Everyone seems to be getting reviews from "2 experts." Don't give these 2 idiots your money. Not only did AuthenticateFirst fail to provide half of what I paid for, them deeming my bag as real was incorrect. The site that I bought it from accepted the return and stated that it was indeed, as I suspected, faux. What they leave out on their Instagram is that they type "this letter cannot be used for PayPal or other dispute" on their "Certificate of Authentation" despite the fact that this is both illegal and incorrect. Don't be a fool like me and impulsively trust them.

Edit & response: Notice how they provide more information about each case and customer, and rebuttal in the comments whenever people post their authentic complaints? Edit the layout of the graph then on your website, because it's extremely misleading. I have no obligation to provide you proof, but I'm more than willing to provide it to PayPal when I escalate the case for my refund. I genuinely don't care if I even get my money back, it's more so about this company having next to no integrity. You also aren't the judge of what people believe, seeing as it's a consistent negative and there was trash about this company on TheDirty as well. Also, what you write on the website and the review about it not being allowed to be posted during a review is illegal. People sign nothing consenting to the nonsense, so it's bullying customers into not providing proper proof when filing a dispute. Even if my $20 isn't returned, I can't wait until someone is fed up to the point of escalating and suing this company. Do you think the $69,000 made in the first year will be enough to cover it?

I was worried about buying a high-end designer purse from The Real Real consignment store after seeing multiple posts from other reviewers that they were sold fake items that were advertised as authentic. The Real Real (review to come after I receive the order) took some time to get back to me, so I decided to use this online authentication company, which has stellar reviews (in other forums - not Site Jabber - I'm perplexed by the other 2 reviewers before me - I'm not sure they actually worked with AF before) and works with a seller that I do trust to see what they think. I strongly recommend getting things third-party authenticated prior to purchasing anything second-hand. In any case, I bought the $10 non-expedited service from Authenticate First (AF) and sent them the link from The Real Real's website on a high-end item that after much, much research, I felt was very likely authentic. The AF order was placed on a Thursday night (after business hours), and they posted their turn around time as 2 business days (so I expected the results to come in on Monday). To my delightful surprise, I received their determination of authenticity Saturday afternoon (which, to The Real Real's credit, the item in question was deemed authentic) and this allowed me to confidently make my purchase on the item I had been eyeing for a week or so. I did not actually call Authenticate First's customer service, so I cannot comment on any experience as such, but it says much when you can get a service completed smoothly, professionally, and efficiently without having to contact customer service separately. Thank you AF for a great experience, and I know I will be using this service again in the future.

Their website provides for a convenient photo-uploader tool, which allows easy, on-site uploading of your pictures and which helps them to proceed with the authentication process as fast as possible. Immediately after uploading my pictures, I received a confirmation e-mail which stated that my photos were received succesfully and the authetication was in progress.

I paid 10 dollars for my e-mail authentication and think it's a fair fee, considering I received my authentication quickly without me having to chase or send out reminders.

My communications with the company through e-mail were proactive, polite and quick, which to me is very important. I've broken off plenty of deals due to flaky companies or sellers.

Should I decide to buy a rather expensive preloved bag again, I will certainly be back to have it reviewed by Authenticatefirst before I make my purchase. Thanks!
