I have used the services of Authenticate First twice. They correctly identified the first item as counterfeit and the second item as authentic. Their turnaround time is fast and their prices are fair. Having a certificate of authenticity is necessary for resale these days. I have used A1st several times with my LV purses. I have always received the best service. They only give their statement after very close examination, they do not hesitate to ask for more pictures if needed. That tells me, they are just not guessing, but really examine the items in question. I can truly recommend them and I surely will be a returning customer.
Poor website, no email updates to notify you there are awaiting a response from you. Took too long for the price of $45. I've found cheaper options for $25 that responded the same day and were very friendly. Wouldn't recommend.

I found the review above when I was looking for info on authenticatefirst.com. Boy are they right! This site is just 2 women from Indiana who threw together a website and make money on bogus reviews! They actually made $69,000 last year, their first year of business! I want to say "fake" or "real" and print out a certificate for $$$. What a joke! They have no clue what they are talking about. They were wrong about my Louis Vuitton and someone paid good money for their "expertise". Oh yeah, about that... where is their resume? What makes them experts? Yeah, nothing. They are just new scam artists. Buyer beware!
You are very misguided about Authenticate First, who they are as a company and their authenticators. While 1 of the Founders resides in Indiana, everything else you stated is far from the truth. Our authentication team consists of many authenticators, who reside world wide. Each authenticator has many years of experience in buying, selling and authenticating. Each authenticator also has professional experience in the brand they authenticate. Many of our authenticators work for other authentication companies, well known websites (on their authentication team) as well as volunteer their services on social media sites, such as the Purse Forum. Our clientele includes many well known and reputable websites and consignment shops worldwide. I'm sorry if your agenda was declared fake, but you are more than welcome to get a 2nd opinion.
The review on "The Dirty" was written by a known scam artist, who we exposed for selling fakes. He also altered our authentication letters in order to sell his fakes. He's been sued so many times, he had to close his shops and re-brand under a different name. Again, a very misguided internet post that is far from the truth.

Customer was rude and refused to believe her 2 fake Chinese made Louis Vuitton are fake. We did all we could but she would not accept it and demanded a refund for no reason.
Their website has improved drastically. For the better! However, still the same grade A+ quality service! They really take the time to review each and every little detail and if something isn't clear enough, they'll ask you for more photos. I had my LV SLG authenticated as I bought it pre-loved and they've given me piece of mind. ALSO, they are the most affordable online authentication service I could find. You really can't beat it for $15 and another $10 for paperwork!

I've authenticated various brands with them, they are excellent and fast. They saved me a lot of money recently when I inadvertently bought the best replica I've ever seen (it was a duplicate to the authentics in my existing collection, I would have NEVER picked up on it). I upgraded to their official authentication document and PayPal closed the case in two days' time. I was so relieved.
Well worth the investment to authenticate a bag that we wanted to sell, but were not 100% sure of its authenticity. There are so many good fakes out there, it is reassuring to have a partner we can turn to in order to authenticate our bags for sale. Plus, it is a second pair of eyes in our authentication process, which adds value to our customers as well.
I have hired Authenticate First to confirm the validity of a few bags including Hermès Birkin and Louis Vuitton. They are very good, provide details and confirm whether the item is authentic or not.
