Good price and delivered on time. However they delivered the wrong item, coincidentally something much cheaper than I had ordered. Long story short they don't reply to emails, or they send the same copied and pasted emails multiple times over several weeks asking for the same thing, or they get confused and another member of the team asks you for something that you already did 2 weeks ago (i.e. A week after I had already sent the item back I got an email saying "Sorry for delivering the wrong item, in order for us to get to this as quickly as possible, please provide us with..." And I was like mate you're two weeks behind I've already done this, you've already got it back!" If you try and call they leave you on hold for up to 45 minutes then someone "answers" but the line is dead. I returned the item through their online form as no one on email was giving me any useful information, it was tracked and delivered, but I received no email from them or anything saying they had received it or were processing the return. I sent multiple emails all of which were subsequently ignored. No refund was ever issued, I had to get my bank involved who eventually got my money back. Will never order from them again.
My partner paid £1630 on Thursday 28 November with her credit card using my account to purchase 2 x Technics 1210 MK7 turntables which included Saturday 30th November delivery, it is now Tuesday 3rd December and they still haven't been delivered, in fact they don't even know where they are and the staff don't seem interested and keep saying about the delivery fee that has been refunded and nothing about the other £1620 of turntables, I have a tracking number which is not recognised by Parcelforce and none of the staff seem interested that I haven't received my turntables or when I will receive them. I will think twice before using them again as they are only interested in continuous orders and not the customers who have already paid, they have said there is now an investigation into what is happening but I will be contacting the credit card company if they don't arrive this week. If you do order from them do not pick delivery by Parcelforce, choose the other 2 courier's as the items come from there warehouse abroad and Parcelforce don't log them until your delivery hits the UK

Op de dag van mijn bezoek las ik de vele negatieve reviews van Bax. Ik besloot toch naar de winkel te gaan, twijfelend of ik wel zou bestellen. De vriendelijke drumexpert gaf me een duidelijke en eerlijke uitleg, wat me overhaalde om toch bij Bax te kopen. Ik kreeg het verkeerde product, met een defect onderdeel. Ik betaalde volle pot voor het duurdere toestel dat ik nooit kreeg, €200 meer. Op mijn vraag om het toestel te houden (het was intussen al uitgepakt en opgezet) en het verschil terug te betalen krijg ik al wekenlang geen reactie. Dit is pure oplichterij door nalatigheid.
Been waiting 4 months for a refund on a faulty item. They said they transferred it but won't provide a receipt to prove it.
See above and sort it out because it is now becoming a joke regards RON ps why cant you just send another one for some reason you have lost it
I got a faulty mic from Bax, that happens sometimes it's how it's dealt with that defines a company. I spoke to the director directly and he just ignored me after a few emails. They will come back and tell you they were doing everything by the book blah blah but the tone and arrogance of the personel means I won't buy anything from them again and I suggest you look elsewhere if you are looking for good customer service and people with morals. Just disgusting experience from start to finish, don't give them your money

My new go to music shop. Unbeatable prices and fast shipping. Just bought another guitar today from Bax!
Purchased a B stock guitar, didn't mention anything on the description about the problems, all it said was it was a customer return, may be signs of use and packaging damage, the guitar wasnt checked properly, the volume and tone knobs were very loose and easily came off when turned.
The pickup height was low so I tried to adjust them, when I did they just came loose, they were pretty much screwed directly to the body, because they wouldn't go any higher they just sounded very weak.
The bridge pins were loose so when I used the whammy the posts holding the bridge would come out making the guitar constantly go out of tune.
I've also had nothing but trouble trying to send it back, customer service is absolutely terrible, takes days for them to reply and no one seems to have a clue.
I explained to them that I was disabled and couldn't get out to drop the guitar off at the post office, I asked if someone could collect it instead, days went buy yet again and then a message saying they would send a courier to collect it but it would cost £24.95, what a joke, I told them no way am I paying that, I said I would try and find someone who could drop it off for me, I said I didn't have a printer to attach a label, they said it was ok because the post office would print one for me, so I got a neighbor to take it for me only to find out when they got there that they couldn't print a label and that they would need a printer to print the label, obviously my neighbor wasn't happy, I felt so bad they had gone out of there way only to be turned away so now here I am back with the guitar and not knowing what to do with it, my neighbor didn't have a printer and I have no one else to ask, I can't believe they were going to charge me £24.95 to have it collected, they only changed me £6.99 I think it was...Still waiting to here back from them, I told them I'm going to take this further and speak to ombudsman and see if they can help me sort this, I just want this piece of crap guitar sent back and my money refunded.
I really wouldn't waste your time buying with this company, it's been more hastle than it's worth!
The guitar is well finished and high quality, the action is rather high, but I can adjust that.
I was not given any information regarding the delivery date and had no opportunity to change it. The guitar was left on the doorstep, luckily my partner was at home
Just built my second bax guitar blank kit Stratocaster looks great and sounds great, after my son bought me one, telecaster as a gift, great fun to do good quality and very reasonable price, would recommend it if you're thinking of giving it a go at building your own guitar

I'm only leaving a review here today because I received an automated email from Bax asking for reviews, so I did so on the sites they linked, and now i'm doing a few more for good measure. That seems to be how these guys work, but that's just highlighted the way things are these days, because whilst I ordered a product from BAX over a week ago, and they emailed me to say it had shipped, I've still not received it.
The order tracking says 'advised' which means they booked a carrier, but it's not been collected yet so I have no idea if it's any good or not.
Why bother leaving a review then? Well I've done do because when I followed up with an email to BAX to query the status of my order I didn't get a reply, yet they still sent out a spammy automated email asking for a review though, so here it is.
- I have nothing to review as it's not arrived.
- Customer service have not replied to multiple queries about it
- I'm not at all impressed.
- I won't order from BAX again.
Useless company - AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I returned a Zoom UAC-232 interface on 27 March 2024 and today, 19 April, I STILL have not received my refund. Useless customer service - you've lost me, Bax Music, forever.
They seem to have the sales bit sorted but not returns.
Absolutely disgraceful, they received my return three weeks ago...it was tracked and a photograph supplied so no option but to acknowledge...seems that doesn't count as it isn't 'the warehouse'...they supplied the returns label so why nor have it returned directly to the warehouse? That was three weeks ago, perhaps the warehouse is a very very long way away! Customer Services are virtually non existent with useless responses such as we'll follow up...frankly I don't actually care what you do as long as you sort my refund!
About to open a dispute now as clearly they are taking no notice of me.

Bought a squier classic vibe 50s Stratocaster from Bax Music after not being able to find one anywhere else at a reasonable price. All other ones in the website were sold out apart from the Sunburst. I was out when it was delivered but when I got back a few days later and opened it up I found a defect on the headstock and two reasonable scratches on the bodywork.
I got in touch with bax music to ask them what could we done about this and if I could get a partial refund. They responded saying we can offer compensation in the form of a voucher, but we need to see proof of these defects in a photograph. I sent through two photographs, Which was days ago and have heard absolutely nothing since
Very disappointed in the service, probably would not use again
Update: I also went through the official channel for return on the website, stating exactly the same and that I can't send it back and instead require either a refund or compensation. I have heard absolutely nothing! I'm disgusted at this level of customer service


I wanted pair a pair of speakers stands. I chose to go with the K & M *******.
The Bax Music shop offered the product at a very competitive price. I chose parcel force as the delivery courier because it was the cheapest available and, there wasn't an immediate need for the speaker stands. I placed the order on the 12th of March and it arrived on the 14th of March.
The product and its packaging came inside a Bax Music box. The products arrived in excellent condition and, I had no issues with Bax music.
Do not use Bax Music! What a waste of time and money it has been. We ordered some DJ Truss for a show in November 2023 that never arrived. When we requested a refund for it, they sent us a partial refund for some odd reason (even though the product never arrived). Since Nov 2023 till now (end of March 2024) we have been going back and forth in loops requesting the rest of our refund, and they keep taking the piss by telling us we haven't provided the bank details, then the confirmation number, they even went as far to say we weren't emailing from the original email we had been communicating on (even though it was the same email thread and clearly the same email address). We have holded off writing this review for a few months to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's seeming clear that there's something else going on. Avoid at all a costs!
Stay away from this company. If you ever need costumer service is a joke. Been having problems since LAST YEAR.
Imagine this:
-You buy a product
-Half comes faulty
-Bax officers to replace only faulty part, specifically saying keep the rest, send only faulty part.
-No contact
-I contact, apologies but please send the full product for replacement, costumer service made mistake.
-goes back to print label and back to post office.
- waits, no contact. Weeks.
- calls, things take time. Reply from bax.
- email from Bax, no longer have my product available. Offer refund or replacement of faulty part and return of my old half of bundle. (Back to the beginning)
- wait weeks. No contact.
- call bax, no one knows anything. Rude costumer service hangs up after saying "we don't know where your old interface is, is probably lost" and hangs up
- call again, explained costumer service made mistake, they can't send any of the equipment back or replace. But will contact me back. Also request to talk to manager due to previous ruse experience. No manager is ever available, only through request.
- days, no call from manager but email saying found solution. Upsell to better model for extra 100 pounds.
- reply asking for a better solution.
- silence.
- keep emailing.
- silence.
- try to get CEOs attention
- ignored, comments deleted.
- still no contact.
- still no equipment.
- still no solution
- you are keeping my money and equipment and dragging for months. Costumer service replye again after last call... "We don't know, we work from home, you have to keep waiting for a reply"
This is where I'm still. In Bax shop limbo.
Bought a guitar (Recording King Dirty 30s Parlor). Excellent service, beautifully packed and arrived in excellent condition. Needed some set up and new strings but that's normal. Bought some strings which arrived in a huge box that meant I had to make a trip to local post office to collect (see photo). Decided to find it amusing rather than annoying. Would definitely buy instruments again from Bax, but might look elsewhere for guitar/banjo strings that will go through letter box.

Answer: Same issue am pursuing with PayPal. Lots of red flags on this company, especially name change from Bax-shop to Bax music, the usually way to try to reinvent reputation.
