DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE! They sold a faulty mic which caused a fuzzy sound, I sent it back for a refund which they said was supposed to take 8 days. 8 days later, No money received, I had to call them to ask for the refund. Customer Service had no idea what i was talking about.
Later in the day, I got an email refusing to send a refund and they held my item for ransom, asking for additional money. Illegal Practice. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I ordered an item form Bax Music. Their Shipping Information email contains very specific advice that delivery form their couriers should be refused if the outer packaging is damaged. Parcelforce attempted to deliver the item which had a large hole in the packaging and so delivery was refused. - The item has therefore never been in my possession. Parcelforce noted the damage on their tracking of the item, together with comments that it is being returned to Bax Music. - Bax Music have refused my refund until they receive the item back, as they stated that they often have problems with Parcelforce. That cannot be right. - The item has never been in my possession and Bax Music are Parcelforce's Customer, not me. In fact Parcelforce have made an error in that the parcel has been returned to my local depot. - This is not my problem and my refund should not be delayed. Bax Music will also tell you that if you wish to cancel an order, you have to do so on their forms, on their website. - This is not the case. - The relevant legislation is clear in that an order can be cancelled by any normal means of communication and the seller cannot specify! I have opened a Paypal Dispute, but Bax Music have not responded, so delaying my Refund as long as they can!

Like many here I have suffered a catalogue of issues and seem to be nowhere near sorting them out.
Briefly, I bought a PA, it wasn't fit for purpose at anything over one-third volume. Returned it. Got a brand new one which was exactly the same. So asked for a refund as it wasn't fit for purpose. I was offered a 3rd, refused, and spent many weeks back and forth before finally getting help after writing to the UK CEO. It was accepted that it wasn't fit for purpose and I was offered a credit to the full amount.
Was then asked to pay for the return, before finally getting a pre-paid label. Returned the item and some 6 weeks later it turned up back at my door, as 'repaired' despite the agreement in place. So that has now gone back again and now they have emailed to say they are knocking £25 off any credit, no reason and when asked they couldn't provide one and are still searching for the reason.
The customer service team does not appear to record anything or check the statuses of orders and simply sends out wonderful generic emails which only make them look worse.
I have had enough, no more credit notes, I want my money back and I can then draw a line under this debacle.
If I could leave no Stars I would, Terrible Company -Delivery went wrong (Tuffnells ceased trading) Bax took no positive action, wouldn't re-send a new item and said via a 'standard' to everybody email, leave it with us and we'll let you know! Their attitude is 'Tuffnells have your piano - not our problem' No replacement, no date, no confirmation and don't answer emails or phone calls. Appalling company, AVOID and use a UK music store, Bax are the cheapest online for a reason they are unprofessional and have a poor attitude to customer service!

It's 10 days now that they cannot allocate my payment on their account!
I'm receiving emails that they will cancel the order within 48 hours if I don't pay. Barclays(my bank) have found their account upon payment and all the digits matched with their payment request.
Money has left my account on16th of February. They claim that payment was not received until today(25th Feb)!
I've contacted Barclays and bank has confirmed that the transfer was made and the amount was received on the other end.
Be very careful if you decide to purchase something from them!
Before purchase I've phoned the shop and they've answered almost immediately, confirmed that the item is in stock and send me the email with payment link. Now they don't answer my phone calls...
I've stopped receiving replies from customer service, only the automatic emails are arriving asking for another payment and stating that the payment is still not received.
Extremely dodgy practices.

I am not one to normally write reviews on things like this but the service I received was shocking, it took 7 weeks for my parcel to be delivered and there was no communication, after 3/4 weeks I tried to make contact with by both email and phone but got no response at all. I work full time so needed information on when it was as going to be delivered. It wasn't until I opened a request with PayPal that they responded and explained there had been a problem and apologised, I gave it the benefit of the doubt but it then happened again for another 3 weeks. After saying I would open another formal request with PayPal they replied to say they were going to ship it the following week and send me tracking information, the tracking information was in a foreign language and I could not understand it. I then got a text from a delivery driver telling me he was 20 minutes away with a pallet for me, he showed up and put it on the road and told me to come and get it and said he couldn't help me to get it in the house even though I was a young girl on my own (a large piano and stool). I have recently emailed Bax to ask for their complaints procedure and the lady who replied to me says she doesn't know what this means. Totally and utterly disappointed.
I needed some items for my sons 18th Birthday. Ordered as soon as lockdown started to try and ensure got them for my sons Birthday over a month later. Initially ordered through Dawsons who have always been brilliant. Unfortunately they didn't have in stock, rang me to inform me and refunded immediately. So I chose Bax as they said items were in stock and 1 item would be despatched when in stock few days later. Never received one of packages. Came from Mondial Relay then Hermes. Hermes said it was delivered even though we were at home. Had to reorder items on Amazon who delivered promptly. Trying to contact them is almost impossible, sometimes wait up to an hour then get cut off. When did manage had to sign declaration that not received package, then no correspondance. Had to chase 3 times and fobbed off. Had to resolve eventually through PayPal. Took 2 months to get money back. They also advertise themselves as based in Folkestone. They may have an office in Folkestone I don't know but the company and products are not in the UK!
Purchased a B stock guitar, didn't mention anything on the description about the problems, all it said was it was a customer return, may be signs of use and packaging damage, the guitar wasnt checked properly, the volume and tone knobs were very loose and easily came off when turned.
The pickup height was low so I tried to adjust them, when I did they just came loose, they were pretty much screwed directly to the body, because they wouldn't go any higher they just sounded very weak.
The bridge pins were loose so when I used the whammy the posts holding the bridge would come out making the guitar constantly go out of tune.
I've also had nothing but trouble trying to send it back, customer service is absolutely terrible, takes days for them to reply and no one seems to have a clue.
I explained to them that I was disabled and couldn't get out to drop the guitar off at the post office, I asked if someone could collect it instead, days went buy yet again and then a message saying they would send a courier to collect it but it would cost £24.95, what a joke, I told them no way am I paying that, I said I would try and find someone who could drop it off for me, I said I didn't have a printer to attach a label, they said it was ok because the post office would print one for me, so I got a neighbor to take it for me only to find out when they got there that they couldn't print a label and that they would need a printer to print the label, obviously my neighbor wasn't happy, I felt so bad they had gone out of there way only to be turned away so now here I am back with the guitar and not knowing what to do with it, my neighbor didn't have a printer and I have no one else to ask, I can't believe they were going to charge me £24.95 to have it collected, they only changed me £6.99 I think it was...Still waiting to here back from them, I told them I'm going to take this further and speak to ombudsman and see if they can help me sort this, I just want this piece of crap guitar sent back and my money refunded.
I really wouldn't waste your time buying with this company, it's been more hastle than it's worth!
I'm writing this to add some balance to the reviews here.
I haven't been invited here, this isn't a fake review. I just purchased a case, mixer, amp and power strip from BAX at the best price by a mile, I nearly didn't go for this deal because of the summary of the reviews here.
Without comment to individual experiences here, I can say the 1. X summary is clearly wrong. My experience this time was fair as it was a few years ago. However the reviews here caused me to be unnecessarily jittery when I didn't need to be.
Price: 5 stars - The Black Friday discount put them way ahead of competition for the kit I bought.
Support: 4 stars - When I had a product call I was put through to a good support agent. When I had a delivery call a received an email the same day.
Communication: 3 stars - Receiving delivery urls instead of tracking numbers was less good. It wasn't clear to me that the items would be delivered in two packages and what was in each package. When the second package came later, the reviews here compounded my anxiousness, unreasonably in retrospect.
All the items were delivered by the time BAX said the would be. The mixer, amp and power strip came after 6 working days.
I hesitated to place my order due to the reviews here, but now I'm really pleased I went ahead.

This company is not UK and a con, nowhere at all does it mention they are some corrupt Nethlands outfit.
1 It will be late turning up if at all. Customer service is useless trying to chase
2 if it does turn up it's broken box destroyed bits missing or seconds not new!
3 Now worst bit trying to get hold of the customers service is worst ever, they dont care. You have to contact a uk number who cannot make a decision about nothing and make excuses they have to email Netherlands's for a response.
4 if you get a returns label omg you have to you a company called Mondial Relay. Takes 2 weeks to return you would be better sending it yourself. They have no tracking it's a disgrace.
5 refunds what are they... good luck with that no chance

I am sent an email saying this, and promised another one confirming this. That 2nd email never arrived
I emailed them, no reply
I called them, their phones don't work, they suggest emailing them!
I want this pickup done, and my money refunded.

I was supposed to get an email on the 9th confirming a pickup for the 10th of Jan. I have received no such email. The fact that I'm not even surprised should tell you all you need to know
As of 11th of Jan it has still not been picked up

BAX, as a company seem physically incapable of arranging a return. They are obviously not fit for purpose. I can't imagine ever using them again, for anything.
Op de dag van mijn bezoek las ik de vele negatieve reviews van Bax. Ik besloot toch naar de winkel te gaan, twijfelend of ik wel zou bestellen. De vriendelijke drumexpert gaf me een duidelijke en eerlijke uitleg, wat me overhaalde om toch bij Bax te kopen. Ik kreeg het verkeerde product, met een defect onderdeel. Ik betaalde volle pot voor het duurdere toestel dat ik nooit kreeg, €200 meer. Op mijn vraag om het toestel te houden (het was intussen al uitgepakt en opgezet) en het verschil terug te betalen krijg ik al wekenlang geen reactie. Dit is pure oplichterij door nalatigheid.

Answer: Same issue am pursuing with PayPal. Lots of red flags on this company, especially name change from Bax-shop to Bax music, the usually way to try to reinvent reputation.
