Not worth it. Order took about four weeks to ship. Sent me item in wrong size. I sent e-mail to customer service twice. Never received any response. I have to keep something I cannot use due to someone's error. Not really a deal. I know I can do a lot better elsewhere and will not order from Totsy again. Seriously- don't waste your time.
After placing my order Sep 10th I was told today it would finally be shipping in 2 days which means sometime around Oct 15th or Oct 16th. I was told it would ship over 2 weeks ago. After all this waiting for my children's Halloween costumes I was told one had to be cancelled. I am very angry and I am now scrabbling around trying to find a replacement. If you need something for a holiday or it is time sensitive do not order from Totsy. I would never recommend them to anyone but if you must use them just heed my warning about the time. The shipping is terrible.
I ordered a Halloween costume on Sept 10th with an estimated ship date of October 2nd. I called on October 11th as my order status was still pending. I was told that I would never receive my order; that their vendor wasn't calling them back so no costume. What a joke! They never contacted me to notify me and now I have to scramble to find a costume. They offered me no options, just a credit so that I could order some more stuff and maybe get it or maybe not. NEVER order from them!
I have been waiting for over a month for my baby clothes... by the time they get here they won't fit her :( they have not responded to any of my emails! Never ordering from them again! Don't shop this site!
I placed an order with Totsy for the first time and got an order confirmation quickly. Three weeks later, however, I still had not heard anything about when the item was or would be shipped. I decidedyo email the company to ask when I might be able to expect my order. In reply I got an automated email two days later saying everything I ordered except one pair of shoes was now out of stock! Annoyed, because this wouldn't have been an issue had they processed the order when I placed it, I made a mental not to check to make sure my credit card had been refunded the cost of the items they no longer had. Before I got a chance to, however, I got another automated email stating my credit card could not be processed. That's when I realized, we had had the card stolen a week before hand and had needed to get a new card issued. But I had placed my order two weeks before the card was stolen. Totsy hadn't processed my order at all!
After reading through these other reviews, I guess I can count myself lucky that I didn't get charged before they sent me nothing.
PAY ATTENTION PEOPLE! I have read through all of the reviews on this page and have noticed that most of the complaints are stemming from people saying it takes way too long to recieve their order. Next time, pay better attention to what the site is specifying! It clearly states several times that your order will not be shipped for up to 2 weeks AFTER the sale ends! It even gives you an estimated ship/arrival date during the checkout process as well. It just irritates me that people are giving totsy.com a low rating because they were oblivious to the specifics of the website. With that being said I love totsy.com! The items are super cute and a great deal. I have bought 2 dresses from a blowout sale that were priced at only $12 a peice. Yes it took about 2-3 weeks to get my order but I realized that because I read ALL OF THE DETAILS!. The dresses were super cute and I am extremely happy with them. Plus if you sign up for an account (first time) you recieve free shipping off of your first order. I love this site not only for the really cute products they offer but also because the sales are ever changing!
This is a GOOD idea for a web site, the implementation is just severely lacking. There is NO customer service to speak of. Due to a web site issue where it refreshed itself and repopulated fields with the wrong auto-fill info, my order was going to be sent to the wrong contact information. THE second the order was "placed" and I saw the issue, I emailed the support email. They took their sweet time getting back to me and then the email finally said "too late, the order has already been shipped." After a few emails back and forth, I realize they have no intention of making good on the issue. All they keep saying is "sorry for the inconvenience." From the reviews, it looks like many people have similar issues. Well, my first order will also be my last. Note to totsy: increase support staff and empower them to fix problems!
This was my second and LAST order with Totsy. My first order took a couple weeks to arrive but I did get it no problem so I decided to order again with this company. Big mistake. I ordered 4 pairs of socks - total $4 plus $7.95 shipping. No problem with shipping since it was 4 items. A MONTH later I get an email from them saying 3 were cancelled leaving only 1 pair of socks on order. I sent them an email back stating that I was very disappointed that they inform me of this a month after I ordered and I don't that the shipping charge should be $7.95 for a little pair of ankle socks. No response from the company - instead I get an email notification that the order shipped. They charged me $8.95 for a little pair of socks. I sent them another email and still no response other than a generic we will contact you within 24 hours. Posted on their facebook page only to have my post erased and was banned from posting on their site. Sent another email - still no responses to any of my emails. Have been letting my friends know this too.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME BAD CUSTOMER RELATIONS... I also have ordered several times from Totsy and have been satisfied. My most recent order I received a pair of flats size 9 that smelled like turpentine and was not a true size 9, I know this because I run between an 81/2 and 9 so I ordered the 9 and figured I would put a pad in the shoe if need be to adjust the fit. I could not even get my foot in the shoe and it smelled so bad (I assume the dye the mfgr used). I called Totsy and told them I realize the sales are final but the shoe was not a true size 9 and the smell was overpowering - they didn't give a ----. Too bad. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they put a young snit on the phone. Will never order from them again.
This is my second time ordering from this website and while the deals are great the customer service is lacking behind and do not even get me started on shipping time. The first time i ordered it took me about 3-4 weeks to get my order. The second time i ordered was at the end of July and today is September 5th and i am still waiting on my order. First On the website it said my ship date would be August 20th, abt 3-4 weeks after i placed an order. I thought it was too long but decided to wait anyways. I waited until Aug 24th and send them an e-mail asking where is my order, only then i learned that out of the 2 pairs of shoes i purchased only 1 pair was " ready" to ship and the other was not fulfilled by the manufacturers! I wish they would have told me that from the very begining so i would not be sitting here and waiting on these shoes when they where never even going to ship to me and I STILL HAD TO CALL THEM TO CHECK ON THE STATUS. After that they said ok we will send you the one pair that is still available. This waso n Aug 24th and i am still waiting on my shoes...
Horrible, I ordered shoes for them, the site states they will take a few weeks, the order was June 7, its August and still have not received them, I emailed them and because Its more then 60 days they will not refund my money, so much for customer service, thank GOD I used my American express card! They said they tracked it and it was sent out on June 15 delivered on June 23 but they did not charge my card until June 20, wtf, and tracking # they gave me gives no information? They are all screwed up, I will never order anything from their site, the customer service is what sealed the deal!
I'm done with Totsy. This is the second time that after waiting for 4 weeks to get items they casually send me a note indicating the item is no longer available. I purchased two complementary items this last time and now I only have half of the gift. Great. One would think they can tell you that right away. I'm done. It's too bad as they have nice, cute stuff.
This company is horrible. I placed an order and received an email a month later that said the product that I ordered was no longer in stock. They did not even bother to apologize for taking so long to inform me. I would not advise that anyone purchase anything from this site.
I've only ordered once from them about a week ago. Website states everywhere that orders ship within 10-15 days of sale end. Now, my order is not expected to ship until August. I've read all the horrific reviews and complaints online and on Facebook, and wish I had seen them sooner. Customer service was rude when I asked for a cancellation. Thought I was getting a great deal on some Betsy Johnson sunglasses, but I have no use for them now, as I won't be getting them when I expected to. Stay away from this site and stick with Zulily. Customer service CARES about their customers, and I never have these problems with them. They always let me cancel if their shipping takes longer than expected.

I ordered rainboots and a rainjacket for my son about 3 weeks ago and when I logged into the site my order was still processing, WHAT?! So I asked them to cancel the order after which they changed my order as shipped but with a fake tracking number and said to wait another 10 days and since the order has been "shipped" they cant cancel it. Beyond horrible. I would never order from them again since they lie about shippment and it has been since they charged the credit card but I havent received the item that I cant event track now. Take my word and just buy at another store. You might spend a few dollars more but at least you will get your items.
I love totsy.com. They have very nice deals. I can buy very cute and unique clothes for my baby for very cheap. The quality of everything I've bought so far was always great. Of course, it's a bit annoying that you have to wait for your delivery for about a month but that actually should not come as a surprise to you because they clearly state it on the website. Overall, I really recommend this website! Thank you, Totsy!
When I signed up, they let me enter my Canadian address and I emailed them and they assured me that they ship to Canada. 2 days later I tried to order something and it wouldn't let me enter my Canadian address. When I emailed them about this, they said that they only ship to the United States. I forwarded them the email they sent me stating that they ship to Canada, and I heard nothing back from them. They are a bunch of liars who just want people to sign up to their site so they get more website traffic. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I have first time from this site and I have not received my order yet. It is going to be one month in this weekend. I will definitely not this website in future.
I see many of the reviewers call this a penny auction site, this site is not a penny auction site.
The quality for the some of the products is very good while some of the products is a complete waste of time and money. Watch out for odd brand items. I purchased many items after winning the high bid. Shipping was expensive but delivery was fast and on time. Several large items I purchased were broke, we didn't realize this until after these items were opened at Christmas time. Quality was not there and not as advertised.
I will most likely use the site again for jewelry and art prints (quality was wonderful) I will not use this for anything else again.
I have ordered something. It was supposed to be shipped on april 20.th. Website is not showing tracking number yet (it is april 24th) Contacted them with question where is my order, when it will be shipped - some Diane answered - " sorry, there has been issue with merchandes you order, no longer in stock. "( I have ordered 3 things). If you wouldn't ask they would never bother to tell me that and I could have waited forever. Will see what will happend with cc My friends that I have recomended had simular bad experiences, not getting stuff they ordered, etc. etc. Every company that takes 4-5 or 6 weeks to ship is rather suspicious. I won't be ordering again.
