The Manger is a real jerk thinking you can intimidate me you better think twice. He said I can have my cake and eat in too...
Battery purchase with expectation free installation, knew make and model of car. Refused installation because of fuses on positive terminal. $65 later was totally incorrect, simple disconnect negative first first installment complete. Allen park Autozone did not want to install battery, VERY DISATIFIED
I bought blend doors from Autozone.com and paid the extra shipping to have it delivered it 2 days. I called the day after I ordered to check the status of my order to find out that Crown hasn't even shipped it yet. Frankly, I'm very displeased with Autozone.com and will never purchase from them again. My vehicle interior is completely dismantled due to replacing the heater core. I noticed the blend doors were bad and went online to find the fastest replacement so I ordered them with the guarantee of 2 day delivery if I paid the extra. I missed work for 2 days waiting on a part that hasn't left the supplier. Now I'll have to put it all back together just so I can get to work and then dismantle it all again when the part comes. If there was a way I could sue them for the loss of work I would. I won't step back into an AutoZone either.
I bought wipers employee install them a few days later I put on wipers, it flew off causing to break my windshield. The manager doesn't want to take accountability for the employee. A billion dollar company and never take accountability for the mistakes of the employees. This happened a few months back now it's gotten longer and will get worst as time goes on. Just not fair I have to pay for something I have no fault of.
This was the worst online ordering experience I've ever had.I've never had a delivery driver steal my order. "WTH" I call the store and THEY act like it was my problem and not theirs. This was my first time using AutoZone Online and my Last time.:-(
My other review, I typed 2.50 I meant they have part and $250.00 of my money and still, nothing. Wanted to correct that mistake. As you can see, The one they sent is way bigger shaft than the one I ordered in the photo. So update, I did get a refund from AutoZone and I thank them but still say their customer service people can't tell you nothing. They only know to say what you want to hear.
I ordered online from Autozone.com. The headlights I received were previously opened, returned and are no longer functioning. This was clearly a return, with greasy fingerprints, security label removed and damage to the box.
I've lost my faith in Autozone.com, Im super disappointed in them. I have come to expect some kind of problem from every order
Paid for my purchase on the 5th, a shipment to someone else arrived on the 11th, quoted the 7th at checkout. I immediately contacted customer service, it took 24 hours to get a response. They were not interested in getting me the correct parts, their focus was only on getting the incorrect parts back to them. It took me 5 days to get a return label for the incorrect shipment. (I'm still waiting to see if they will ship my package)
Autozone was not willing to correct their shipping mistake and customer service seams designed to make the process more difficult.
25 years of loyalty properly rewarded
My battery just died on me exactly 2 months after my warranty expired. The AAA assistant technician showed me 5 batteries in his trunk, all purchased from auto zone and all died between one and three months after the warranty expired. I spoke with Elda the rude and unhelpful manager of this God Forsaken store in Northridge, and was told that I was not eligible for any kind of battery replacement nor any discounts. I've been going to Auto Zone for my car parts since I was 22 years old. Is it a coincidence that all batteries purchased from Auto Zone die 2 months after the warranty expires. There's no coincidences, and don't expect them to give you the time of day either.
I went to store #3686 to replace my car battery that was under warranty, and the acting store manager (I believe that is her position since she wears a different uniform) denied the replacement, I mentioned that I had already talked on the phone with a manager that asked me to bring the vehicle for the replacement, and this "manager" laugh at me and said: "good morning, have a good day", turning her back on me. I went to store 4269, the store where I purchased the battery, and the manager, great at customer service, responded immediately honoring AutoZone warranty. Store 3686 supervisor erodes AutoZone brand and frankly, she is in need of training. She showed no compassion, care or even interest in the case and set the wrong example for the employees in the store. One of them was trying to help me and she overrode his actions and cancelled the case. She was disrespectful and made fun of what I was saying, was rude and does not understand AutoZone's pledge: always put customers first! Simply unacceptable
I purchased and installed their top of the line gold series pads and rotors in my silverado 1500. After 5 months of mostly hywy driving they are shot! I talked to others and they have the same complaints. I will not attempt to even return the parts for the so-called lifetime warrentee as they will probably not honor it anyway. Also these were ceramics and were supposedly being ceramic should not create brake dust, which they did, EXCESSIVELY! Cheap Asian quility parts in my humble opinion. I now have purchased and installed OEM ROTORS AND PADS. ON my last truck I did that and got over 2 years out of brakes and no rotor wear. They can keep anything made by Duralast as the stuff don't last!
I purchased a car battery in January, 2024, with a 3 year guarantee, in Portland, Oregon. It failed in May, 2024. I returned it with proof of purchase for a replacement. The young man at the counter insisted that I must also furnish my phone number. I had not given them my phone at the time of purchase. He was demanding and refused to honor their guarantee. I had to buy a $130 battery elsewhere.
I bought a new battery in 2023 installed it on my motorcycle didn't ride it because of three surgeries when I tried to start the bike the battery was dead went back to AutoZone they told me it was out of warranty Jesus the battery is brand spanking new is that how you trade veterans thank you so much AutoZone
They are much better now compaired to last August. Being short-staffed and under pressure does not help The assistant manager is much better now they seem to be well staffed now.
The Store manager at this location is wonderful but the assistant manager is miserable. I ordered parts and when I came to the store they said it was not in yet come back later. So I did and the box that was there earlier was mine so I made 2 trips for no reason plus one of the parts was the wrong size. Plus the hired a guy that was a former manager at Mavis tire that ripped off many customers. WOW! I do love Autozone but they need a employee overhaul again the store manager is wonderful.
I return a part that was under warranty it was catch 22 with word to the wise don't buy or purchase anything with a card autozone play okie dok return money to cards that no longer exist and store associate tell customers to go to a bank to refund your whereas it's not true no bank does print out receipt make believe the refunded you your money bad practice for company that train managers staffers these practices
I was given the meanest treatment in any auto shop at Auto Zone store #6030 near Magnolia Avenue Pearland Area, thanks to Terri who was on her personal phone texting and made we wait for awhile when there were no customers. Even when I said can you help me she looked irritated and I asked her if she can look up the battery for my car on the computer and she refused. I would stop buying Auto Zone stock because of the worst customer service and thoroughly boycott them until they learn to treat their customers like human beings and not dogs. Surprised how people like this still work for Auto Zone! ðŸ˜
I cant be specific enough. This company is the absolute worst when it comes to customer service as well how they choose to staff their locations. It seems like every location I've been to in gainseville is equipped with kids that have little to no knowledge of automotive knowledge. The few people ( adults) they did have working at these stores are no longer with them company and I can't blame them. Here's a real kicker too AutoZone discriminate against people that's are handicapped or have disabilities. A damn shame. And they should be embarrassed of their corporate staff that condone such behavior.
On January 16,2024, I purchased a muffler and an exhaust gasket from AutoZone.com and paid an extra $4.99 for 2-day delivery.
Problem #1: The muffler was late, arriving on January 19.
Problem #2: The muffler is dented, which came as no surprise considering that it came in no package whatsoever, just a muffler wrapped in a little plastic—not even bubble wrap.
Problem #3: The two muffler support arms, which get installed through hanger holes, do not bulge at their ends, leaving the support arms at risk of sliding out of the hangers.
Problem #4: While I was waiting for the exhaust gasket to arrive so I could fix my car, I was using the only other vehicle that I own: a motorcycle. But coming home every day with hands that were nearly frostbitten left me with little choice but to reuse an old gasket of mine and install AutoZone's muffler, which I did on January 23. (I had to rig the muffler support arms with thick zip-ties to reduce the risk that the arms slid out of the hanger holes.)
Problem #5: On January 25, I called AutoZone customer service number and spoke to a "Louis." When I told him I wanted my $5.60 back for the gasket that never came, he told me that he could not issue me a refund and that he must "submit a request" for one because my order for the gasket was "special." Dumbfounded, I asked him what made my order so. He replied that what made my order special was that it was coming from Memphis. Say what? AutoZone's headquarters are in Memphis—headquarters, by the way, that it would take me all of three hours to drive to from the address that the gasket was supposed to be delivered to. Louis might as well have told me that my order was special because his favorite color is blue. So I told him he needed to have my $5.60 credited back to my card within "a few days."
I waited until February 1 to see if AutoZone had credited my card, and they had not. So that day I wrote and mailed a letter of complaint to their headquarters in Memphis, telling them what happened and that I wanted my $5.60 credited back to my card by the close of business on February 14.
Well, we are now one full week past that date, and I still don't have my $5.60 back (or the new gasket, which I ordered over a month ago and which of course is useless to me to now).
Just wanted to thank to all the people involved that helped me with the parts on a 2013 JX35 which was giving me problems with a seal for the transmission cv axle I hope this gets o someone that can give these people a raise or some sort of reward for the help i got while i was there
I was at autozone Saturday February 17, I bought a wiper blade, I asked the girl to change it for me she told me no it's not her job even if it was her job she still wouldn't do it, it's cold out they are sure handed, o say are you serious, I uselly get good service, but I will never shop at autozone again, she was an assistant manager, she was rude unprofessional lazy, about 5 7 tall black hair glasses, I think she mite be mentally unstable, stay far away from this store, greenridge st Scranton pa
Bought a vehicle of this company. Turned out they had pushed it through an mot and it "passed" but the same issues were still there. Vehicle was not fit for purpose. We had a courtesy car at least from them but waited for a month and the repairs were still not done. Got offered another car and the engine on that was knackered too! In short horrible company, poor customer service skills except Katie. Cars were not 100% road worthy. Company were not interested in the customer or how they we're effected by the horrible experience. Beth the assistant account manager was the rudest, most unhelpful and dam right unsympathetic, non supportive person I have ever had to deal with. Refusing to give details to form a complaint and/or details for her actual manager. She had my wife in tears!
I would avoid this company like the plague. WORST experience I have had in 50 years of my life.
Answer: Nope. Bunch of ameteurs. Even their oil and windshield wiper fluid is way overpriced. If you want your order to be fulfilled correctly, them go somewhere else. Amazon is too incompetent to handle even basic orders placed via their app. Customer service list tells you "Oh well". Pathetic.
Answer: It's not too hard to find someone working inside Autozone. What's hard to find in Autozone is someone who doesn't argue with a person who is qualified to work on practically every vehicle and knows what they're talking about. I guess that being a computer jockey makes them a certified mechanic.
Answer: If not in any particular hurry, I prefer to wait for 3-5 days to get my auto parts which was ordered on Hexautoparts. Com. They has lowest price with the most cooperative customer service. I saved a lot of money with HexAutoParts.
