Let me first said Badoo let anyone around your community have a profile not matter what kind of individual is, I meet this guy on Badoo which he was nice a few times towards conversation it was time to meet which we meet in a gas station closed to my home, we talk and then we agreed to keep texting and meet again Finally we went out for a drink that I was super excited I am new to the area so I pick a place that a friend recommended I am 49 years old but a good looking 49 yrs old and a professional, that night we ended up in my home because I have two drinks and I was completely drunk is rare because I usually don't get drunk quick like that he stayed over that night next morning he wake up high fever and sick I am a nurse I was sure it was COVID I got to keep him in my house for Isolation purpose only and he was nice my house was not super clean but I have dogs so the floor was kind of dusty and Christmas Day come he got upset about make me clean the house at this point I was COVID-19 symptomatic few days passed he have his family bring him clothing again he was upset because I did not have wifi or cable, he keep judging everything around muy home the dishwasher, my dogs the way I wash clothing at this point I let this guy stay in my home to protect my community, day 8 01/01/2022 asked him to leave he got very upset started screaming and saying don't hit me you attack me at this point I was freaking out and telling him I did not touch you, he left with my car because his car broke down and the night we went out I pick him up as a courtesy, he came back to my home after all of that like nothing happened. I keep finding the way to get this guy out of my home. Sunday 01/02/2022 I call 311 non emergency call police Dept I was advised to get all his stuff out door and ask him to leave that is when my super nightmare started all the threats all the harassment insulting me with profanity he have to stay there because he have wifi on his name that he connected without my permission.

Anyway this guy have done this before I have to submit a report online with the Police Department and go to the Magistry to press charges of Threatening communication and Harassment.
It was the worse nightmare for me living with my dogs in peace to this guy who wanted to move in for free in my house.

Is not a trusting app because is free most of this guys in the app are not good. I prefer to stay by myself stay away from all these free apps.
Be careful with anyone looks like your dream guy they just tell you what you want to hear nice words, nice actions until they don't get their way that is when the nightmare start.

This is absolute disgust. I hate this site/app more than I've hated anything else in this world. This was a complete waste of time and energy. I enjoyed it when I first used it but when I got more into it, it got BAD. They don't give a f*** about you. They don't have a proper help service. They suck fr and I've contacted them a hundred times but nah, they either choose not to respond or they respond with $#*! like their decisions are irreversible. Just shut the heck up about you and your work cuz it's clearly screwed up. If someone reports you, they block you and there's no going back. The thing called as "Badoo help" is another source of frustration–they won't listen! Ever. This will break your heart, tear it apart and then they'd toss it like trash so keep yourself away from this trouble. They have too many restrictions that are annoying asf. Know what, Badoo? Maybe try paying attention to your blocked users cuz most of em get blocked for like, no reason at all. People who are the ones who possibly report are sometimes just vengeful and mess round for something you refused to do or give (and huh by this I mean inappropriate stuff) or EVEN IF YOU IGNORE THEIR TEXTS, which Badoo happens to take too seriously without investigation. Woah! How practical. Tell yall not to waste your time on this trash (sorry but not sorry). This site basically destroyed me and the people who I talked to, bless those poor souls. They blocked me and I wonder what they think of me now. I got too hurt from this and the fact they were not willing to help me outta it SUCKS. Making another account and whoop! That's blocked, too. Creating another account with the same pfp (reason: logs) would flag the first one, and then ultimately the second one. They'd ban you thinkin you're fake duh and nah, there's no going back. They force you to verify yourself. That's okay, but some ppl don't own a phone (don't blame me, there're strict parents everywhere) or some ppl have unsupported browsers or incompatible devices. The last prob is somewhat bearable to a few, but others aren't. Getting blocked for no reason is a pain in the $#*!. Badoo tries to get people out who they find suspicious, but they fail to remove the real scammers or weirdass creeps and rather get the genuine ones out. Badoo, you're a legitimate diaster! There's literally no end to my hate for you for doing this to me and your help service is equivalent to none. They're like the robots pushing out the same manure again and again.

I was a user of Badoo for sometime and I will be honest I have decent experiences and some pretty bad ones and I simply thought that the rules of the game, you win some you lose some. But recently my original account was blocked for supposed reports of using the site "commercially" there was no real explanation beyond that and it happened so suddenly I never got to exchange information with a gentleman I was talking to that I wished to continue contact with so naturally I was pissed. I tried to reach out to Badoo and was told it would take about 24 hours or more to look into the issue. Badoo had the nerve to ask me take a survey after apparently accusing me of misusing their site so I told them exactly what I thought in the survey as well as in a review on google play. So, I created another account in hopes that I could find him and explain the circumstances but of course was bombarded with tons of guys who wanted to "talk". I spoke to one guy by the name of Jayson and it was fine but because there is no search option that i knew of on the mobile app I had to just look through the profiles and naturally my second account was blocked because according to them I wasn't following their terms and conditions. Retaliation, maybe? Duh. This site is absolutely $#*!. I can't tell you how many unsolicited $#*! pictures I have received, how many times I've been harassed simply because I didn't wanna talk to a particular person. NO ONE IS ENTITLED TO MY TIME OR ENERGY. IT IS MINE TO OFFER AND MINE TO DENY ANYONE I DEEM UNWORTHY! Well with that said Badoo is for weak $#*! perverts who can't take rejection. The fact that you can report a profile and there is no notice whatsoever to said person is ridiculous. Will never use this site ever again and I warn anyone who is thinking of using it. It seems cool at first but it doesn't take long for them to show their true colors.

Well, since I've tried so many dating sites, I can't really say that Badoo is the worst. There are so many awful sites, the competition is huge. It was cool using Badoo for some time, despite all the limitations you have, being a non-paying user. TBH, I never met anyone on Badoo, but I did have some chances.

There are actually few downsides on a technical issue, why you shouldn't use Badoo:

1. The most prominent issue is Search / browse feature. It is the worst of all sites. You can only filter by gender, age and location. Not by interests, language spoken, sexuality, looks, features... You can pick by Online status. But it is so poorly developed (on purpose, of course) that you can choose only between online users and all users. Which brings out tons and tons of profiles, who weren't active for 5 years or more. And the only info you see is that they haven't been online 7 + days.

2. They prompt you to rate them almost every time you log in. And if you rate them bad - explanation is mandatory.

3. Block user option only prevents them from writing a message. They can still visit your profile, see all details, spy on you.

4. Speaking of spying, you can track every user that has enabled Location services on his phone or browser to a 500 meters circle. Or even more precise. Is this even legal?

My agony began in the last few months. All of the sudden, they started offering me to promote my photo for free, meaning my photo will appear in their sorta "Hall of fame" for couple of hours. I accepted, thinking it can't do any harm. And later they asked me to pay for same service. Since I didn't want to, it seems I made them angry. The visits to my profile stopped, no Likes from girls. And every message I've sent ended only being "delivered", but never "read". Just to make things clear, I'm very picky to whom I send messages, so I'm not some sort of spammer. And at one point, I even lost the possibility to send messages to anyone. There's no Chat icon for me on any profile. First I need to Like that person. And after I do, they say I can't send message, because we didn't match yet. Unless I pay for credits, of course.

After a while, it started being frustrating. So out of curiosity I've created a fake girl profile, to check what's going on. And guess what!? My profile is nowhere to be seen. It doesn't appear in People nearby, I don't show as a visitor at all. My Like to that girl is also invisible. I can't send her a message. It's like I don't exist at all on Badoo. And that girl profile receives tons of visits, Likes and messages from other users.

Well, Badoo... Unlike many of people on Sitejabber, I'm not asking you to find me a girl, to arrange a date. I'm only asking for little decency. One star is what you get.

Edit: Badoo representative asked me in a message to provide my login credentials, so they can "solve the issue". And they took advantage to block my legit profile, because I publicly admitted I created a fake profile, with explanation why I did it. So much of a decency I asked for. SImpy don't use Badoo

Badoo hard-bitten me with their "Super Powers" for $95.99 USD. BE CAREFUL WITH BADOO, Please read:

In a summary, I subscribed to Badoo "Super Powers" by mistake and I, RIGHT AWAY asked them to cancel it and for a full refund, explaining that I inadvertently tapped the GIANT button to buy, and by the way, they don't have any 'back' or 'cancel' buttons, nor ask for confirmation before proceed and charge you, that's lack of ethics of the application, which also PRE-SELECT the option of 90 days :) ).

I tried to talk to them and explain what happened, but they wanted their unfairly charged money.

To me, It's a most unfair and insensitive way of doing business and making money, honestly, I see it as a robbery.

I DID NOT BOUGHT THAT to later ask for a refund, there are other cheaper options, if I wanted to try them, I would have bought another option in a legitimate way (a day or a month) and not by an induced purchase-flow of the application, made that way on purpose, to see if the users buys by mistake and then you can continue charging and charging and charging, because it also DOES NOT ASK THIS ANY TIME but tries to make paypal pay them from time to time, with auto-renewals that the user does not necessarily want and also they don't ask or confirm.

Badoo tries to make you buy with a single click or tap, in my case USD $95.99:

1 - A very expensive option pre-selected for you, almost 100 dollars (with the excuse "The most popular package")
2 - No "Cancel" or "Go back" button, just the big big one to make the purchase.
3 - The worst, NO CONFIRMATION, in other words, you tap (you can tap by mistake, like in my case), you get charged by 95.99 dollars:)
4 - On top of that... when I took a look to my paypal account, in the screen where you see the "Pre-Approved payments", There was BADOO as "Active" again (I disabled them long time ago), WHAT?, I don't want to auto-renew 95.99 dollars every 3 months, so that's very very very unfair, no confirmation, no ask, nothing.

This is an unfairly charge by Badoo, to me that's unscrupulous. They KNOW what they're doing, they are trying to get money this way from as many people as possible, be VERY CAREFUL, they will BITE you:)
