Ordered 2 pairs of boys wrestling shoes on coaches recommendation. Said order would be DELIVERED by 12/6 or 12/7. I got an email today explaining my order hasn't even shipped yet! Contacted customer service and they are not any help whatsoever. Steer clear if you can!
ASICS - $#*!. S) -August 2021 -Bought $140 shoes at a store. Used for walking and cycling. They lasted 6 months before the top and sides of the shoe tore WITH the sole completely indented and worn through. ASICS (a.ka. $#*!. S) wanted proof of payment - I gave them a detailed bank statement. No go - they said. I called the store I purchased them from - they tell me that their POS system no longer had my proof of purchase.
No one, including the CEO who I contacted on Linked In, responded other than they would receive my comments.
Deplorable attitude, crappy shoes that last less than a year, and bull-crap answers on everything.
When my shoes arrived the shoelaces were 8" shorter than previous purchases. I contacted customer service and they said to return the shoes. I know this seems petty, but it was the attitude of the company that fired me up. The customer service rep was very nice, but her superiors didn't give a flying F%$#. I wish I had known about this site prior to my purchases.
I ordered shoes on 7/25 with a promised delivery of 7/29. On 7/30, my order was not even on record with FedEx yet, which meant my wait would be at least another week.
The delivery times stated on the website are misleading. Your credit card is charged almost immediately, but your order may languish for days or weeks.
I called customer service and attempted to cancel and get a refund. My request was denied. Later, a customer service rep contacted me and offered an alternative solution, and I finally received my order on 8/2.
The actual shoes? I like them. But dealing with their website and customer service was a battle.
I strongly encourage Asics to be honest about delivery times on their website. Otherwise, they're going to see more angry customers like the ones writing reviews here.
FInd a different shoe company
I have owned Asics for over 10 years. They have always been great. In March 2023 I bought a pair of walking shoes. The left one had an issue with the heel padding after 2 weeks and only wearing them a few times. I called customer service where they immediately denied my claim as abuse to the shoe. They didnt even ask for a pic and didnt see the shoe. Im not sure what abuse I could have done that rapidly that didnt impact any of the previous pairs I bought. I had to push for them to review my claim and they then said I was out of the warranty period. When I questioned this, they went back to the abuse claim. After looking into it, I found many others posting issues with Asics heel padding and Asics denying their claim. Do yourself a favor and find another shoe company. One that actually cares about their customers.

My daughter gave me a pair of shoes and bought one herself. Both ripped on the collar immediately. They sent her new ones. After calls, photos and many emails they offered me nothing but a 20% coupon. I will never buy the faulty shoes. They blamed me as though it's the first time I've worn shoes. I am 57 and in product sales... horrible customer service!
Over two weeks and I have only received one of the two pairs of shoes I ordered, yet my card has been charged for both. Website reflects both pairs were shipped in the same order with the same tracking number. Again only one pair received. Their phone line for customer service is shut down. No response to 3 separate emails going back over a week. Never again!
My biggest mistake was to order a pair of running shoes directly from Asics instead of a retail store. Their customer service is non existent
And should not be selling directly to the consumer. They have no clue what they have in stock because it's not updated on a regular basis. After reading numerous horrible reviews l am surprised they are still selling directly to the consumer
I have worn the Kayano since the first model came out. I converted my husband to Asics as well. It is the most expensive model they have retailing about $160. His shoe started to squeak with every step after less than 6 weeks of purchase. First I contacted the customer service number which is not working. Then by email I placed a warranty claim. They needed explanation of what was wrong. Then they wanted a copy of the receipt although I bought directly from them on their website. Then they wanted photos of the tongue of the shoe. Then they wanted pictures of every angle of the shoe. Then they wanted a video of the shoe squeaking. Then they never followed up to complete the claim. I have been dealing with this since October and it is currently December. There are too many high quality brands to chose from without dealing with this. I will never buy or recommend Asics ever again and any time I can write a review It well be warning people they have ZERO customer service and buyer beware.
I bought a pair of Asics shoes and only wear a couple of months, there is a split at toe of right foot. I contact the asics CS and got a auto email response right away. However, there is no more follow up for weeks. I resent two more emails to ask where do I go to fix it since it is under manufacture warranty. No answer at all. I wonder how can such a company survive in this kind of service. So disappointed.
I bought a pair of Gel Kayano shoes from the Asics website on 05/01/23. They feel like something is wadded up under my right forefoot. Also, the foam cushion around the back of the shoe is loose under the fabric and drops down behind my heel. All very uncomfortable. Asics keeps giving me the runaround to deny my warranty claim and trying to blame me for their failure. 13 years of buying Asics shoes without ever making a claim on any of the 20+ pairs I have bought, but they are set on making me angry over this pair of shoes. I tried to leave a similar review on their own site, but they sent me an email to let me know they had "moderated" it by declining to allow it to go through. Hopefully, this review will reach as many people as possible.
Purchased sneakers a few weeks back, still no change on status on website. No way to contact them, they say to send a email but no one responds. I hope I receive my order soon. Been a few weeks now... =(
ASICS gel nibus soles fall apart, after 6 months.
I have had two pair and contacted ASICS about my issue, besides their very slow response time (over two weeks) they do NOT honor their warranty on the shoes.
I switched to Brooks, same price better quality shoe
I ordered a pair of shoes from Asics website from September 30th 2021 at 2:00 p.m. and at 5:00 p.m. the next day still nothing. I was charged immediately but it looks as if my order has like most people's been ignored. It says two business days after order has been processed but the fact that two business days later the order still hasn't even been processed means they can do whatever they want at any time and then if you get them two days later they can say that's how it works. I used their chat function on their website and they told me they would ship out by the end of today when it's already 5:00 p.m. in the same time zone so I know that's a lie. I wish I had read these reviews before and I could have ordered these from somewhere else and probably already have them today or by Monday at the latest. Now my money is spent and it's tied up waiting for something to even be processed, much less shipped. I would expect something like this from Amazon but not directly from the manufacturer of a product which is usually the better way to order since you know it will be genuine but it looks as if the company cares even less than the major online websites.
Disgusting!... no customer service assistance/email what so ever!... hotline is so called shut down due to recent updates so they say... and havnt received my order which has taken over 3 weeks!... i hate company like this... will take your money just to stay on float... but don't take pride in keeping there customers happy!... never again!... do not order from these f@$ks!
I do not advise anyone to use the services of this company. The problem is not even the quality of their products, the problem is the structure of their service. I live in another country and therefore order to the address of the forwarder, who then delivers to the country where I live. I placed an order that was to be delivered by a courier service called Pandion. I would like to note right away that I often place such orders and have never encountered other courier services doing such nonsense. So, the Pandion courier service left a package with sneakers right on the street on the ground literally 50 meters from the place where the order was supposed to be delivered. Naturally, my package is no longer there, since someone has already picked it up. As a result, neither Asics nor Pandion wants to be held responsible for what happened. Asics refuses to return the money, arguing that they are prohibited from sending orders to the addresses of forwarders, but for some reason they managed to accept my order and send it and, as a result, refuse to bear responsibility. Just take the buyer's money and not complete the order. Cool, right? I wish that everyone who ends up getting my money will end up in exactly the same situation.
Asics is all I have worn in athletic shoes for years. It is all my daughter wears for volleyball.
I ordered a new pair of shes and they are defective.
It has now been months since my first attempt to contact customer service, with multiple attempts since and I have yet to hear back from Asics.
I do not recommend the brand or the site any longer.
Asics are the best shoe brand around. It helped support my knee pain during my runs. It reduces the shock to the knee. I also had a friend with Achilles Tendon and he said that Asics was a fantastic shoe. It gave him extra padding and support, thus he was able to keep running and it recovered within a couple months.
I got a charge on my credit card from Asics, I haven't ordered from them in a year and a half. I spoke with one of their customer service reps., she confirmed that I was not the one that ordered the shoes, nor did they get sent to my address. I requested a refund since they acknowledge I did not order the shoes, the response: "oh, we can't do that and we can't give you the name or address of the person that did order the shoes because we need to protect their privacy." Somebody stole my credit card and they want to protect the thief? I will NEVER order anything from Asics again.
I paid for two-day shipping and they said that only counts for AFTER it leaves the warehouse, which can be ANY amount of time. Total fraudulent, unapologetic behavior for a business.
