Looking for female, they put all the gays on me, they changed female to male, so they could take all the money these men had to contact me, you cannot contact anyone on that app unless you pay, rip offs, they know how to play them gays for every penny they have, they changed everything on my review to what they wanted to to all these people would hit on it and they could take their money, this app sucks totally

Badoo is a fake dating website literally doing nothing but taking money from the desperate singles! It is being run by professional scammers and hustlers based probably in India. Just wondering how can they do this so freely! Never ever sign up there or install their app or give your bank information to them. Otherwise you will be a big loser!

I've never set up an account on Badoo... and yet I am getting MULTIPLE CHARGES day after day. I have reached out to customer service with no reply.

I noticed that Badoo is increasing the number of credits it costs to message someone the more credits you buy. This is illegal. They take advantage of paying customers by making you spend more money. What originally started as 10 to 50 credits per message is now at 200 to 300 credits.

Badoo uses scams and fraudulent means to scam as much money as possible out of their customers. They offer no refunds as apps are not regulated in favour of the customers.

My account has been banned right after I've been racially attacked by a dodgy Lithuanian guy calling me a prositute and telling me how he sell drugs in the uk etc. Yes this is the quality of guys you'll get in Badoo. I've reported tons of his messages but I'm pretty sure he's no penalty with that. My account has been banned by telling him how a person been born with an unfortunate family could shape a person like him. Why don't badoo look into account of what the causes of letting this happening? I'll file a lawsuit case if I haven't got a proper explanation and a satiesfied result with that. I have a few more things on hand to sue Badoo with you'll see

We take reports of this nature very seriously. Please know that we have a zero-tolerance approach to this behaviour on Badoo. I have looked into this case and I see how your warning has been interpreted out of context.
After you reported this user, a moderator will have taken appropriate action against the profile. Upon doing this, or at a later date, you were found to have breached the Community Guidelines. On this occasion, it was appropriate to issue a warning. The message that you are referring to is an automated message that comes with a warning for rude or abusive behaviour on Badoo- this was unrelated to the abuse that you reported.
Please note that the message is: 'We've had a report that you've been rude or abusive on our platform, and picking on people only counts as flirting when you're five.' The message is intended to be light-hearted, comparing mild rudeness to the behaviour of a five-year-old, while letting you know that it is important to follow our Community Guidelines on Badoo.
However, we understand how you may have misread this message and interpreted it in relation to the previous situation. A moderator will be in touch soon to talk this through with you.

Yes, this site is prone to get some scammers or fakes. However, I've had a lot less issues here than other sites. I've managed to meet some great people and I've recommended it to friends. These people were educated, charming, and being a busy student then professional; I felt I wasn't just seeing the same jobless duds as on other sites. They get 4 starts because I wish there were ways to prohibit messages from people based on amount of words used. Getting,"hey, hi, sup" only is irritating. Also, i had issues with 1 guy creating 12(literally, 12) profiles to stalk me. If they could block based on IP address it wouldn't be so bad.

Absolute disgraceful. Everything cost you more money. Even with premium you can only message people they want you too and beware the Customer services take the approach of tough read our terms and conditions. Alot of the time the app says people are online when they are not, resulting in a two day lag. Please read trust pilot reviews they will tell you more just how bad badoo is It's in the name bad oooooo

I purchased a lifetime subscription and paid $79.99. But in order to write a message I was asked to purchase additional credits for $39.99. I already paid and it looks like I paid for nothing. Stay away from this site. Scam. Scam. Scam. They will take your money without providing any services.

I only joined yesterday and paid £3 for badoo premium as it states that i would ve able to chat to woman so paid the £3 and sent message to one woman and it went to a page today to pay for more credits so i thought may be another service so i havs now paid for this so to chat to all. Womem but the £5 was only to chat to thst woman because i went to chat to another woman it come.up with the same message having to buy more credits. Bloody hell this is a scam so i am going to report this to FCA so no one else gets scammed like this. I am on match and i because I'm new they offersd me a one cost of £30 for a period of 6 months so this is £5 per months ans chatted to a few women now so this Badoo is not a dating website its just a money making scam

I signed up on this website only to be kicked out after making a weekly subscription. This must be due to my nationality and I find it to be discriminating. Also, this is unfair showing me options and I can't pick one but I'm kicked out the day I make payment. Now, Badoo won't give me a refund for my subscription. If this isn't fraud in its whole majesty, tell me what is.

Badoo was the first dating website I ever joined at only 19 years old back in 2009. I'm now 30 and have just come back to see what's changed and Badoo only got worse. In earlier days although a huge number of women still didn't reply I'd always get a few reply. Now though I never get a single one. The old messages from the women that use to talk with me there are still in the inbox but those women have long left the site. It's not just this dating website. It's every dating website. Women seem to get more smart and cleaver, having more reasons not to respond. Covid-19 has only made it even more worsen. Women know there's more men looking for a date with all the social distancing that's going on throughout the world so they are only upping their antics online. And it doesn't stop there. Some women on Badoo are ones I knew at school and college and I have them added on Facebook. Still no replies from someone who I actually know! Once the restrictions are lifted I'm thinking of joining a proper real life dating agency where professionals go through the whole country, finding people someone good like Channel 4's Undateables as I've tried internet dating for about 11 years and hardly had any luck.
UPDATE:
And the bad luck hasn't stopped from when I last wrote this review. One woman visited my profile about 3 times. Saw she liked country music which I've been listening to every Saturday night, so I sent her a nice short little message asking if she knew this certain song(nothing bad, sexual or demanding), only for her to immediately block me. Don't know why she would get offended over a small thing like that but Badoo is really becoming a joke.

I received an email receipt for a payment to Badoo's premium service for $59.63 that I did NOT sign up for (knowingly anyway) This was the only alert that I have ever received regarding a Badoo paid subscription, because if I had received an alert like this in the past, I would have resolved it ASAP. At first I thought it was a scam email since I would never pay for a service of this type, or any app for that matter. After some research I realized the charge was legit. I contacted customer support just to be told that per Badoo's 'terms and conditions' they could not refund my payment, even though I was only five days into a six month subscription. This is rediculous. I have never encountered a company that would be so inflexible as to refuse someone a refund under these circumstances. Charging someone's card without alerting them FIRST and then refusing to refund their monies is as much robbery as a picked pocket. The customery service replies were prompt, if not satisfactory, I will give them that. If you create an account with Badoo BE WARY AND BE SURE TO LOOK FOR ALL PRE-CHECKED BOXES OR AUTOMATIC CHARGES. I will be contacting my bank to dispute the fee. Additionally, I just looked back thru my card history and I was charged in January for the same service! For this fee I recall getting NO email, and cannot find one in my email history. Wow.

Went on Badoo last night, dont know what i did but today i have had an email receipt from Paypal saying i paid Badoo £119.99! I am not working and this is a hard blow for me it was the first time i had been on since may i am sick and i want my money back! If Paypal had not emaild me i would not have known! I had a badoo account. I was thinking to be paid member but once one lady swore me and sent middle finger emoji, i replied her she has no normal attitude etc,, I reported her. After one day, I have seen that my Badoo account blocked without any warning or noticed.
I was surprised because policy should work both ways. Also should be warning notice at all.
They recorded my phone number in their system, I wrote them to remove my number from their system. But they keep writing me, that case closed sending by copied and pasted messages.
I wanted open another account but they keep asking my number and my other emailed blocked because it says many complians etc. If i wouldnt open another account how i can get complains.? I used badoo app some years ago( 15 years ago) it was easy, simple and useful chatting, communication tool. But i see that its not anymore. Customer service sucks, they donot care members, member rights, whoever they wat block anytime, no chance for fixing problems etc

I have been using badoo for quite a while now and decided to make payment which cost $1.99. I found out that I have been charged an addition of $89.99 from my PayPal at the same time.
I hope this is not going to end without a refund, or it's just an error from their end. With loads of negative reviews mostly on payment, one have to ready for the worst.
This is my first review on any app. I will see how this will go and If it turns out to be SCAM, I think it's time to make it to the headlines.
