I had a terrible experience with Ava's flowers. First of all, their online presence is deceptive, looking "local" no matter where you search. But they definitely are not. They are a big corporation that farms out the orders to local dealers and takes a cut. In my case, I ordered two orders and only one was delivered. When I called them out on it, they apologized and promised to deliver the second order the next day and gave me a tiny $10 refund for my troubles. The next day, the bouquet they delivered was small and unimpressive - definitely not a value for what I paid for it. It looked nothing like the picture on the website. When I called and complained, they said they had "followed the recipe" to the letter, that I hadn't ordered what was pictured. While technically accurate, I find it deceptive. I will never order from them again.
Don't purchase through them. They are good. They have this set up to make you believe that it is legit but buyer beware. I ordered on 2/5/24 at 3 pm stating I needed delivery same day. I asked the Phillipino speaking order taker 3 times if they could guarantee same day delivery that night. He assured me 3 times yes they could. My niece was having a baby in Memphis and was only in the hospital until noon the next day. On 2/6/24, Ava's attempted delivery so they say and stated they could not find the niece in her room at the hospital. Their system kept blowing up my phone and emails with non delivery notices. This all looked legit. Then when I would talk to them about getting a credit they would put me on hold for up to 15 minutes and would come back on the line stalling and delaying giving me a credit. I gave them a house address to deliver and they never delivered the flowers there either. The fake emails of "we tried to deliver" continue to appear in my email. I gave them my debit card number on a link they sent me. I called my bank immediately to cancel the card before they could wipe out my bank account. Each time they attempted to call me from a toll free number I would get a different person each time all speaking with the Phillipino accent. The last one had chickens crowing in the background. These are virtual call centers where people in the Phillipines answer phones for business and are working during our normal work hours but it is night time for them. Don't give out your card to this company. I am now trying to get my money back from the bank.
I ordered sympathy flowers for a friend and what I selected was not what my friend got. I ordered an arrangement with five roses, five lilies and a cobalt blue vase. What she received had three roses, one lily and a clear vase. When I tried to rectify the problem I was left on hold and then disconnected. While the lady I spoke to was friendly she clearly was incompetent.

From the first phone call to the last this company disappoints! I called and the rep had a very heavy accent (not his fault) but it took forever to make him understand my name, address and email. THEN the call disconnected! 😡. So I call back. Get the info across to the next rep and confirmed what I wanted and the desired colors. She assured me that while the did not have tulips this soon in the year (understood) they could achieve a 'springy' color scheme with white daisys, purple delphinium and yellow iris. I said fine. What daughter received had NONE of these colors and looked like a thanksgiving centerpiece! Very poorly arranged at that. Now the frustration of trying to reach them again…calls disconnected, manager busy and will have to call back. They finally gave me a $20 refund. I was just glad to be done wasting my time with them! Don't use Ava's flowers unless you like headaches, poor customer service and ugly arrangements!
I am very dissapointed for my recent order with Avas Flowers, I feel that I have no respect to my relatives when seeing the flowers, feel shame and not want to take the picture, no band and no word on order as we discussed, I told the representative please charge me the way it should be for what i want. The product is not up to standard. Please, business is for long term, do not treat your customer this way,... I always order flowers ahead and I will arived later to check on it. 🤦🏻
Avas Flowers is an absolute ripoff. They will steal your money and not deliver your flowers. Attempted recovery of money is a waste of time. They will tell you someone will call you and they will not. Total run around.
I placed an order for an arrangement two days ahead of a funeral service. I gave a specific time that I wanted the arrangement delivered before (11am CST.), when the viewing was to begin. I arrived at the funeral home at 11 & the flowers hadn't been delivered. I waited an hour to allow for the delivery. I contacted the location where I placed the order. I was told that the designer contacted the funeral home & was told the service was not until 2 PM. I explained that I didn't care what the funeral home told them that I had specified a time for them to be delivered. They gave me $10 credit for the problem & assured me the delivery would be made by 1:30 PM. The flowers arrived 1 minute prior to the funeral service at 2:00 pm. It had the flowers in the arrangement that I had ordered, but they were not arranged as indicated in the picture. Unfortunately, due to the arrival time, I did not get a picture of it. It was to be an arrangement of yellow roses with white lilies, carnations & greenery. It looked like the roses had been stuck towards the back, and everything else spread around them. I was very disappointed, but since it is so difficult to get in touch with them, I just decided not to bother. However, I guarantee you I will never order from them again.
They charge you $24.95 for a service fee, for doing the job you hired them to do! DON'T ORDER FROM THEM, THEY ARE A RIP OFF. I've filed a complaint with the State AG to look into this practice because at no point are you informed about this fee added to your bill. You authorize 65.00 and without your knowledge they tack on the 24.95. Totally illegal. Contact your State AG and file a complaint better yet don't order from them.
This business is a scam I suggest never doing business with them what a nightmare. They are not trustworthy with their information. They stated delivery couldn't be made due to inclement weather in my area. The delivery was 1,622 miles away where weather was ok. Bill $117.59 refund was $94.59. Charged a service fee. What service? Scammer's.
THE WORST! I placed the order ten days BEFORE the birthday, no call, no information until AFTER the birthday, asking for a different address to deliver them to, and then I had to fight to get a refund!
I ordered my mom's birthday flowers on Jan 9 to be delivered by the 11. On the 11th, they told me they can't deliver them until the 12 and it has to be a different bouquet. She promised me it would be as beautiful as the one I originally chose. What a joke! I tried to show photos but it will not allow them to upload. I could have bought better flowers at Walmart for $10 or less. Please don't trust this company.
I ordered flowers for my friend funeral.
It should be delivered on Monday no later than 6:30pm. It was pushed for Tuesday morning, promising that I'll receive confirmation call after delivery and my basket will be delivered before the service. The flower basket WAS NEWER DELIVERED to a funeral home. No one called. It was so big shame! I've newer had such an terrible experience in my life. Don't order flowers from that company.

Delivered flower arrangement to a front porch northern Indiana in January. Unwrapped and no door knock of phone call. Arrangement was substituted to not impressive. And flowers frozen solid. Said they would redeliver later, missed the event.
I ordered a rush delivery and they didn't rush it or deliver it the day after it's ridiculous NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE WITH OTHER FLWOER SITES! 1-800 flower is much better never had an issue with them!
I ordered a large spray for my mom's funeral, it was nothing like the picture, flowers were not the same and size was alot smaller not to mention colors were very different than picture, very dissatisfied, they didn't seem to care to fix it or make it right, never order from them again.
I picked this company originally thinking I was using a small business for my flower needs. I was so wrong. If I was offered free flowers from this company I wouldn't take them because I truly never want to have to deal with them and their horrible customer service again. They did a horrible job with flowers I ordered for a grieving family on Christmas and showed no empathy or interest in correct their mistake. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Search florists in any city, they show up. They accept orders with no ability to find a local florist. The Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rfund policy is a joke. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
I should've read all the other complaints with Consumer Affairs. I ordered an arrangement with this company to be sent to a friend for Christmas. What they sent her, contained dying flowers, no Christmas bow and no red vase as were clearly advertised and paid for. Contacted the company via phone but there is no way to speak to anyone a recorded message that hangs up on you. I sent him a complaint via their website. They contacted me telling me I could either have my friend be "available" to return the order and get a new one, or they'd give me a total refund if my friend "made herself available" to return it, or they would give me a 50% "discount" and she could keep the dying arrangement! Who does Business like that? This is pathetic! First off, my friend isn't able to "make herself available" at their convenience...nor should she have to, since it was their fault for sending her an arrangement that was not only dying, but wasn't the one that was even close to the one being ordered! Absolutely pathetic. Again my fault as I should've read the numerous and terrible complaints lodged with Consumer Affairs. Do NOT order from this company.
Answer: Scam! They are not a local company, they cannot deliver, and if they do, apparently they are completely wrong or dead flowers. They don't want to deliver flowers for you... they are after your $30 service fee. They hope you cancel your order and they keep the fee. STAY CLEAR! No customer service and a website full of legalese... can you appear any more fraudulent? A scam, a fraud, a company that uses COVID-19 and your mother (Mother's Day) to steal money from the public. They need to be in jail.
Answer: You cannot. Their number is an automated attendant that hangs up on you and email is unmonitored. This is a scam.
Answer: Sometimes easy and quick is mot the way to go when it comes to a loved one. I learned my lesson.
