Had an appointment for Tuesday morning. Called to tell me tech had an emergency that they would have to reschedule for following day between 3-5. Five rolls around, no tech no calls nothing. Had to call them to find out device could not be repaired after I waited two days for them! Also they said they called twice to try to reach me which is a complete lie. Now instead of paying 29 to get repaired I have to shell out 200 for cracked screen after taking off work twice for these appointments. Canceling service with them and will never deal with this company again.
I have a Home+ Asurion plan separate from my home carrier.
I talked to at least 5 reps to file a claim For my iPad.
At least 2 said you don't exist in our system (I do get a bill though…) 1 said all good, You have a claim filed (didn't happen) 1 said go back to phone carrier (not related; separate) The last one said you're calling the wrong # (I called the one on my bill…)
Trying to file online and that too is one nightmare. The one is for nice customer service, even though none were helpful.

I filed a claim in July after having the service for a couple of months for a TV that would no longer turn on. I was told in November after jumping through so many hoops that because the TV would not turn on, there is no way to know if the damage is covered by the service. My claim was denied for something I told several representatives about months ago. Stay away from this horrible company.

I usually always like to have a live agent talk me thru these kind of situations but I have to say this was as easy and as smooth as it could be. My sons phone was stolen. I had spoken to an agent about a few things like disconnecting the service on the phone that was stolen. He then sent me the link for the insurance claim. He said I can talk to someone or do it online. He assured me the online claim was very easy and he was right. Took 10 min and it was a simple procedure. I was told my phone will be here in a day or 2. I was not happy my son had his phone stolen but it at least they made filing the claim as quick and easy as it could be! So thank you for that!
Fourteen days of haggling back-and-forth, eleven different associates and department managers, hopefully this plight is over. Not sure however, haven't received the phone I was promised, waiting on delivery. ADVICE to customers, DO NOT settle for a refurbished phone. Read the BBB complaints.
The refurbished phone have "glitches" and once you activate there's NO going back. No returning!
File a complaint with your State Corporation Commission, easy, they will have to answer to them!

Hot water tank malfunctioned. Service guys comes says can't replace that part and will be a buy out. I call multiple time and they tell me yes it's a buy out expect it to be covered. Then 2 weeks later I get a phone call and they tell me here is phone for manufacture, good luck! Very poor customer service. Just our right lied to us multiple times. Do not use this company!
I am not the best technology person, but the way a Asurion has everything set up made it extremely extremely easy for me to get a claim in. I would say the only thing you have to do is have the phone number ready for your device especially for tablets. But at this point I am extremely thankful that I got the insurance and how the insurance made it so much easier.

Had an issue with a product I purchased on Amazon. I am so happy I chose to also purchase the extra warranty from Asurion. The process to make a claim was so easy and stress free and my claim was processed and credit given in less than 1/2 hr. I would recommend when purchasing a pricey item on Amazon do your self a favor and purchase the additional protection plan from Asurion.
All I needed was a replacement screen. For several days of checking, none were available within 30 miles of me. For that reason, I chose the more expensive replace-your-phone option. Getting the device up and running went well with direct cable transfer. However, the new SIM wasn't activated. IDK, maybe I missed it, but I saw nothing in the step-by-step instructions about the required activation. I used the Chat feature, and that problem was expeditiously resolved, BUT it seems to me that chat should have been unnecessary.

When I started my chat with Asurion, I was already frustrated. My product was not listed! But Rhealyn was courteous, swift and competent. She quickly corrected the error with just a few copy/pastes from me from my Amazon orders details page and she updated my account!
Then she swiftly processed my claim and I was printing my shipping label before we were done chatting.
Even though the price has gone down on Amazon for the replacement part, they are refunding me the original purchase price. WOW! Service with integrity.

He was patient and it took me a few minutes to get where I needed to be on the website, and he happily waited til I got there and guided me through everything with very thorough instructions. So phone was suppose to arrive 10/5/20 between 1-3 i wanted to 4 no phone. They emailed no knows why it did show then had to again the agent convinced me to ship home i said no there to sing she i put a no sign on package ok. Next ups left a sticker because it was not singed for wtf. Call ups have hold wait another day I have no car so i have to get a ride pay for gas and there time go 35 minutes out my way to find this package. Wait in line for about 40 minutes with the ladies there doing as best they could to customers. Then dive home in rush hour traffic. I was not happy at all it wasted my time I had thing to be school that night. It really up set me
I had some trouble figuring out how to correctly submit my documents. They were very specific about the documents that were required to submit my claim. Once I gathered the information needed, it was smooth sailing from there. I would definitely recommend Asurion HomePlus to all family and friends. The customer service is AMAZING! Freaky fast chat response. Very supportive, understanding and patient.
Can't say enough good things about my experience. My phone is like new again! The technician was very nice and helpful. The repairs were finished in about an hour which was even faster than I expected considering the number I did on my phone screen.
Other than some technical difficulties with verification of ID, I think Asurion has saved me money. Quick shipping and good customer service. The phone process though is bad and it is hard and takes a while to actually reach a person to talk to. Once you reach someone though there nice. I think there are some technical and phone processes that you could make easier than they are.
I needed to make a claim for my Jetpack mobile hotspot. The chat support agent and the Agent I spoke with both did an excellent job and got my claim taken care of very quickly. The friendly nature in their vernacular was nice to hear. Just proves how a simple act of kindness can have quite the positive impact on the recipient's life.

1. I paid them over $400 in charges and when I needed to use the service they charged an additional $100 for a phone that was worth less than $150.
2. They took almost 4 months to replace the phone and not even the correct phone but a lesser phone. After talking to the manager I accepted the phone to move forward and sent back the old phone.
3. I then almost two months later received a letter informing me that they had not received the phone. I called and was assured that this was a mistake and the phone was indeed received.
4. Three months later I received an additional $300 fee for not returning the device from my carrier (BELL).
In addition I have spent hours on hold and speaking to their staff to try to resolve the issue.
5. So in summery if you would like to avoid many months of frustration, terrible customer support, `lost products`, surprise additional cost and billings do your self a favor and avoid this company.
I did the customer service chat, it was fast easy and got my issue resolved. Very helpful, nice and patient. Thank you.

Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
