I trust them.

When I want to something new, I go to this website. There are so much beautiful items here. Prices of items are spectacular and the quality is great. Only one time my purchuase was not so high quality. But I returned this item and I received a refund. It took some time. But customer service was apologize for the error. So I trust them.

Goods were to be sent in 5 to 7 days a month later no goods.
Customer service advised goods would be sent ASAP, this did not happen.
Finally asked for refund took 5 emails before I got a reply.
Did finally get refund.

I have been a customer of Bidz.com for 8 months now. I was never disappointed with the quality of the items I received, although it is true I have not had them appraised. I agree though that the prizes are ridiculously inflated. My rule of thumb: I will not buy if the price is more than 10 to 15% of the advertized original price. One time, I never received my purchases. I had to email a few times before the items were 'declared lost', but on the whole, I was satisfied with the service. My issues are twofold: twice I needed to email them to inquire about the unusual delays in filling the order before shipping the items. In both cases, one simple email prompted them to expedite my order. The other issue is with the shipping. As I live in Canada, I do expect some delays, however, 3 weeks do not seem reasonable to me. I know they are now using another deliver service. Let us hope it is faster.

I am just warning people that if you want to receive your order in a timely fashion (before your kid grows out of that size) and if you want to get a response from their customer service department (which I'm fairly certain is made up of one person) then I wouldn't purchase ANYTHING from Totsy. This is the second time I've had an issue with them. The only way to get a response out of them is to post on their facebook page... and then they get pissed and ask you to contact CS not on facebook. Well if they answered my emails or followed through on their "one day shipping" (not three months later) promise, then maybe I wouldn't be forced to contact them via facebook. My issues with them are too numerous to count. I'm just warning you... go to Zulily.com or Hautelook.com or RueLaLa.com... those sites are much more reliable!

I've ordered at least 5 times from this site already and each time I have received the product I ordered. Yes, the first time, which was about a year ago it took forever and day to get my package, but I noticed especially in my last order that their shipping times are way better. I shop through a lot of private sale websites (I'm dealaholic ;)) and I think that they measure up well to the rest of them, plus they really have good deals and lots to choose from, although I feel that sometimes they repeat their sales, but I guess it's good for those who don't shop as often as I do!

One of my friends told me that she googled them and found some bad comments about the company, but I guess it's normal, when you're happy you have no reason to vent :) So I decided that I would do something nice for them and write a positive review, since I want to be able to continue shopping their deals. So here I am!

Inept or unethical?

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering two jewelry pieces and a serigraph for gifts. The serigraph was supposed to ship in 3 to 5 days; that was two weeks ago and it hasn't been shipped. The two jewelry pieces haven't been shipped either. I called customer service and of course was put on hold -- for a long time. Finally it ended the wait wth a message to leave a message for them and they'd call me. That didn't happen either. I ordered many items from the former version of this company and never had the first problem. This new version reeks of a scam.

I bought a precious wristwatch from this site on April 25th and after about a month I got this watch but unfortunately I discovered several malfunctions at this hour and contacted customer service and asked them to solve this problem and told me they would do it... but with Unfortunately, they did not respond to my many messages. They did not care about solving this problem as they promised me, and I still send them messages, but I do not get any response... Is this company worthy of being dealt with and it does not respect its promises and circumvents customers and does not give them their rights... You will simply lose your money or you will get unsecured goods Use

Well... you get the good and the bad. Their prices are great, but expect to wait a LONG time for the shipment and customer service... well, you have to keep emailing them, BUT you will get quality items for a cheap price. :)

This is a GOOD idea for a web site, the implementation is just severely lacking. There is NO customer service to speak of. Due to a web site issue where it refreshed itself and repopulated fields with the wrong auto-fill info, my order was going to be sent to the wrong contact information. THE second the order was "placed" and I saw the issue, I emailed the support email. They took their sweet time getting back to me and then the email finally said "too late, the order has already been shipped." After a few emails back and forth, I realize they have no intention of making good on the issue. All they keep saying is "sorry for the inconvenience." From the reviews, it looks like many people have similar issues. Well, my first order will also be my last. Note to totsy: increase support staff and empower them to fix problems!

Totsy is the worst!

Totsy is the worst! They advertise great products at great prices and are very quick to debit your account. Months later when you question where your product is... about the fifth time... the finally respond that the product(s) you ordered is no longer available. Refund? What's a refund? They don't seem to know! BEWARE!

My order was shipped 5 weeks after I placed it and I still haven't received it. The order is being shipped backed to them and they are offering a refund or to ship it back to me. This will get me to two months of waiting! They will not overnight it to me on UPS which takes about a week. I will never order from Totsy again!

I dont know what people are talking about with the bad reviews they give bidz. I was leery when ordering because of all the bad reviews, but when my items arrived WOW! The shipping was quick first of all, but the items were better than I expected, the pictures dont do them justice. I ordered the same exact tanzanite necklace that I bought for on sale for $400 dollars in Cancun Mexico for $27 on bidz, yes that is right $27. I thought I was getting a bargain in Cancun because the regular price was $900. I will continue to order from bidz, so for all you people who want to bash them, sorry for your back luck.

I see many of the reviewers call this a penny auction site, this site is not a penny auction site.

The quality for the some of the products is very good while some of the products is a complete waste of time and money. Watch out for odd brand items. I purchased many items after winning the high bid. Shipping was expensive but delivery was fast and on time. Several large items I purchased were broke, we didn't realize this until after these items were opened at Christmas time. Quality was not there and not as advertised.

I will most likely use the site again for jewelry and art prints (quality was wonderful) I will not use this for anything else again.

I would give this site a 0 if possible. Ordered a pair of boots from this website. When they arrived (incredibly late by the way) they seemed to be fine. I wore the items TWICE and the soles are falling off and the buttons on the sides already came off! I called and emailed customer service and they REFUSE to refund or exchange because "they can only refund if the item is damaged when received." But DON"T WORRY all items go through quality control, so I must just be walking incorrectly. Save your money and the trouble and order from a real site with REAL customer service.

I ordered my stuff at the beginning of feb 2013 and didn't get it until march 4 2013. I wish I had took a look at the reviews before I made a purchase. I paid $100 for 5 dresses and used a promo code for free shipping. I thought what a great deal 5 beautiful dresses purchased from the comfort of my own home and I didn't have to pay for shipping this is great. But once I actually got my dresses it was a nightmare they looked nothing like online they all looked faded and worn. The material was really thin and cheap and I had to be extra careful with the dresses because of the poor quality. I'm embarrassed to wear the dresses but reading the reviews I'm thinking a refund is not in the cards for me. I guess I will have to make the best of it and hopefully the dresses won't fall apart as I am wearing them. What a waste at least I learned my lesson no more totsy for me BUYER BEWARE!

I had a very positive Totsy experience. I got a pair of booties for me, a cookie monster book and a cute sweater for my daughter, and a grilling cook book for my husband all for $30 (with shipping). My order arrived a week ahead of their estimate and arrived correctly. Maybe I was lucky, who knows... but I at least wanted to say that they don't screw everything up.

I always buy jewelry for my daughter in Bidz. She like to decorate self and her dolls. So I buy just cheap items. The quality of items is good not always. But it is not important for me, because I pay for jewelry cheaply. There is a large assortiment of nice jewelry for low price. I like it. I always get my orders on time.

Bought from Bidz a few times and brought some recent purchases to my jeweller who shook his head once he tested the diamonds and told me they were paste not diamonds. Very poor for a company that states falsely that they are diamonds.

STAY CLEAR

It is fake. I bought a GrandMaster watch from you and it was junk, I have a very reputable jeweller who tested all in front of me and told me it was a fake watch and further more your gems are not real.
