I am very satisfied with my purchase of thick curtains from Bellacor. Before ordering, I checked the reviews online and they were mixed. But the Amazon reviews for Bellacor curtains were terrific. I decided to take the chance as the curtains looked beautiful and thick--I sometimes work night shifts and sleep very late, and it's hard to sleep in the morning without thick curtains.
I stay in Asia and international shipping for the curtains was pricey, understandable because it's a bulky heavy item.
I placed my order, but a week later, I still had not received tracking information. I was worried since they state items are usually shipped in 2 business days. I called Bellacor, intending to cancel my order.
The customer service rep I spoke to was a polite friendly guy called Joel. He told me I could cancel my order, unless it had already been processed. He checked and found that my order had already been shipped by the manufacturer to Bellacor, but I would only receive my tracking information when Bellacor shipped the item to me. That was why I hadn't received a tracking number yet. He said the item would ship from Bellacor the next day, to Asia. I was relieved and happy!
The item was shipped and I received a tracking number. A week later my curtains arrived at my home in Asia, from the US! That's pretty fast! Altogether, I received my curtains 2.5 weeks after ordering them, which is a reasonable time for an international order.
The curtains are thick and BEAUTIFUL, and great value for money! I'm happy and may order more thick curtains from them in future. Thank you Bellacor, and to Joel!
Horrible company on returns. They sale inferior products, so beware! Would not return on damaged item and they will not give credit on anything else.
I ordered sconces from Bellecor. Upon receipt, completely different than ordered. I contacted Bellecor and they apologized and stated they will send postage to ship the items back and ship the new items. They requested pictures... done within minutes. After 2 weeks not hearing back, I called again. I spoke with customer service and they stated "Oh. I do see that... let me get this going"... what? Waited again another week and called and spoke with the original customer service member and asked again for postage to ship back and status of the original order. After two days. Received postage and shipped. Received new order... ONCE AGAIN WRONG items! We are talking over $1000! I contacted Bellecor once again and informed them wrong items and sent pictures... within minutes. Here it is a week later and no response from Bellecor. Just called and spoke with "Ocean" who was super rude and stated no supervisors are available! I would NEVER recommend this company. Once again, I playing the waiting game to receive the postage to ship back. Requested full credit as I will not go through this nonsense again!
I ordered 2 dark bronze lamps from Bellacor and 8 days later received 2 silver lamps. Waited about 15 minutes on hold to talk to Britney in the "customer service" department and when I explained the problem, without an apology, she asked me in a "happy voice" if I would like a refund. I responded "no, I would like to receive the lamps I ordered". She then explained that it would take several days to process my "request". I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that a supervisor would call me back within 12 business days. A few days later, I received an email from Bellacor saying that they were sorry I was not happy with my purchase and that I would only be charged for return shipping. Long story short, I finally received my replacement lamps about a week later and THEY SENT THE WRONG LAMPS AGAIN! Another call to "customer service" and was told that the lamps I ordered were not available (website stated they were in stock) and that it would take 7-10 business days to process my refund. This company is PATHETIC!
(After receiving the first incorrect order, I received an email from Bellacor asking me to submit a review of the company. I gave them a terrible 1 star review and when I pushed the button to post my review, something went wrong and I was not able to post my review. What a coincidence that they would not allow me to submit a 1 star review.)
Be careful,. Do not buy anything at all, I lost $5000 in a bed and it never arrived. Mi cama jamas llego perdi $5000
Word to the wise, Do Not rate this company before receiving your purchase. I wish it was possible to give a rating of 0, as that's the rating they deserve. I ordered a 4 pc. Sofa table set on 12/8/2019 and they took the full payment immediately. That was the day all contact from them ceased, no updates, emails, nothing. Since they publish a time frame to ship of 4-6 weeks I knew it would take a bit longer. On 1/6/2020 I finally reached out for an update after receiving no product or contact whatsoever since the date of my purchase. At that time I was told it would ship no later than today, 1/20/2020, and since it was a beautiful set I decided to continue to wait. When the new ship date arrived (1/20/20) and I'd still not received any contact I reached out to this company once again. It was at this point that I was told it was still on back order and the new ship date wouldn't be until the end of April. At this point I'd never received one contact initiated by them, they'd had my funds for 2 months and no matter how much I love the set, I finally cancelled and requested a refund. I'd hand the money to someone homeless before allowing it to stay in their pocket. As an owner of a small business myself, I've never had such a horrible experience with another company. In the past I've purchased handmade, heirloom quality furniture without this much trouble. Even worse, if I hadn't gone to the trouble of contacting them, I'd still be clueless about everything. If you see something you like here, go elsewhere to find a responsible vendor. The extra $10.00 to $20.00 you may save is definitely not worth the hassle. And that's if you're fortunate enough to receive your purchase at all.
Slow, slow, slow shipping - customer service offers no help. I would say if you can pay $10 more, heck $500 more somewhere else do it.
Not only do I have to pay for my return--I have to wait until they authorize my return! I am still waiting! I will NEVER order from them again!
