Disgusting management
August 25, 2021

Disgusting! As a pro MakeUpArtist I signed up for clients and was told to buy credit to use the platform for £44.00 including £7 tax which is 60credits to contact any leads! The employees are rude and management is even worse for the brand. Will advice customers to choose Bidvine as it's more trustworthy. Still trying to get my refund and it's just going to drag

Fast and Speedy response

Although, I received contact from one provider, unfortunately I was unable to uptake the offer as it was too far away for my circumstances as I have no transport available. I did input in my finer details at the start that I required 1-1 tuition at home for my son or at our local school in Malton North Yorkshire but there were no local matches available.

Bark recommended four companies to clear 30 years of moss from off my roof tiles. One replied "No, thank you." Another, RDP Jet Clean run by Zoltan Nagy, replied "Yes, please" and came that morning to look at the job... not an easy job with at least five dormer windows. After a very thorough examination with a camera on an extendible pole, he gave me a very fair quote which I ultimately accepted. Zoltan promptly came after the weekend and proceeded to carry out a very thorough professional job in stages: scraping the tiles using a specifically shaped template; soft brushing off all the moss; then spraying the roof with an algol moss biocide. He worked VERY hard and did a truly EXCELLENT job. So, thank you Bark, and THANK YOU, Zoltan. Both to be highly recommended *****

Zaff is a legend

The van man I found on bark, Zaff of courier crown ltd was brilliant, but he contacted me directly. Zaff was one of the friendliest, most helpful people I have met he was an ace van man.

The bark website had lots on there and I found the search results a bit overwhelming in the way they were presented, also it wasn't clear how to get in touch with the tradesperson directly, so once the search was done I didn't know the next step but like I said he phoned me and we negotiated, so it all worked out. Thanks for putting us in touch bark

Shoutout to NC Handyman Services, Thank you again for assembling all the items I needed to get assembled ( King Size Bed, (2) Nightstands, Dresser, Coffee Table, Bookcase and Mounting Two Televisions my walls (55" & 65"). Ed the gentleman who assembled everything did a great job and was very professional and efficient with his work also got everything done in a timely fashion and in ONE DAY! Thank you once again I Highly Recommend you use this company they are affordable and convenient and the work shows for its self.

Bad garden experience

I am disgusted with Bark.The gardener who they recommended was a disaster.He made a complete mess of my garden. Charged me £2560 and the job is a complete disaster.I told him I was not happy with the work and that I wouldn't pay the rest of the money until he left the garden the way he said he would. Him and his workmen intimated me as I was scared of them I paid up.I've contacted Bark today and they didn't want to know.They wouldn't give me any information regarding the firm.So people in theGateshead bewareAll I know is that the firm is called Property Care

I worked with Paul Ayoub of Digital Video Productions and he did a video shoot with me. I needed video for updating my belly dance website. Paul was very professional, prompt and delivered a fantastic video product for me. I actually received 5 videos after the editing. Video sent to Keith of work and trees to be cut and quote of 700-800 approximately given. When the 3 of them arrived the new price was 1350 from Keith and we accepted it and unfortunately did not barter. They planned to be with us the next day as well probably. We considered the long journey and 3 men working for 12 hours and acceptedbsnd probably the next day.
Unfortunately Keith left about 4: hours later and the 2: remaining finished about 2-3; hours early. Keith wasn't there so we handed the money agreed cash over at 6pm. Sorry we didn't barter the price and ask for a receipt.

Crooks stay away!

Automatically billed me, when I complained 10mins afterwards when I realised the error they refused to give me my money back. They have also not responded to my request for my details and to speak to their GDPR officer. Closed my account after I complained and "bought" leads

Spam email, poor customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Scam: Stole my money

They say your promo credit pack of $160cdn will get you about 10 lead responses. Well after I paid, turns out that is only 4 lead responses. Classic bait and switch. I called to complain and ask for a refund, very frustrating conversation as they tried to justify. They didn't like my complaint or tone and terminated my account and no refund. $160 stolen from me. Nothing I can do but warn others. They are not local despite their local phone number, based in London.

BARK in Australia is a total scam as far as Real Estate Photography goes.
Over time I have tracked consistent patterns that clearly indicate that this business has a high percentage of bots, the lead generation is extremely poor, trying to connect with a lead is against the odds as most don't even engage.
Friday is a busy day! Drone Photography Locations are mostly in 'No Fly Zones'!
The same potential client names reappear with consistency wanting to engage your services!
This UNBELIEVABLY CROOKED BUSINESS always WINS it can never lose.
The leads are not genuine, the leads seldom respond & Bark will not Refund a Credit.
A DECEPTIVE BUSINESS MODEL THAT IS NOTHING OTHER THAN A SCAM CATEGORY!

Not a real guarantee

I purchased their starter pack, under the auspices of a "Get Hired Guarantee." I didn't get any traction from my first set of leads, so I took advantage of their so called guarantee. True to their word, they refilled my original credits. I then reached out to more potential customers. All told, I reached out to 16 different customers. No work. Only 2 actually even reviewed my profile. I reached out via email, text, and phone. Nothing.

I then messaged support. Their response to me was that they don't "guarantee work" - which seems fair to me, except that it flies in the face of their "get hired guarantee." It's one thing if people checked me out and hired someone else, but their leads that cost 25-30 dollars should lead to at least being viewed.

Their leads are a joke. The Guarantee is not a guarantee. I should have gone with my hunch in the other reviews and ignored them. But their Get Hired Guarantee is an outright misleading statement. It's dishonest statement. Stay away.

I'll be filing a complaint with our consumer protection service. I know what their fine print says, but to publicize "Get Hired Guarantee" and then to tell you they don't "Guarantee Work" - they can't both be true. I'm also going to try and find a class action lawsuit.

Proceed with caution - very very greedy with their lead credits. Used to be averagely 4 credits but recently for same type of lead (wedding) they have not only increased their lead price across the board but now expect us to pay 7 or 10 credits for a lead! The leads give little or no useful information so very easy to waste credits. Better platform for wedding suppliers is Add to Event. Excellent value and highly professional. Deffo not greedy!
And don't waste your time completing the BARK "surveys" - they are an absolute "crock" and waste of time. BARK IS ALL ABOUT THE £ and to hell with customer/supplier service.
