We have purchased the foaming hand soap for a long time. Recently the bottle plunger has changed. It is hard to press it down and when it does it shoots out too much soap all over. This is by design to make you buy more. I am older and the pressure required hurts my wrists. I dont want to buy this product with that plunger any more!
I am usually happy with bath and body works but I was extremely upset with my last order. It was cancelled on 4 days after I place the order stating that they were out of the product. However, when I went to the web site, they still had the items. I wanted to talk to someone but there seems to be no way to get to a customer service representative. I received the usual emails confirming the order and order being worked on.
Placed an online order in plenty of time to receive for the holidays and 2 weeks later still hasn't even been shipped. The customer service reps are less than helpful and all I am told is that it's in the warehouse look out for an email update. Completely unacceptable especially since you charged me for the shipping. Maybe you should tell customers up front about your lengthy delays had I known I would have gone to the store to make the purchase
Honestly, how can this company pretend to care about their customers when they misrepresent shipping information. How long will companies continue to use the pandemic for an excuse. When I accepted the shipping charge, it specifically said a certain amount of days for my money, right. So if blaming the pandemic is the problem, then the company needs to not charge for shipping for a certain amount of days when they cannot deliver. This is falsifying information, which in reality is against the business law. I have used bath and body works for all my fragrance needs my entire adult life, but I will be switching to perfume from a credible company. I spent over $110 without shipping charge. Since this company has known the pandemic causes shipping delays for them to charge a specific amount for a specific amount of days knowing the issues, this is false advertising.
For many years this was one of my favorite places to shop. A few years ago I noticed they cut their in-store customer service. First it was no BBW boxes for large volume purchases. Then, no more BBW shopping bags. Next they eliminated the small cello bags with BBW ribbons for tying for gifting. I'm expecting them soon to require customers to bring their own bags. I took to ordering online but now have restricted my orders to only a few times a year when their hand soaps go on sale. I buy in bulk. There are still some fragrances I like, although most of the old classics have been retired. I realize times are hard and I hope they do not shutter their brick and mortar locations.

Prices continue to go up WHY?; constantly discontinuing scents and replacements to me have not been good. Have u noticed the 1/2 sales scents are always limited and during this time u can hardly checkout as they continue to sell out, we are so valued can't even get free or half price on shipping esp for orders over $100, and last but certainly not least it take at least 2-3 weeks mim before u get your order. Again, what are we getting for our loyalty?
Lots of good quality skincare products which smell and feel great. However, I wish they carried a wider range of products e.g. they don't have any sunscreen at all, which I found a bit surprising. Prices are on the higher end, but it's better quality than what you'd find a Walmart too.
I have ordered online with the app a few times and every single time I don't get what I order it's very upsetting. Last time they said they were out of the product went to the store they had tons of that product. Please remove your opinion to order online
Quality products with a scent for everyone. The body products really do cleanse and the scents last a long time. The body scrubs have excessive walnuts shells though. Everything has great price when on sale, but is a little costly if you don't use the semi-annual sales or loyalty rewards. Arrives about 2 weeks AFTER original delivery date, so shop in the store where you can actually smell and test the scents to make sure it works for you and your body chemistry. Customer service is no help for online sales, but the associates in the stores are always friendly and knowledgeable. Tracking is not always updated, so you never know where your order is until you get the notification that it has been delivered.
I am going to make it a point from now on to not order online. This is the second year in a row they show items in stock, then send an email they don't have an item. You lose the promotion of buy 2 or however many get one free and get charged shipping. Then they do not allow cancellations. I think it is a slick way to get more money in shipping charges and higher costs for products. What major online retailer does not allow a consumer to cancel nowadays. B&BW is a one way street, they can cancel, but we cannot.
Everyone have there own opinion about mineral oils in the products, but it's very tricky when you expect to take natural product with essential oils, but in reality it's just cheap way to promote not super healthy product! Girls and women read what is inside each bottle, don't let the company fool you!
I had Vanilla Bean body cream and the material was flaking off the wrapper, therefore when you used it the wrapper flakes were all over your skin. I took it back and without receipt no refund no exchange. It's garbage now...I will enclose a picture.
I love Bath and Body Works. They have great smelling body products. They have so many different scents that everyone will find something they like! The prices are really great as well! Shopping here always makes my day!
Sent me a 20% coupon in mail and it's bar code was different from Lubbock tx location/ customer service didn't even offer a coupon - the employees were none compassionate after I spent $80 on a few pillows last week / not going to shop there - we went to home goods instead
They have great sales so you can stock up on your favorites or try something new. Best body spray. Body wash, lotion and creams. Scents last all day. Not too strong like some others. Candles smell wonderful. Love the tiny hand cleaner. You can carry in your pocket or on one of their cute holders.
Walking into this place smells like every person and scent in the store had an explosion. I also have allergies so if you're like me walk in with a few mask. Hopefully the workers there don"t develop respiratory problems...
I'm thinking B&BW Co. Is trying to fake out the customers. I believe they change up the labels and present a different color bottle. I finally figured out that many scents and lotions have a familiar smell DUH on my part. Only because I have been using them for years. It makes sense now especially when you put body spray on and it reminds you one of their other scents because it is. That's my opinion.
Also, Colloidal Oatmeal for sensitive skin is everything but what it is suppose to be. Im thinking it has some type of Capsaicin in it. Set me on fire.
Oh my goodness. The products are awesome and I've loved them for years only to find out recently how awful customer service is. I've been calling multiple times throughout this week to resolve a problem of their store app being hacked and gift card balances being stolen. I keep talking to the same 2-3 people, even with different phone number who have not done anything to help and conveniently get disconnected each time. **Warning** Do Not add your gift card balance to the app! With such a large company and reputation you'd think customer care would have knowledgeable people who can resolve issues instead of giving the run around to get you off the line.
Bath and Body Works has discontinued the best fragrances to be replaced with overly sweet stink fragrances. I don't know why they've gotten rid of their best fragrances over the years. I ordered a bunch thinking maybe I'll find something to my liking. I found a bunch of stink stuff that smells loud and overly sweet stink stench.
Cool citrus basil and Lemongrass sage were my favorites back in the day. Unbelievable how the put great smelling fragrances out to pasture.
They no longer carry clean fresh scented fragrances that I miss so much.
I check all the time hoping that they'd bring the old favorites back. They never will.
So it's goodbye nice doing business with you once upon a time ago.

My wife always drags me in here when we're at the mall, but I don't mind going in. She always buys those little wallflowers things that you plug into the wall. They all smell so good which means our house always smells great
