Had been using the site for quite a while, until my account was "blocked" with very little explanation (apparently I'd been scamming people- but I definitely hadn't) Went to their website, but couldn't even find details for a customer service contact. Disappointed.
I recently joined this site using their mobile app. The location states that there are several women that appeal to me within 100km of less in area's that are real but its an absolute scam designed to get you to upgrade for a myriad of reasons when, in reality you would end up with a bunch of obese tattooed bogans to choose from. Its a bit like OKC who never seem to have anyone in Australia or within 3000km and these free websites are such bull$#*! as they push all of the upgrade options. Can someone tell me in this era of equality why the hell men are the ones that have to pay?
Thanks for your review!
Our 'Encounters' feature uses top-notch technology to find people that you might be interested in. Because of this, there are several reasons why you may see people from other cities whilst playing Encounters:
1. From time to time, we might show you users outside your criteria if we believe that you might be interested in them.
2. Users who have voted for you while visiting your location will still be shown even if they aren't within your specified distance anymore.
3. Once you’ve voted on all the users in your area, our system will automatically find other users from places further away from your location.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. You can find our support tream at badoo.com/feedback or reach out to us on Facebook or Twitter with@BadooHelp.
On the 3rd of September 2019 I wanted to activate Badoo Premium for ONE day only. On the 6th of October 2019 I realised that you guys have been deducting money from my credit card every single day since the 3rd of September, a total of 34 days. I am very unhappy because of this. I have now paid an astronomical amount of R 831.64 over to you guys and I was not even aware of the daily deductions.
Under normal circumstances, one month would cost R 80.00, but I paid more than 10 times that amount for the same period and I was not even using the service or aware of the deductions.

I was blocked for a reason that confused me so I emailed Badoo asking what specifically resulted in me being blocked. Like a specific conversation for example. Instead of an explanation, a moderator replied and said that I violated community rules. I clicked the link that was provided in the response email so I could view the rules and possibly figure it out for myself since the email wasn't much help. And I found that what they said I was blocked for wasn't addressed in the rules. So, I wrote back pointing that out and they have not replied to me. It was been long past the 24 hour waiting period. Its frustrating because I have used Badoo for 2 years when I really should have stuck to Tinder or OkCupid.

I realized on 4/4/18 that I was debited 159 for annual fee for Badoo Premium service which I did not authorize nor did I press a button to confirm this purchase. I immediately after a hr of having this service looked for a contact number to codrially fight this charge. To not get hit with the You use the service you paid for line. I deleted the site 4/4/18. So I am expecting to get all of my money. But the lack of human contact via phone, and email is going make this difficult process. I am very angry and really thinking about an international class action lawsuit. I even called Dublin. I never let anyone take money from me in life. It aint going to star now.
Very limited number of matches and there seems to be ALOT of fake profiles of there. I get a lot of responses but they all hardly speak English and always seem to try to get money out of me. I understand that you will always encounter that in any dating site you go to but DAMN. It is without a doubt a complete waste of time.
I thought of this app as a better alternative for Tinder. But I've bleen blocked 3 times on this app for no particular reason. Even though I certainly didn't do anything wrong - I wasn't rude to anyone, my pics were fine with no nudity or any ads, I took a selfie to confirm my account as the system asked, I even purchased some additional packages to get this app work properly several times, and I certainly wasn't involved in anything illegal like selling drugs, texting to minors etc.
This is a dating app, right? So if my "Hi, can we get acquainted?" is interpreted as "sexual harrasment" then this is anything but a dating app. Or do you expect your users to hold conversations like some robots or monks in order to avoid some 'taboo' words? As I see, this is an app where you can get blocked for any reports from any users, even if you try to be as nice as possible. They can report you for no reason, just because 'you're not their type', and the system will then block your account for the report that is completely unfounded in nature.
What the hell you fake badoo customers report fake with take verify my details photo id for bastard fake user report without verify. You blind badoo customers those fake user bastard rascel abuse i report them mean u get block my id after ask me for verify my verifed id. Which kind of rascel badoo blind fake customers are u doing it block. Make it unblock. U shameless cheaters customers cant able to see mail chat reply Fix your fake stupid mistake?
I was fed up with the fake messages from fake profiles trying to sucker me into paying more, but the hardest part was trying to unsubscribe or delete my account.
It took 45 frustrating minutes to delete my account!
Even after unsubscribing I still received spam from them.
Hi Russell!
We're sorry you've had this experience with us.
Firstly, we can assure you that most profiles on our site are genuine - we take the security of our users very seriously and have a team of moderators working 24/7 to check all the reports we receive. If you find any suspicious profile, please report it using the 'Block and report' function and it will be checked asap.
Secondly, we try to make our app as user friendly as possible, which is why we have implemented a three-step profile deletion process. Simply:
1. Go to your own profile
2. Click the cog icon in the top right corner
3. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and click the 'Delete account' link
If you had any feedback on how we could make this better, we'd really appreciate it. We always listen to our users' voice to plan improvements on our platform!
Finally, the 'spam' that you mention may be invitations from your friends. You can unsubscribe from them by clicking on the icon at the bottom of the email. Also, if you wish, we can check if your account was correctly deleted. Simply send us a private message with the email address linked to your account and we'll look into it.
We hope this helps!
So I wanted to get back out there and start dating again and my friend told me about Badoo so I give it a try and its a bloody nightmare you try messaging women and you either get ignored or have to pay a membership or get verified with pictures, your mobile number its bloody ridiculous its not easy looking for love especially online when you've sites like Badoo that make it 100 times harder with women putting absolute bull$#*! cause they got verified and all that and men that just want a hook up believe me don't waste your time with this website cause its totally bull$#*!
They force me suddenly to verify my photo. I don't want this. Nothing to do with being fake i just don't want to give them access to my mobile phone with the app, i never use the app, always online via chrome webbrowser. Now i cannot use the site anymore but the worst thing is, i want to delete my account and this isn't possible anymore too!
Hi Fiona,
We're sad to hear you don't want to verify your profile but we do understand your scepticism when it comes to security. However, please allow us to assure you that we will not have unsolicited access to your mobile device, just your camera in order for you to take your photo to verify your profile. This permission is not in use unless you are taking the photo or taking a new photo of yourself to add to your profile, we're extremely respectful with device permissions. You can read more about this at badoo.com/privacy.
We'd also hate to see you go because of this but if you really want to delete your profile, you may reach out to our team at badoo.com/feedback or message our support team on Facebook, Twitter of Instagram with@BadooHelp. Be sure to use or include the email address you used to create your Badoo profile as this will help us to locate your profile and speed up the process.
We look forward to hearing from you,
Badoo Team
Filipina sends message to man, filipina want 3000 pesos for nude fotos, man says not interested, man blocks filipina, filipina send complaint to badoo saying man is doing commercial sales, badoo idiots send yellow card accusing without reason. Stay away from these fools.
When I send message it will deliver but it will not be reply. No view on my profile, and I get messages of people complaining that I don't reply to their messages but actually I did replied but they are not receiving any of my messages, I think is a technical issue
Hi Alice!

Signed up for free premium, with in minutes cancelled the premium service. It seemed shady so i made sure it was cancelled. Then somehow I started getting charged for premium even know it didn't say anything about me being premium on the app. Once I saw a withdrawal on my bank care i went on the app and saw I was premium only on the settings page. I cancelled premium service, only then did it say I was a premium member. Total scam. Of course they would never do that lmao sure

For some reason, I have been charged for Badoo premium even after I deleted my account in May 2018.
I have been charged 25 x £17.99 which is in total shocking £449.75. I didn't have any idea that this was happening until today because I was wondering what is this transaction from Social online paym.
When I reach to them and told them what happened to me they just told me that there is nothing that they can do for me and that I'm a liar!
Hi there Jan,
We're really sorry to hear that this happened. We have a team responsible for billing on Badoo, who look back into payment histories and take appropriate action. If our team have already looked into it, we trust that the right decision has been made after an investigation into the payments that were made.

I can't log in to badoo anymore for no reason. I'm blocked. Badoo wants me to take a picture... I just can't. Plus, I'm on a computer, not a phone, and then I can't deal with badoo's conditions to get log in again. Please badoo, can you unlock me. My name is jean déflorette.
Badoo is okay but they keep blocking my account and it has been multiple times. I'm following all of their protocols with post photos, but still get block after having my account for1 week. I thought it was a user at first but I have made multiple accounts and my account is blocked after week of having the account. I have always verify my picture with a picture of myself. I don't understand why it happen. I wouldn't recommend this app to anybody that is looking for a friend or relationship. It is a horrible dating site for real

Badoo, is a scandalous website dating service. Never do business with them. Their webpage is horrible to navigate through to delete your account. After much frustration I deleted my account they signed me up again without my permission. I went to my bank and got a new card. They still billed me. How they do it. If you get a card only to replace the prior one you had used to conduct business with them, they use their auto opt-in software. Wich recognizes the card change and automatically signs you up with your newly issued card, and continues then to exploit money from you. At your bank, when you get a new card issued be sure to opt-out of updating your banking card/info with Badoo.

I was on Badoo for about a year, posted my real photos and real information. Got hit on over 20,000 times. Only one person I met on the site was real. I got into a relationship with a guy who claimed to be from England. He romanced me for over a year. Tried to persuade me to come over to England... at my expense. A week before I was to leave, he asked me to send him $5000 pounds sterling... I refused. I still went to England and on a Mediterranean Cruise but without the lying scammer.
Answer: 99% are fake! When you engage with Badoo you expose yourself to fraud and rip off. Their "job" consists of making up fake profiles with stolen photos and reeling in gullible people. If you want dates and relationship, you may want to try http://J4Love.net This site has helped me and a friend of mine to meet many lovely women. My friend got married to one of them. I'm still undecided, but the site works. Don't waste your money on Badoo. What they do is try to get your money without providing any real service. You pay for talking with bots. You are buried in auto-generated messages and there are no real people willing to meet.
Answer: Hey Jahidul, Sorry to hear about this! If you could please send us a message with your registered email address or phone number, we'll be happy to look into this for you! Badoo Team
Answer: Hi Gunal! We work hard to keep a database of high quality real users, and our moderation team works 24/7 to spot any malicious profiles. Most of our users are really who they say they are! However, if you're still suspicious, we urge you to use the reporting feature to notify our moderators about a potential fake profile. Additionally, Badoo is completely free to use. We do have some additional features to increase your popularity, but they are totally optional. We hope this helps, but please do not hesitate to get in touch if otherwise!
