Si far I have had two people respond but only one has visited to give quote.

BARK REVIEWS ARE FAKE

I hired a social media company through Bark that was a total fraud. The company, Digital Visibility Concepts, DVC, has lots of glowing reviews on Bark. I left a one star review on Bark explaining how the company had taken $1400 from us and went dark afterwards - but the review disappeared. I added it again and it kept disappearing. Bark is a fraud also.

The overwhelming majority of customers' experiences on Bark are positive, but we recognise that with such a large volume of jobs being agreed on our platform, problems may arise on very rare occasions.

We do not claim to vet any professionals who use our site. Our role is simply to put you in touch with a professional in much the same way the Yellow Pages, Google or an advert in the paper would do. We provide public profiles on every professional and an open review system to allow all prospective customers to carry out their own due diligence before hiring any professionals.

We do however take any reports made against professionals seriously, and did ask you to get in contact with us directly to report them.

Do you know That Bark sometimes create fake jobs as lead just to keep the sites moving and to make money from innocent professionals. Some of the leads are real but majority are made up.

Check our all the lettered emails made from gmails. Contact them and no response. Coins Gone.

The site is good for customers but rips professionals off.

The leads are over saturated, the customer service insults you (and doesn't provide a solution). On top of that their "get hired guarantee" is a scam. It's just a money grab to get you to dump thousands into their credits.

They have the system set up so they take your money and run. When you request support they keep sending templated answers.

On the phone they're rude as anything.

SAVE YOUR MONEY & TIME! LOOK ELSEWHERE!

False advertising of their specials to attract a buyer without disclosing that vat was excluded and immediately sets the credit purchase setting to instant reloads.
The customer service was terrible and all the leads are or seem fake as not even one booked, they always cancelled because someone died, was in a car accident or just ignored calls. DO NOT TRUST

On Feb 9 **** i made a paypal payment to KRAZYDE in the amount of $799 after being contacted by a person posing under the name of Kevin Kristen who worked for krazydesignlabs, website design villa, and website design valley. This thief contacted me after stating he was notified by another scam website bark.com. I have all the communications. He did not provide any of the work that was promised and when i asked for a refund he repeatedly promised that a refund was coming AND JUST KEPT PLAYING GAMES AND GOING IN CIRCLES. None of the work promised was completed the feedback was not even read and i was dealing with fakes for 4 weeks. STAY FAR AWAY FROM BARK.COM, WEBSITEDESIGNVILLA, KRAZY DESIGN LABS, KEVIN KRISTEN!

Lots of leads!

Although the quantity of leads are high the quality are poor. I found the support team to be less than helpful, in fact they have been downright rude to me on several occasions. The return on investment has been non existant. How their pricing is determined remains a mystery to be, although they claim to be based on the value of the job I strongly disagree.

Terrible experience.

They tell you that they'll give you a refund if you don't close a deal but they don't tell you that it's not a monetary refund. Such a terrible experience with the customer support team.
Freelancers, stay away from this service.

I found a company that was a builder and Gardener as I was looking for a new Patio and Flower bed to be created. The work that they did was very good, the workers very helpful and efficient and the various skills that they provided were excellent.
The owner of the company who carried out the work was efficient and very helpful with various suggestions of the work needed to be completed..

No where on the site can you delete your account. Had to call in to request the removal. After that I tried to sign up as a Pro but it would not let me. Says email already exists even though the agent said it was deleted and I received an email confirmation. I tried again, it asks for user name and PW. Says PW is wrong, I hit forgot password. It says enter an email address. I input the same email address that said it already exists, but then says, can not find email. WTF? I contact support 3 times and all three times a rep says please sign in as a Pro. I tried to explain to them the situation only to be rushed off the phone. The 3rd rep says he is ending the call and hung up. Poor everything.

Randomly got an enquiry from a customer named Johnny via Bark.com. Thought it weird as my daughter has listed her business only on Facebook. I replied and quoted the customer. Bark asked me to review my experience shortly after. I said it was too soon. They then sent me another 2 emails about their business. I replied by asking how they got our contact details and told them I didn't believe that Johnny was a legit person. They replied by saying they got the details about my daughter's business from my website. I replied letting them know that they just confirmed what I thought since my daughter's business is not advertised on my website and my website is not active. I told them I was now aware that they are dishonest in the way they conduct their business and are scamming business owners to buy in to their service. I am appalled! They replied with simply, "would you like us to delete your account?" I replied with, "I never set one up ever".

Money making scam
June 12, 2020

Bark is supposed to match up clients with service providers. Service providers pay a premium for the leads of about £12 per lead. Very few clients respond to the service providers because they are spammed by Bark leading to confusion and overwhelm. Thus neither the service providers or the clients get their needs met. However, Bark does very nicely out of this arrangement.

Do not waste your money folks. Most of the leads from Bark are not true/ good leads. You pay for the leads and most times the customer doesn't answer, they send you to voicemail or if they do respond it's only with one sentence and then they don't respond anymore. Most times Bark will not refund you. I have referred this service to another company and the owner complained of the same issues and told me that he's wasted a lot of money paying to leads from this company. Additionally, their customer service is poor. The representatives are not pleasant or understanding. They will basically tell you that if the number works no refund. BEWARE!

I have been registered with Bark for sometime but never thought I would need their help in choosing a workman for any sort of job but it happened that I needed a roofer as I've been having a leaking roof. It became bad that I needed someone to come and have a look and to get quote from roofers. I decided to give Bark a try and to my amazement, as soon as I posted the job, I immediately started her response from roofers. I got different quotes which were closely similar to one another. With that, I have decided to go with one of them. Work will commence in about a week's time. I will keep Bark posted on completion of the work.

Business owners stay FAR FAR away from Bark they are an absolute rip off and scam. Leads are false/fictitious and uncontactable everytime and they refuse to refund. Dont believe them they are stealing your money by not providing any real service or lead

We categorically do not have fake leads. We screen every single lead using our automated system and have a credit return policy which allows us to return credits for any leads which are found to have incorrect details. We can't return credits where the customer hires another professional or chooses not to contact you as we are merely a marketing platfrom and not an agency.

We appreciate that is frustrating when customers don't reply, and whilst we do our best to prompt customers about responses from professionals, there is only so much was can do as a pay as you go introduction service. We did launch a Customer App a few months ago to help make the connectivity between Customers and Professionals better. We also let them know that professionals pay to use our service.

We also provide a filtering system in Filter Questions to ensure that our professionals can filter the best leads their way.

If you have had any issues with incorrect information in a lead, please do email us with the details at team@bark.com.

As part of our commitment to providing quality leads we also have more changes planned in the New Year.

I searched up on Bark to find a dog groomer that would come to my home for my palliative dog.
Desiree bathed and groomed my dog so gently and carefully! She did such a great grooming, I'm having her come back next week to groom my Labrador Receiver!

We hired Alex (Bratucu Alexandru) through BARK. He did an excellent job, he installed our parquet laminate flooring on the entire ground floor of our house, professional, meticulous with detail, neat, conscientious, pleasant to work with and very polite. Highly recommended.
BARK however should not send continuous emails asking for reviews, they should wait a reasonable time for for the job to be done first.

Bart is a good source to find direct professionals for home refurbishments. This way you pay directly the person who does the work and not a company too. We chose a person, the work has not started yet but we are confident from the meeting that he will do a good job. Seems quite experienced.

Jamie was great. Very polite and friendly and along with his colleague, worked hard on what wasn't the easiest of jobs. Nothing too much trouble and cleared up after himself. Was honest enough to admit to damaging a man hole cover and reduced the fee to cover this. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thanks Jamie.
