I've been meaning to try these for awhile now, I picked out what I wanted and then found they were out of stock in nearly all sizes. I commented on this, and someone who I assume works there suggested a different but similar style that hadn't appeared in the correct category - great. Decided to get 2 pairs, but when I went to checkout it said they were pre-order and wouldn't be available for a couple months. Would have been nice to know this before I wasted time trying to figure out which size to get. Don't understand why it wouldn't say this on the item before you put it in your cart - maybe because it's less likely people will order? I know I don't want stuff randomly showing up in my driveway months from now when I don't know if I'll be around. Sure this year probably will be, but still. Then I noticed it said pre-orders are charged at time of order, rather than when they are actually shipped, which I think is pretty bogus. Most companies don't do that. (I suppose I could wait until they're actually in stock and there are even some reviews, but I'm just guessing my new choice will be out of stock by then as well.) Searched on the brand and start seeing many not so good reviews. Feeling like I dodged a bullet.

I ordered one pair of pants but was charged for two. Their customer service phone number was disconnected and the other phone site had a voicemail saying they are closed for Juneteenth. It's June 22 and Juneteenth is over! The amount charged to my account was over $150.00 and it should have been $81.89. I will never wear this product and will not shop with them again. These companies should be ethical instead of ripping people off.

If anyone out there reads this and is wondering about these - get them! Get them! Get them!
I just got mine in the mail not even after 5 days ordered and these are by far the best pants I have worn.
I am using them for work and I am 6ft and I got the Large long and they are LONG and the most perfect fit.
I am so excited! Best purchase of the decade! (Last decade included, since we are only 6 months in the new one haha)

My first jeans order was fast and easy. Nice product, no issues. Then they sent me a pre-sale offer... so I purchase a new style of jeans on February 2020 at a special price. The jeans were supposed ship the start of April. In March I received an email stating they would need a couple more weeks. That was fine. Finally I receive an email MAY 21 that the jeans had shipped! A week later the tracking number showed that DHL still had not received the package. (Betabrand is in CA & I am in OR so normally only be a couple days ship time) So I contact customer service. I was told in repeated emails to be patient the package had shipped, but still I could see by the tracking # that DHL didn't yet have the package. So I requested at that point that she just cancel the order and refund me. I asked this two different days and the customer service rep. Each time insisted that she couldn't do that because the package was already enroute and that I needed to patiently wait.
Today DHL notifies me that the package was received by them (yesterday June 4) and that it was at customs! So my made in San Francisco, USA jeans were actually being made out of the country and that is why they weren't given to DHL. 3-1/2 MONTHS of waiting to get jeans and horrible customer service is not acceptable. I STILL have not received the jeans and won't for another couple weeks due to being held up in customs. Betabrand has definitely lost me as a customer.

I ordered 3 pairs of pants from Betabrand on April 24, one of which is a pre-order, so I won't comment on that status yet. I received one pair of pants on May 5, right on time according to their estimate. However, as of May 28, I still haven't received the second pair of pants. DHL hasn't received the package from Betabrand yet. Luckily, I did seem to have better luck with customer service than others on this forum. I contacted Passport, their shipping coordinator, and they arranged a refund for the pants I didn't receive. I've checked my bank account, and I did indeed receive the refund for the full price of the pants. They also gave me 30% off a new order, so my dumb self decided I should reorder the pants.

I placed a second order for a sweater and two more pairs of pants on May 19. I received the sweater on May 27, and I love it. The other two pairs of pants haven't even finished processing yet, so tracking hadn't begun. The whole order was promised by May 28- June 1. They're blaming DHL for the delay due to Covid19, but it hasn't even gotten to DHL yet. I've emailed Passport again as well as Betabrand directly. They have given form responses so far.

Overall, I am not satisfied with their shipping practices. It is not okay to charge customers and promise a date without delivering on that date.

I have heard great things about their product if you can ever actually receive it. Order placed and shipped immediately but never got passed the shipping label stage. They lied and blamed the shipper and refused to help even though I contacted three times. The CS team didn't even seem to be reading my emails, just sending generic responses. I finally had to dispute with the bank. I see this is pretty common. Doesn't matter how great their product could possibly be, I wouldn't support this company if my life depended on it.

Don't bother

Upon ordering and giving my card info, the order confirmation came back that my pants were on back order. So what that tells me is 1) Perhaps this company is using order money to fund orders as they go along or 2) Their business planning does not allow for them to maintain a decent stock of their products. Either way, this is a shoddy way to run a business. I'm contacting my card to cancel payment on this order. When I order a product and spend my hard earned money, I want that product within a week or two, not 4-6 weeks (yup, that's how long my order will take) Not worth the time, don't bother.

I just received the sassiest pants after waiting 3 months and so excited. They run a little big. The fabric is much thicker than expected but really cute. The problem is that they SMELL like very pungent petroleum. I washed them twice so far and can't get rid of the smell. I can smell them all the way down the hall when the are hanging to dry in the laundry room. I have never experienced anything like this. I emailed Betabrand's and had three different agents respond and had a new pair in a week. I can't really complain about that. I washed the original pair about 10 times trying to get the smell out and the have held up well. Look the same as just softer!

I ordered the regular pants. They were to0 long, so I returned them and ordered the petitie. I got the petitie they fit fine until I washed them and then they shrunk. Yes I washed in cold water and line dried them. Since I washed them I can not exchange them. I think that is horrible. Anyone need a short pair because I can't wear them.

I don't mind paying extra for pants that fit well and wear well. I have 9 pair of their yoga pants and love them all except the style with pockets. When they came out with the pocket style I was excited and ordered them. But the quality is horrible. The seam threads are breaking. Not acceptable after wearing them just 10 times. Company offered a useless $12 credit.

Sizing inconsistent.

Bought small petite straight legs and liked them a lot. Very classy. Then I ordered three more in same size -- small petite. Received 2 pair and both are longer than the first and would need shortening. Third has not arrived. Betabrand Website has gone nonresponsive so I am refused access to my "orders" on the menu, which means I cannot get a return label or check status of the one that has not arrived. Just plain crappy.

I have placed 2 orders, both times I received the wrong item entirely. I exchanged both orders in January, I received one pair but have yet to receive the other. I love the fit and style of the pants but customer service is terrible. Shipping is very slow and processing returns and exchanges are even slower. It is now March and I still haven't received my exchange or a refund from January! I emailed customer service twice and still have yet to receive a response from them. Very disappointed.

I am very disappointed that Betabrand continues to provide additional colors and styles yet they don't seem to care about reviews and requests for a longer pants length. 34" inseam can hardly be considered a "long" length with so many women/girls today being 6'+ tall. I am 6'1" and need at least a 36" inseam. Here is an idea, provide an unfinished inseam length of 38"/40" and let the buyer hem them to what they need. Your pricing is also too high! A price range of $40/$50 is more appropriate and you will still be making a huge profit!

Disappointed

I have several pair of Beta Brand pants and have generally been very happy with my purchases. However, I have begun to notice that they fall apart relatively quickly. They fit comfortably and feel great, yet after only three months three of my buttons on one pair have broken in half! Further, several pair have begun to fray at the bottom despite the fact that I always wear heels and the bottom of my pants never touch the ground. These are very expensive pants, and thus I expect a certain quality, which I am disappointed to say I no longer feel is being met.

Comfortable and durable!

I am 5.3 and 140 pounds. The size medium petite for straight pants fit perfectly, a little long but fabric tape does the trick. For bell bottoms which are looser in the leg and seem a little longer I got a medium petite short, and while it's fine barefoot (sandals). If I ordered these again I would get the same size as the straight leg and use the tape.
As far as the quality of the pants THEY ARE WONDERFUL! I wear them all day and not a wrinkle.

Bad everything

Let's start with customer service. Impossible. Generic Q and A in the web page, is all you get. The legs of the pants are ridiculously long. Who are they making this for, Aliens? The Inseam from the waist line to the crotch is too short, so be ready to have and strangled hoochy. Very uncomfortable. Now the best part. I PAID for 2 pants. Received 1. It has been 2 months. What's does that tell you? I was a fool, that should have read more into the reviews, because everybody is saying the same thing, and I shouldn't bought these. Argh!

This company did not send the pants but charged me for them. When I let them know they send back a reply saying " thank you for your order, we shipped them so we cannot process this". Then they say I can return them if I want. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! Beware!

While I loved the idea of yoga pants I could wear to work, their sizing was off and after waiting several months to get my order (see their shipping I mention later), the pants didn't fit and were way too tight. Luckily I have a little weight to lose so I kept them and will hopefully fit into them, but I bought them so I could wear them now, not later. Sure, yoga pants are supposed to contour your figure, but I need to be able to breathe in them too!
As I was ordering them on their website I looked for when the pants would arrive and couldn't find it. I proceeded to check out, and came to find out that it would take TWO to THREE MONTHS to get my order. I was furious, but I really needed pants and, like I said, the idea of yoga work pants is a good one. Also beware that they spam your email like crazy!
In short, the time-frame to get their product is horrible and their product is useless to you if it doesn't fit. Do not buy this product. I hope someone else picks up the idea and sells it in a retail store.

Stay away! They charged me on 12/1, never shipped the pants. On 12/23, I called to ask what happened. The CS rep blamed it on FedEx saying "they lost the package". He said he could only refund my money and could not have the order shipped. Huh? Why not just send me the order you charged me for 3+ weeks ago?

Meanwhile, FedEx reports they received a shipping label request, but the company never supplied a package. See the pics for the current status. It shows the order is being packed, so how could it be FedEx's fault?!

Lastly, I was lied to a second time by the so-called (male) customer service rep about my refund total. He said I would receive a "sur credit" and confirmed it was not a "store credit" I asked multiple times for him to clarify the statement. They gave a $35 "store" credit as if I would ever consider doing business with them again.

I will never know how good or bad the product is, but their reviews on this site are not looking so good. Save yourself the headache.

Bad Business

This company is sleazy and practices poor business practices. STAY AWAY. I returned two pairs of pants 3 weeks ago and still have no received a refund or heard from the company. Also, for the recent Black Friday sales, the company increased their prices to make it look like all the items were on sale, when in face they were not. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. I will never shop here again.
