The people who work for BARK are idiots. This company is a joke and I suggest entertainer never use them because 95% of the people who put in a bark lead is not going to hire anyone. Bark gets their money but we get very few gigs. Stay away from them.

We were in search of someone to assist us with our SM Marketing for our new e-com brand to assist with content planning, brand awareness and all that goes with that.
After doing a Google Search we came across Bark.com. We placed a request, received our first email contacts within only a few minutes and were talking to prospective business partners within an hour or two.
This is the most simplest, fastest and easiest way to find your SM marketing expert by far.

I am writing to recommend Red wood tree and Gardening services. Matt came round to see the Garden and offered to start the work that day! Not having green fingers myself Matt was a great support and helped me to make some big decisions on a garden that hasn't been tended to for 18 months! Throughout the 2 days he was working on the garden he kept me updated on progress and checked I was OK with what he was doing. I have hired him to come back once a month to keep on top of things. Would highly recommend this company.

Within an hour, a Caterer called with a very reasonable quote for a funeral wake. We discussed my requirements and agreed terms, then I booked the date for the cold buffet to be delivered.
Such a relief to get this sorted out so promptly, when there's so much else to organise!

They stole my money by "automatically topping up" my credits which I never signed up for.
They refused to give a refund after clearly stating "guaranteed return or money back".
Rip off.
Don't waste your money.

I have to stay Bark is the most horrible company I have ever work with.
So far I haven't got one client from them.
When I asked them for a refund, they refused.
I am a personal trainer in Harrow.
This is the worst company ever.
I don't understand why it's still working.
It should be shut down.
The customer service is thick.
Just losers sitting with no brains to advice.

Driveway cleaning

Found Bark by chance and registered my job needed, very easy. Have only had one response so far from a contractor, but he was very polite, friendly, and has arranged to come this week to look at work. So far, would use bark again.

My business spent $100 to get started with Bark. I thought it was a little pricey at first, but sometimes you have to spend a little money to make money, so I did it. After three weeks and several bids, I've not only not had any contacts from the bids placed, I haven't even heard from the people I've tried to reach out to. I've responded to them via Bark and also through the contact information provided by Bark. Nothing! Crickets chirping!

Word of advise to any company of any size, go to Thumbtack or GigSalad or Yelp! Don't waste your time or money on Bark!

Quick and Efficient
November 2, 2020

Due to failing washers on our old bath taps we though it was time to have some modern quarter turn taps fitted. I placed the job on Bark and David Plumbing contacted me within a couple of hours. The plumber (Everton) called round later in the day to look at the job and came again the following morning to fit the new taps which he supplied based on what I had found on the internet. Speedy efficient service particularly for what was a relatively small job for them. The price was what I had anticipated based on previous plumbing call outs and was agreed in advance.

Its a Big Scam
September 30, 2020

This is a big scam. I have hired a guy through their website and paid him an advance deposit. That guy disappeared without doing my job. When I have contacted Bark.com they simply said we can't do anything go to a solicitor. I am shocked! They just said we don't take any responsibility for anyone we just do marketing. Why would some pay any random guy if you don't provide your platform?

JUST STAY AWAY FROM BARK.COM they are just making their money if something happens they will leave on your own.

We needed a new fence fitted. We found the bark website on the net. After searching for a while we saw ANYJOB 4U. Called the company & spoke to Michael who came round later to give a quote. We agreed a price with him to supply & fit. The next day he came promptly on time with his team. Within 3-4 hours they finished cleaned up & left.
We ar happy with his whole approach & would use his services again if needed.

Worse experience ever ive been on bark for quite a while now as a technician and I follow all the rules in relation to lead returns. And i had specific information from the customer as she no longer wants a job done at all and i was ment to be entitled for a refund for that credit and i spoke to a consultant at bark immediately she was such a rude and unprofessional employee i wished that she gets treated with the same exact respect as she gave. Im so upset i will definitely be taking my business elsewhere i 100% do not recommend this place to advertise ur business as there definitely against you not with u its like i have done something wrong to her. Such an ungrateful person. Please everyone avoid this by staying away

Scam Fake Leads
June 10, 2023

This company is clearly a scam. I used their guarantee and still with all the "leads" I contacted none of them answered the phone even with my callers on standby to call within minutes of a potential "lead". Don't bother dealing with this company they are a waste of investment.

Hardwood Floor Installation

I did an online search for hardwood floor installers and got 5 responses within 10 minutes. I ended up going with BenReno Company, they were excellent, came up 4 days later, got the work done in one day, tidied up when they were done...The floor looks great!

Fake Leads waste of money
September 3, 2021

It is statistically impossible to bid on 47 leads and not even receive an email back from one of them. They don't return calls, text or email. Do not waste your money if you are bidding on work. You will be lucky to get a reply from one of the fake customers. I am sure some leads are real, but the majority are not.

I must tell you about this special lady. Not only is she a true professional painter, her eye for detail is excellent. She came on time and finished on time. Did all that was asked of her plus more.
