I ordered a pair of shoes and when they arrived the ankle straps on e shoe was only 1 inch long
I sen5 them back and waited for a refund still waiting spoke to customer service, wasted two days speaking to someone on chat probably in India who just kept copy and paste web site details to me, hello I want my money back it shouldn't have to wait nearly a month to get your money back.
Then I spoke to a supervisor who literally said hard cheese we will refund you in 10days that would make it 6 week's waiting for my refund
I'm that sick of waiting I've asked my bank to get a refund on my behalf

One word to describe asos will be (Terrible).
Shopped here since 2002. Been a super loyal customer I make regular purchases for myself, family and friends so I DO keep most of those orders (my card statement is proof of that) I spend a lot.
But Lately they've been sending a lot of damaged goods without checking them I've even had things missing from the order with parcels arriving open which I always make note when returning those orders as to reason why I am returning it and contact live chat.
Anyway now.
They have Blocked my account even with active orders so I went onto live chat to see what's going on and I'm being told it's due to security reasons! Without actually telling me what those security reasons are.
Breach of GDPR playing with customers sensitive data and not notifying the customer of any reasons as to why they have been blocked.
Asos do not look at the long term history only recent so if you make a couple of returns in a row even if you spend hundreds they will just block you. Disgusting company got rich off loyal customers like myself and then go and show thanks in this way.
Furthermore seems they pay trust pilot a lot of money to keep negative reviews removed. I have provided multiple proof of my review yet no response from trust pilot team they keep removing it. Fake platform do not trust the reviews on there.
I cannot wait for the day Asos go into administration and fyi that wont be long as they are reporting huge losses after the way they have been treating customers it's no wonder. So be careful it can be extremely difficult getting your money back if this happens unless you use a credit card and make a chargeback claim.
Good riddance ASOS I'll take my money elsewhere plenty of better stores online these days.
Tip for consumers:
Advise not to shop here because incase you need to return anything they will end up blocking your account with no refund.'infact many have had missing orders and have been declined a refund even when asos did not deliver. Trust pilot reviews are fake and asos pay the platform.
Delivered my items to a total stranger, could not tell me where, and refused to refund me for the items I did not receive. Contacted 4 times and was ignored.
It has to contact with them only chat and it takes so long and always lost connection and only one order and ask them for help and not fully refund
Just a quick FYI to any/ all customers reading this.
Do not purchase from this company unless you have extra funds to not only pay customs charges but then to pay large sums of money to return items to them even if your reason for a return is that the item was falsely advertised on their website.
I purchase 8 identical items for my wedding, used the size chart to order sizes and received items that looked NOTHING like the item that was on the website.
I contacted Customer Service to see what they could do to help me out as I am in Canada and returning the items would cost me another $60. Keep in mind that the items cost $130, I had already paid $40 in customs charges that I wasn't going to get back, and the items I received looked like maternity clothing instead of the photo online that looked great.
I was told "the Manager has agreed that you can return the clothing" "you are responsible for the postage" "I have done all I can do".
I shop at ASOS all the time and am a loyal customer and they weren't even willing to work on a solution with me.
Please don't trust these people with your orders.
Why they offer a lot on the website as discounts, and them you click happy your size and them the disappointing part, Just availble XXXXXXXL or XXXXXSSSSS
That make you nuts. As your expectation was positive as you see all the stuff, after a while you ended buying just something that was not that your desire on the page.
Honestly they should remove items by the filters, so if i made a search example SIZE M. Why they should still appear on results stuff XXXXXL? No sense.
My first order was flat shoes two years ago. They're my favs and still in a good condition to date. Will definitely come back for more..
