Brabantia against Bol.com for nonpayment, and determined that Bol was at fault, and ordered the retailer to pay the money again this time to the correct account.
In November 2019, Bol received a short email written in Dutch that the court noted was filled with grammatical errors and typos. The message was supposedly from Brabantia, using the company logo, and stated that the Dutch firm wanted to collect the money using an account in Spain. Employees at Bol fell for the trick and transferred the total amount of 745,624 euros to the scammers.
Bol is a seller you can trust. I made my shopping here several times. They always deliver on time and the products are exactly as described. Once I had a missing item in my delivery and they fixed the problem 5 minutes after I contacted them.
Stay away from this mess of a company. I ordered an htc one mini and my account shows I did. Then was informed because of a computer glitch, my order was not ordered, even though they worked well enough to get my money out of my bank account. Spent 15 euros on the phone and was informed my money would be returned to my bank account within 14 days... eventhough they had the product. Asked why then, if you have my money and you know what I ordered, then combined those two facts and send the phone. I guess that makes to much sense for this ridiculous company. I will never use this company for anything, and I warn you if you don't want an additional headache in your life, to stay far away from this place.
I had a complaint, because the delivery did not take place at my home address.
As the delivery firm did not find me at home, they delivered in a tank station with whom they are cooperation. But that was not mentioned on the not they left me.
I took me 25 minutes to get them on the phone.
So I complained to bol.com about this.
They excuses (it was not really there fault) and gave me a serious discount on my next purchase. And this only took one mail and not even one day.

I ordered twice! I received wrong item once and they never replaced it and 2nd time they sent me a fake item in the place of 160€ item i ordered.
On January 14th we ordered a pair of shoes, and cancelled them. We also noticed that a "Subscription" was in the cart and we have no idea how it got there. We were first time customers and do not speak Dutch, and had to translate the website. Before contacting the agents, we tried to cancel this ourselves, via the website, but when we logged in, there was no way to cancel this either! Bol agents via FB claimed it was cancelled several times before the 30 days. Finally, we find out that while they cancelled the order, we were still forced to pay for the subscription, which we never ordered, nor intended to order, and we still continued to get a bill for something that was CANCELLED THE SAME DAY. How do you bill someone for something that was cancelled? So, we continued contacting them by email and FB chat, and they kept telling us the problem was resolved. But it was never resolved, because we then get another bill for 17 euros (which included late fees for a $9.99 subscription) and still no way to cancel the subscription, they threatened to send us to collections if this was not paid. WE have the chat, emails, and all communications, showing from day one we wanted it cancelled. They still refused to wipe the amount from our account. We filed a fraud charge, and it was accepted and we plan to follow this through to the fullest extent. We have now paid for something we never ordered, WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN. Also, they admitted it was a mistake, and said they would refund us only to tell us they would not.

Extreem teleurgesteld. Ik heb te lang op mijn bestelling gewacht en kreeg een boek vol vuil aan alle 3 de zijden op de bovenste pagina's, modder of zoiets. Ik betaalde 80 euro. Ik zal het boek terugsturen. Wacht op mijn andere bestelling die sinds december in de rij staat en zeg mijn bol-account op en kom nooit meer terug. Ik zal bij amazon bestellen. Slechte ervaring met jullie bol platform. Verdrietig. Ik heb enorme bedragen betaald. Ik heb geen 10 euro nodig. Respecteer uw bevelen en verwacht niet voor slijk dan 80 euro om boeken te accepteren die eruit zien als tweede en uit de modder gehaald. Nou, ik zal terugkeren en binnenkort uit als je platform
