Scam
August 25, 2020

Very friendly on the phone until I requested a refund as the lead's came to nothing, every time I rang or txt a potential customer I'd get no answer or reply? I'd even text a few customers asking them to please reply as I think I'm being scammed and still got no response. Oh as for the refund I got it just call apple and they'll refund you if you think your being scammed too

This is the biggest scam I have ever encountered as a vendor. They will literally rob you of money with leads where there is no phone number that works, where you call and the call gets disconnected or the leads change there name after you reach out. Go to THUMBTACK they have more integrity and better customer service.

I had a really bad experience with Bark. I was scammed over 4k by one of their leads and they were really unhelpful about that. They said they'll return the credits used for that lead but they never did. I was extremely unimpressed with their customer service. Keep away!

Fake Leads

I think all the leads are fake, I responded to many leads and got nothing. Feels like this company is like many others, they just take your money and dont care if you do get gigs. They guarantee FULL REFUND if I didnt get a gig in 30 days. I requested my refund and got nothing! Stay away from using Bark!

We don't want anyone to have a negative experience using our site, however we strongly refute your claims made against our business.

We do not have "fake " leads. All leads are screened by an automated system, and we have a credit return policy which covers any contact details which are not working. We feel this is the fairest system we can have as we are not a commission based system that guarantees work, and only provide contact details for enquiries placed with us.

We do not offer monetary refunds for used credit packs. You may have had a Credit Back Guarantee on your first pack with us which is the offer of credits returned if no work is won - please email us at team@bark.com and we can look into this for you.

RIPPING PEOPLE OFF

They putting fake leads on just u to go and buy them they rubbish I almost spent almost 1k on them leads only got few answers from the customer. They rubbish they trick u in and than u left without nothing. Hopefully director will read this his job should be broken for doing this.

Good Introduction

A was looking for a local accountant and after registering this information on Bark I was contacted by an accountant I wouldn't have considered. They came out to my home and discussed my needs in a very informative and professional manner. I was impressed by the service and the costs he offered were better than y existing accountant and very competitive indeed. I have now switched to this accountant.

Bark.com is an absolute SCAM! They post FAKE leads, and 9 out of 10 times, I got ZERO response despite replying within MINUTES! The site claims to limit responses to 5, but even being the first or second to reply, I got NOTHING. Out-of-service numbers, ignored emails, and texts—Bark.com is a FRAUD! They trick you into buying more credits with fake leads. Customer service is a JOKE, making you wait 20 minutes to restore credits for bogus numbers. They REFUSED to refund my money, claiming I got the service I paid for, which is a LIE! Don't get SCAMMED like I did! Avoid Bark.com at ALL COSTS!

Just what I needed
December 4, 2021

Having waited for several weeks to reduce 3 trees with TPO's I found the bark website, filled in the requests & waited for the phone to ring. With in minutes I had received several follow up calls, and with in 1 hour a tree surgeon arrived to look at the work. I recognised the company & we agreed a price. To my astonishment 3 1/2hours later the job was done to a very high standard. It doesn't get better than this.

Scam, waste of money

I signed up to hopefully get new leads to a fledgling business. I purchased credits (use credits to get leads), I purchased enough for "about 10 responses". In fact for most of the leads I would get 2-5 - they tried to tell me this was based on the first category I signed up for but gave me some free credits (still not enough for me to respond to 10 leads). I then responded to 2 leads. 1. A client that was looking nationally for a service - when contacted he was only looking on the immediate area. Applied for a refund of credits, not in their refund policy. 2. Responded to a lead 18hrs after it was posted. When I used credits I call led and the job had been taken. Applied for a refund of credits and was told it was my fault for taking too long to respond, not in their refund policy. They advertise jobs that are no longer available and ones you are not able to get due to location. Useless, would not recommend.

Atriox.sg is an excellent accountancy firm to work with. Shaun was super quick to respond to my requests at Bark.com and also answered all my questions patiently. He is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I was new to Quickbook and has made quite a few errors and he was so patient to guide me through and spot my errors within 5mins during the case review. I hesitated at first to purchase Bark credits for customers. I received leads but the cost was not worth it and never received any returns in my investment. I used Bark for two years and during that time I received more referrals (no charge) than Bark business. I gave it a chance, not worth it to me. Kind of disappointed also that I felt suckered into a lead or two -with a customer name like, WhyBother and email address askwyask@... com - sometimes I don't feel that the leads are even legit.

Please start asking for a description on your leads mandatorily. When you send leads with a description they are great. When they don't (which is usually) they are spam, scam, someone trying to sell you something, or a company mining for info

BE VERY CAREFUL!

I'm buying jobs from Bark for about 2 years, also I recommended to few friends that they created a account. When started it was quite ok, however in the last year I can say that 19 out of 20 leeds from Bark doesn't exist. No customer answers to phone calls, emails, SMS etc. So they selling FAKE LEEDS! This is one problem. The other and the most important is that they taking money from your bank account, they setting as auto top up, purchasing Leeds without your knowledge and you just realising that money missing from your bank account.
THIS IS FRAUD!

Bark is a Scam!

I am a professional photographer and mostly when trying to contact prospective clients I get ghosted all the time! The only leads I bid on now is when I get a email saying a client has found me on Bark and would like me to contact them. When I attempt to contact them, NOTHING. Ghosted again! Will stop using Bark now.

These guys are shady, be careful. I clicked to not receive emails and they still spammed me multiple times daily. I emailed them to stop spamming me and they deactivated my entire account. So basically unless you want to get spammed all day, you need to disable your account.If you have to receive spam just to use a service that's shady to me.

Deceitful leads
June 29, 2020

Be very careful as most Leads don't exist, I'm contacted by bark with a lead, I contact the lead/customer which costs me 4credits but the lead doesn't reply to me once I've tried contacting them. This Happens 70% of the time. Not all leads are genuine. If a genuine lead wants me to contact them directly it costs me 6credits, bark increase my costs to buy the potential genuine leads.

Tawow Tree Service
June 14, 2023

Marc Tatem of Tawow Tree Service was the first contractor to bid on the removal of a 10 foot dead ornamental tree from my front yard. I. was immediately impressed with his gung ho attitude so I told him to go ahead and remove the tree which he did by only using a shovel and axe. He had it removed in about 20 min with its root ball. After he was finished he sent a truck to take the tree away and clean up the broken branches from the lawn. I was impressed with how quick he did the job and with his reasonable price.

A massive thank you to Andy ollie Phil Casey and dave the guys from protech-drivewsys who gave our property outside a complete makeover but the add on bark and was answered within an hour
We was very happy with the quote and work began 3 weeks later 7 days later our property was totally transformed.
The team were fantastic worked immensely hard extremely professional very polite and well mannered thank you for making 2 customers very happy and totally enjoying there outside space would recommend 100%
