On 3/18/25 I purchased a MAXpider Custom Fit Kagu cargo liner from Autoplicity through Amazon for my 2025 Volvo XC90. On 3/20/25 I noticed that the item I purchased had not shipped. I contacted their customer service with my concern and was advised by Mary N and Har$#*! M. That they did not have the item and therefore needed to cancel the order. How long would I have waited for them to discover they didn't have the item if I didn't bring it to their attention? How ironic is the fact that their first bullet in their business philosophy is " If you show them a product is available make sure it really is". How are they able to sell something they don't have? I understand I'm just the little guy who purchased something from them one time, but first impressions last along time and are hard to forget. If you are selling something and post it for sell, make sure you have it to deliver…...
I will never use AUTOPLICITY again! Nowhere in their website do they mention 30% restocking fee but they withheld from my refund after I accidentally ordered the wrong part. I emailed them within minutes of ordering and they chose to ignore my emails and shipped it out.
There are WAY better sellers out there, don't waste your time with these clowns.
I ordered a part through Amazon that was shipped by Autoplicity. I received a cheap knock off brand instead of the brand they were advertising. I contacted customer service and was sent a return label to return the part. I also did a live chat on their website to see if they would guarantee if I reordered I would receive the correct name brand part, they assured me I would. Well guess what I got the same off brand part a second time. Now I have to go through the hassle of returning it again to fix there screw up. I called them out on this and was basically told they couldn't care less, either send it back or don't. I found out after the second time they tried to screw me over by sending a cheap off brand part that their BBB accreditation has already been suspended for poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid Autoplicity at all cost. They are either false advertising or bait and switching, either is unethical and possibly against the law.
I am very disappointed with the way my order and subsequent return were handled by your company.
I tried to cancel the order about 10 minutes after I had placed it because I had used the wrong shipping address. I was told later that it could not be cancelled and had already shipped (see below).
I feel that the order could have been cancelled if I was able to reach your company on the phone, which does not keep the business hours that you advertise.
Then I return the item, unopened and received a reimbursement of only 55% of what I had originally paid for the item! That is absurd! I understand the return shipping cost, but that combined with "handling" totaling 45 % of the price (in my case $88) is unacceptable, especially when your web site says "most purchases can be returned for free for 30 days". See attachment at bottom of email.
You are misleading buyers with your web site. S&H costs should be explained in better detail in the returns page of your website.
I would never had returned the item had I known that the s&h costs would be so high.
I would have recouped more of my money selling the item outright on my own!
Ordered a steering box for a 1978 bronco. Autoplicity sent me the wrong part. Customer service admitted that they made the mistake and sent me the wrong part. They're even still advertising the wrong part on Amazon. Even though was completely their fault they refuse to send the correct part, instead they just try to justify the incompetence. Filing complaints with the better business bureau. Save your time and money and find a more reputable company. I wish I had read their reviews before ordering anything from them. That's their ad in the pic. That part is wrong, goes to a different vehicle. Even after telling them it's wrong it's still there for sale
Purchased the incorrect part (my fault). Requested a return the same day it was received. Again, difficult process to navigate, resulting in calling directly to arrange. After returning the UNOPENED part, I was reimbursed $62 from the original price of $118. Never again. AVOID this company like the plague!
So many interesting gadgets and car accessories. I felt like a little boy in a toy store when I opened their website for the first time. Actually, it was the same when I opened the second, the third time… and every other time :D
I had some really old mats in my car, so I decided to give priority to new mats and bought Lloyd mats from here.
I have so many other things on my wishlist and probably will buy more from this store.
The prices are reasonable, which is very important, and they deliver, too.
Ordered 2 parts. They shipped one correct and one incorrect. It took me a week of fighting to get them to admit they'd sent the wrong part. Told them to send the correct part. They declined and issued a refund for the part only, not the shipping which I have to pay for again. I had to cancel the credit card charge. Avoid at all costs.
I ordered a part on Wednesday morning paid for the over night fee of $82 I called Thursday to find out where my part was the lady on the phone said I wouldn't even get my tracking number until Friday. So Friday came got a tracking number and now my part has been lost at ups and won't be here until Monday.worst service ever will never order anything from them again.
They advertised a gold door handle and I ordered it and they sent me a black one and they would not give me a refund this is a scam company watch out for them be careful they do false advertising they show you one thing and they send you something else
I purchased a set of 4 window deflectors for my toyota at a cost of $99.55 using their vehicle format and when I got them in they were about 6 inches too long. It took me several weeks to get a return number. I sent them back and that cost me $24.55 so really I'm due a refund of $124.10 well, they kept giving me the run around until I finally got to talk to someone on 9/21/23 and he explained that they charged me a shipping fee and a restocking fee even though they were the ones who made the mistake. Long story short, I got a refund of $23.43 so I lost $100.67 messing with these people. So buyer beware of these people because they like your money and once they get it you won't get it back...
Ordered two Monroe shock absorbers. RECEIVED MERCHANDISE DATED 2016! Boxes banged up, torn, and taped together. Missing hardware from one. Shocks slightly different from each other. I've asked for a return shipping label and refund. So now they jerk me around referring to 'damaged in transit' and to take pics, etc. so they can file a claim with the shipper. That's NOT the problem and I explained the problems clearly and in detail. The actual shipping box was fine. EIGHT YEAR OLD MERCHANDISE? Better to pay a little more and get 'new' product and no run-around. This outfit is a borderline scam, and they jerk you around and delay hoping you will just go away.
Tried to inquire about the color/finishes of these rotors prior to ordering them being they're over $1200 for a set and the representative that answered was extremely rude and less than helpful. He stated that if they were incorrect and wrong color but they "fit the application," I'd be stuck with them and they wouldn't return them. I asked repeated for a serious explanation to his outlandish remarks and to my surprise, he was dead serious! I was mindblown.I will NEVER purchase anything from them.
Turn back why you still can this company will lie to you about shipping. First it says free shipping then it's 999 shipping and then I pay for shipping and the company lies to you saying it's shipped when in fact I called FedEx with the tracking number they provided and FedEx tells me all they did was create a label and they don't even have my package. So I demand a full refund one lady was rude hung up on me the other lady wouldn't give me a refund tells me what I was talking about didn't matter. Then I called back an hour later and she tells me they've already shipped it and now I have to pay for shipping run why you still can do not use this company there lier's and thieves. If there was a no star I would leave them no stars there was a negative I'd give negative 10
I Purchased a bull bar for my car. The Autoplicity Co. Told me it takes two days to ship the item. Then they told me it takes two months to get it. I canceled the order and I can't get my money back. They told me that order was canceled that's not true. I called PayPal and told them what's going on. PayPal opened the dispute on that company. I don't recommend to buy anything from Autoplicity.
I received a damaged motor. Autoplicity took the position that since there was no visible damage to the packaging they would not replace it. Two wires were crimped (one actually broke) from being wedged against the carton but they did not feel that poor packing was their fault. I would be very careful ordering from this company given their cavalier position on returns.
Needed a new radiator. Used Autoplicity's fitment feature on their website, entering year, make, model and displacement of my car. The fitment returned the stock number of the item to order, so I ordered it. Cost a little over $160. Radiator arrived, but when I tried to install it, it didn't fit. Mounting holes did not line up with the holes in the vehicle's frame. Called Autoplicity to request a return. Customer service told me that if the item has been installed, or if it was attempted to be installed, or if all of the original packaging and information was not with the item, the return would be refused. More bad news, Autoplicity (dba TH Motorsports) would not pay the return shipping. I got quotes from three different carriers and the cheapest was $142. So through no fault of my own, I have to spend $142 to MAYBE get back my $160, even though the error was not mine. Pretty austere return policy. Had I ordered this on my Amazon Prime account, they would have paid the return shipping and sent me the correct replacement radiator. There's a reason why customers shop the well known online stores like Amazon and Walmart. So, Autoplicity burned me once, but they will never get a chance to do it again. This was their one and only sale to me. Oh, and if you should have to talk to Autoplicity's customer service people, don't expect to get any warm fuzzies from the CSR's.
Ordered product on amazon... shipping said it had yet to be pulled from warehouse at the time i cancelled the order... 2 weeks go by and now they want to charge me a 20 percent restocking fee... save yourself the head ache shop another vendor these guys are horrible
Made a purchase parts was always on back order waited about 8 months so I decided to cancel my order got the run around and never received my exhaust or a refund!
Sent emails and no reply back from the company
Autoplicity has no communication skills. Ordered part on 11/9/20 got email with order confirmation number. I sent an email 11/11/20 asking for shipping tracking information. Got no response. Called Autoplicity on 11/16/20 and asked about my order. Spoke with Jennifer who informed me that Autoplicity had refunded my credit card stating the part was out of stock. I checked before writing this review and Autoplicity still shows 10 of these parts, # 590-200, in stock. I will never do business with this company again. Stan J
Answer: I've been told that the site is owned by the same guys that ran autopartsdealer.com which is now out of business and screwed a lot of people http://www.linkedin.com/in/seanmcwherter
