I have sent 2 items for authentication. Both items were authenticated in less than 48 hours and my request went in on a holiday. I have to say they were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. This is the 2nd time i've used this company and it's great knowing that even though i'm in the UK and they're based in the US, I can still confidently and quickly get an item authenticated in a matter of hours! I heard many good things about the company from other luxury collectors on instagram and I decided to authenticate my Vintage Chanel purchase using authenticate first. The service was very easy to use, the website even has a tutorial teaching you how to upload your pictures and specifically what pictures to submit, the fact that they encourage you to submit as many pictures as you can gave me peace of mind on getting an accurate authentication. The authentication process was super fast, I submitted my pictures on a sunday and first thing in the morning I got a detailed list of my vintage Chanel, I paid to have the estimated value and information on my bag, it is the best 18.50 I ever spent.
I used Authenticate First recently and their review helped me get my money back for the fake purse that was sold to me as 100% authentic. The fakes these days look very good and its easy to get scammed so asking for opinion of people who know exacly what to look for is a must. They compare my clutch to a tote bag and said the item is not authentic. After I checked same item sold in department store and confirmed authentic, Igor back to them. They send photo to show the difference of my bag and the picture provided by their expert. OMG, they are comparing my clutch to a tote bag. They were even able to pull out an inside tag from lining compartment which my clutch does not even have zip compartment. Horrible company who does not even aware they are comparing apple to orange.
I have been using Authenticate First for my Jewelry Business since 2015. I highly value & rely on their professional authenticating services, as my reputation & integrity are everything. Having Authenticate First's 'stamp of approval' allows me the comfort in knowing I am providing only Authentic Designer Jewelry to my customers.
The only reason I tried to get my purse authenticated was because I knew it was completely wrecked beyond repair (long story). I wanted to give it to a company that could cut up the material of the LV because that part remained unharmed. I wasn't trying to sell it for a high price, it was just better than throwing away a bag that could be repurposed. Nonetheless, the company claimed that the bag was a fake in every way possible. The customer service was impersonal, distant, and didn't provide any real explanations as to how they came to their conclusion. Their only note (when I asked twice) was: "Reasons include but are not limited to: heat stamps, fonts, hardware and other markings are not consistent with the brand." I know I bought the purse brand new in a boutique that is an LV distributor, so you could see why I'd want to know if I actually paid full price for a fake. They don't have time for that though. :)
We understand how disappointing it can be to find out an item you believed to be real, to turn out fake. There is no such thing as an LV distributor. The brand is very exclusive and distributors are not "a thing". Regarding explanation of why it was deemed fake, this is covered in our terms of service you agreed to prior to placing your order. Just so you know these scammers authenticate first are changing information when you write a review. I wrote a review today December 17th 2019 and the review appears under June 24th 2019. In other words they try to bury the information further down as possible. Stay away from these scammers called authenticators named authenticate first! I'm sure they have more complaints but they are probably being deleted!
Very good and professional service. No doubt, might take a bit more time to check. But most of the time, they are very detailed and accurate. The most reliable and trusted authenticated service provider.

I sent over images of an preloved LV bag that I purchased and I wanted to reconfirm the authenticity. Authentic first were fast with there turnaround and I was very pleased with the results. It gave me the peace of mind I was looking for. I will be using them again.
