I stumbled upon a sale for a vintage Chanel bag/a rare one. I refuse to support counterfeit sellers. Having it authenticated put my mind at ease tremendously - and now I'm confident the bag I'm carrying is not only rare but authentic.

I tried Authenticate First for the first time today. I gave them 3 items that I was already fairly certain were real. I wanted to see what their thoughts were. All 3 items came back as authentic. One had some other information about the item, which I believe was also correct. I trust them and I'm thankful to have a certificate of authenticity to give my buyers.

I was shopping for authentication services online and was very glad to find AuthenticateFirst. The process was quick and easy. The fee is reasonable too. I'll definitely comeback and recommend it to my friends.

I sent a fendi bag in for authentication to both Authenticate First and Real Authentication (which is MORE reliable) and AF came back in authentic whereas Real Authentication said the bag was real. I asked Authenticate First to re-asses to bag and they have horrible customer service. The owner says " We understand that another service may provide a different opinion, however, that does not make our opinion wrong just because it's the opinion you want to accept."

How unprofessional!

I sent in pictures of a bag I bought from Fashionphile. They guarantee authenticity, but I wanted to be sure I was getting the quality of product that I expected.

The process was easy, and I heard back rather quickly... to hear it was authentic.

I uploaded all the photos Authenticate First required on the first submission. That included the Christian Dior Logo on the inside of a Dior belt and the words "PARIS" are very clear in the photos as well.

I get a request for a picture of the serial number from Authenticate First (if they knew what you were doing you would know Christian Dior belts do not have serial numbers) AND a request for a picture of the county or origin stamp... well... they ALREADY have a picture of it from the original submission.

I asked the chat they have on the website what was going on but go ZERO responses. They do not have a functioning email either. The website says to contact *******@authenticate first and it just bounces back any email you send.

I submitted the same exact pictures to another authentication company and got my results in just under 3 hours.

Whenever I'm in need of an authentication, I without a doubt use AuthenticateFirst! Their prices are fair and the turn around time is SO quick, sometimes even quicker than what they advertise. You can also order digital certificates for authentic items which come in super handy when you plan to resell! That peace of mind from knowing your item was professionally authenticated is always worth it!

Can't thank AuthenticateFirst enough! There's no reason to worry about buying pre-owned online any longer. They are lightning fast with their service and the peace of mind that comes with their authentication service plus adding the valuation iis invaluable. I'm used to buying preloved fashion, but for my first "bigger" designer purchase I wanted to be extra save, even though the bag had been authenticated by the platform I purchased it on. I myself inspected the bag and thought it was authentic, but one detail made me suspicious. Since that platform is somewhat known for falsely authenticating fake designer goods (won't say which platform it was, you know which one I mean), I decided to get it authenticated by AuthenticateFirst and Voila!, it's a fake. With proof from AuthenticateFirst I got my money back, so the investment was definitely worth it! I've authenticated another bag with them as well (no counterfeit this time) and will continue to do so.

So glad I found this site to verify a recent purchase I made on Poshmark. I looked at other authentication sites but they didn't have the option of providing written verification if needed for a refund/dispute and they didn't seem as legitimate as Authenticate First. The Jimmy Choo I bought checked all the boxes for being authentic and I was pretty sure it was- it just arrived with a weird smell so I wanted a second opinion. I received confirmation in less than 24 hours that it is authentic. I also paid extra to get an estimated value (what a great option for only an additional $5!). To my surprise, it valued at about twice what I paid for it! I'm so happy to have a source to go to for confirmation. Especially with such reasonable prices. The $25 was money well spent for peace of mind! I will definitely be a repeat customer. I've got 3 more bags to go! Thank you Gina for such a great service!

Most of these one star reviews are from people who authenticate only once with this company and from people who only own a few bags. I've handled thousands of handbags in my time and can spot a fake better than most people. I can say I've used this company for probably more than 50 authentications (mostly Chanel, LV and Hermes) and agreed on almost every result. They're not amateurs, they can spot fakes for sure... but don't forget that they're also human. There have been a couple times where I was bothered by some words exchanged but that's life, nothing's perfect, and I'm sure they deal with a lot of crazy people daily.

I got my vintage dior saddle authenticated by them and it was so simple and easy. They were so fast and got back to me within a few hours even though I just selected the normal service. 10/10 would recommend them!

I always use authenticatefirst before buying a preloved bag. Nowadays, there's a lot of counterfeit bags nowadays and I don't want to be fooled by these online sellers. Authenticate.com is dependable. Highly recommended 5
