Im a frequent customer of Ashley and as a bride to be ordered several outfits and dresses from them I ordered the perfect dress for my bridal shower when I got it the zipper was broken and it was torn I immediately called customer service and was told since my affair is so close and they want me to be able to wear the dress so they offered me 9.00 to go and have it repaired really like all my other reviews state once the companies receive their money they no longer care about the customers I took the dress to cleaners and it will cost 25 for zipper and 12 to Repair the rip so 9.00 didn't help and they act like they are really doing you a service
Ashley Stewart what happened?! Let me guess someone who doesn't know a thing about fashion or the Ashley Stewart brand took over and changed EVERYTHING. If y'all don't fix this you will lose more money than you already have. Your clothes don't look or feel the same anymore... smh
I thought I found a nice plus size store so I decided to give it a go since I am from Canada and with the exchange rate it would cost me more but I thought what the heck, the clothing looked beautiful in the photos but was very disappointed. I bought 4 tops and only 1 was good. The rest, the quality was terrible, the sizing is totally off. I went by their measurement chart according to bust sizing but when I got them they were way to big, the sleeves were so long like almost a foot longer than my arms. The fringe black top looked nice on the model but when I got it today all the fringes were attached, I had to take them apart some of them were sewn to the garment and I had to carefully cut it away. The fabric is so thin and cheap for what I paid for. I will never never never order anything from this company. I will stick with my Canadian stores where I know the sizing is correct and the quality is good. So disappointed in these clothing that come from China.
This company does not want to sell their items at their discounted prices. I have talked with someone who has experienced the exact same thing I am. Here's the story: I have been waiting on this skirt for about a month to go on sale. When it finally went on sale, I purchased it (so I thought) but didn't get the item. So I tried ordering it again while on sale and it says item not available for shipping. The next morning I check the item, which is no longer at 40% off but 25% off, it is magically available for shipping. I chatted with them and they said the item was probably not available in the warehouse then. LIES! This exact same thing has happened to someone else several times. Every time they try to get it at 40%-50%, it won't be available for shipping but if it is 25%-30% off, it's available for shipping. This is not right!
I never received a email back regarding the wrong dress that they sent me and wanted me to pay to send it back. I did receive a phone call saying that my account was in collections because my payment was two weeks late. I then looked on my bank statement and it was a kick back for some reason, but they never notified me regarding this and because it was two weeks late I was charged a 28.00 dollar late fee which leads me to believe that the wait to contact me was so they could get that late fee and the put my available credit to 0 and my bill was 156 out of 600 such a joke. What I have noticed is it is all credit card companies that service under this on bank.
Placed an order over 3 weeks ago, I have yet to receive my order. I will work it out with my bank! Will NEVER PURCHASE Sweet Honey Ice Tea from AS again. I will not be scammed by online business's in 2024.
Dont buy from these $#*!s although they have good items you will be penalized for refunds. I ordered a pair of sandals from them had to return them because they didn't fit. They refunded the shoe minus the shipping and my refund was $8.95 less than the total price. When i sent it back because I didn't have a return label i paid $15 usps priority to send it back( out of my pocket) the customer service is gonna tell me they dont give that back and i dont get the original shipping charge back either because the company provided a shipped the order without a problem and that I am returning it. Basically your refund will not be what you paid originally they will get you either way. I asked well whats the refund had I used the company return label they still said minus$8.95 from the total. Complete RIPOFF never again.
There customer service on the phone are nasty and don't listen to the customer concerns try to talk over you not helpful at all was two different policies by two different customers rep so which one is the correct one.
I place my order they never ever gave me my confirmation number are my tracking number I have been emailing them for it until this day no one have got back with me this company is so very bad once they get your money they just forget about you I will never ever deal with this company again
I recently purchased 2 skirts and a jacket from Ashley Stewart online, and had no problem. Items arrived in time expected, were correct sizes, and I'm happy. I love the way the one skirt's waistband is made -- looks like a wide band, but there's a thin piece of elastic nested near the top that is the real waistband, so it doesn't roll like true wide bands often do. I wear a 24 or 3X normally and these were a bit large. I will get 2X or 22 in the future. Only complaint is jacket stripes not symmetrical on front panels. I'd have been upset if I'd paid full price.
I just closed my account due to they charge you 8.95 for shipping and 8.00 for return. I see why so many stores have closed. I was a loyal customer until you would not give me a full credit on my return!
Shipping rates are ridiculous. If shipping is included in the initial order, why should you pay to send it back if you are dissatisfied with the order? You stand to lose a lot of online purchases. At least consider free returns. Shipping cost pretty much outweighs the total cost of the order especially if the order is not expensive. Very disappointing
Isn't there alternative to sending order to customers without using courier services. It is expensive. I pay for shipping and I am charged extra by the courier company before they can deliver. At the end of the day, I am coughing out over 60 dollars for shipping. This is too too expensive! You should send through normal mail and give the customers the option of using courier services or not.
They are a scam. Did a bait and switch on me and refused to honor the coupon they said they had.
Their customer service is AWFUL. With all the online places to shop, this is one to run away from! I should have heeded the reviews I saw before I tried to shop with them!
What is going on? The quality and all these prints! No classy clothing Anymore. Some of Ashley Stewarts clothing look like clown clothing! All the stores for plus size women closing or getting clothing from China now. Shopping channels sticking designer labels on poor quality clothing from china and charging high prices! Everything has stretch now a 4x woman squeezing in a 1x Ridiculous! Every once in awhile I see something decent to buy.
Worst place to shop! I made an order 2 weeks in a half prior to my trip thinking my items would arrive before I left, BUT I WAS WRONG! Called customer service but they didn't do anything about it. Will not be ordering things from here anymore!
Ashley Stewart is a rip off... I have an account with them and I have spent thousands of dollars with them. I did a balance transfer to clear my balance well before my due date and they are charging me a late fee and finance charges. The customer service is horrific. I have never dealt with a company that is so unwilling to help a customer of the past 4 years who buys from them seasonally. I will no longer support a company that is not customer friendly.
I read not great reviews. Ordered 3 sets all cotton pj shorts sets. Just ordered 3 more sets. All cotton so bought larger size as I know my dryer will shrink them. Good price. They shrunk in dryer but I love that they are 100 percent cotton. I have been looking for these everywhere. Super comfy and what I like to lounge in and sleep in.
I am still waiting for my refund I bought three dresses and they delayed without explanation about the delay and when I contacted them, they claimed it's on the way. Even when I told them it's late for me to use the dresses. Now I saw on the tracking system that they have returned the dresses to the sender. Look guys I need everyone to beware of this company. They are worst and criminals. But I know by the time am done with them, they will pay for more than they bargained for.
I ordered a red pants jumpsuit. It came quickly. The jumpsuit was beautiful, and it looked really good on me. The fabric and workmanship were good. The problem is my body is overly sensitive. A seam went across my tummy, which felt uncomfortable. I returned the jumpsuit, and they gave me a refund.
Answer: Yes and $8 minimum shipping to receive and to return. Paid $16 because their item was terrible quality and see through.
