I ordered an article of clothing on February 4th 2020. As of February the 18th, I've still yet to receive confirmation that my order has been packaged or ship. Highly dissatisfied..
BUYER BEWARE! You could be scammed as I was. After you are defrauded, the store does not take responsibility. You have go to your payment provider to recoup your monies. I was fortune I used PAYPAL for the purchase
Ordered air conditioner on June 10th it is now July 19th and I still haven't gotten it. There is never answer when you called the customer service number.
Wish I'd taken the time to read these reviews instead of giving Artfire a cent. I was a TOP 1% seller on Etsy- 3 mos on artfire and not a single sale. It's a ghost town. RUN.
I have two shops on ArtFire, and I love it there. The customer service provided by the AF staff can't be beat. They clearly understand that without their sellers, they have no business, so they cater to our needs better than any other venue I sell on, including Etsy. The tools they provide for us (the sellers) are plentiful, and I find the site to be easy to navigate and work on. The forums are full of helpful information, and helpful sellers who enjoy helping newbies (and confused oldies) with their shops.
I also shop on AF a lot, and have never been disappointed with a product or the way I was treated by a seller. I've purchased supplies, handmade bags, scarves, bath and body products, crocheted gloves, fine art, jewelry, wood work, and countless other items. It's not very often that I can't find exactly what I'm looking for on ArtFire when it comes to something unique and handmade.
For people to blame ArtFire when they get burned by a specific seller isn't really fair. ArtFire has nothing to do with that, but they will try to contact sellers when there's a problem, and if the problems persist, they close the shop. They don't want our shoppers to be ripped off! There isn't anything they can really do if something like this happens because ArtFire doesn't have the money, the seller does. That's why it's very important to file a dispute with PayPal or your credit card company within the 45 day window when there's a problem, whether it happens on ArtFire, Etsy, Zibbet, eBay, or anywhere else.
This company posts ads for chinese scam companies and the show up on google shopping. I ordered a eagle peak canopy and just got a package with a piece of Styrofoam and others have posted the same with the return address: BFE corporation ******* Monte Vista Ave, China CA *******-5722. I wrote to Artfire and the claim no responsibility even though they are complicit in the scam. SHUT THEM DOWN
Below is what I ordered and the envelope of what I received
I ordeed a watch from maripur through Art Fire seven weeks ago and have been trying to get help from Art Fire because I have not received my watch. Unable to talk to anyone at Art fire or maripur to resolve my problem. Art Fire customer service is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Do not buy anything from Art Fire or any company on Art Fire if you have any problem you will never be able to get them resolved.
It's always disappointing to hear when a customer has a bad experience with an online seller. However, ArtFire is not directly responsible for those issues and supports over 10,000 vendors from around the world. One critic misstated the cost of using ArtFire as a web host, citing they charge up to $60.00. This is not true. ArtFire has charged $12.95 per month and will be raising their fee to $20.00, but this is absolutely in line with other web hosts. Plus, ArtFire never charges their sellers a listing fee or commission, which is common with other web hosts. The site changes were implemented October 28,2014 and, as with any upgrade, there have been some glitches. But ArtFire management has been very responsive to its sellers in dealing with all issues. I posted a problem I was having with my site (very new, RandomStreet.ArtFire.com) and received a reply and a fix less than 24 hours later. Some folks are just not happy with the new look. That is a subjective evaluation which anyone is entitled to make. Keep in mind that the changes made were, in part, to accommodate the appearance of sellers' shops on multiple platforms, a change which is necessary and welcomed.
While I personally am in only the handmade section of ArtFire, there are many wonderful sellers on this site. I certainly hope people reading bad reviews on SiteJabber will keep in mind that one terrible experience with one seller reflects only on that seller, and not everyone else.
I started selling at ArtFire in 2009 and at first really liked it. The forums were friendly, there was a real sense of teamwork, everybody was helpful, including the COO, Tony Ford, and my sales were terrific. Last summer, the entire site took a nosedive and became the opposite of what it was. There has been a great deal of contention, implementation of crazy programs that don't work, kicking sellers off the site or muting them if they ask too many questions, a drastic reduction in the number of sales for many of us, and blaming sellers for problems.
In addition, there is a secret forum where where about 7 to 10 members of Tony's "Team" decide how they are going to handle unhappy sellers, which is usually to gang up, swear at them, make fun of them, and take any serious subject off topic. The mavens in Tony's special group will tell people they are "similar to a dangling turd" or to "F off" and "blow me."
The site is broken, it doesn't work, and the COO, Tony Ford, has a million excuses. ArtFire is not a healthy place to be, either for your pocketbook, or your psychological state.
It doesn't even deserve 1 star, but i have to give one to give a review. The website is very deceiving, says are from "the heart of the Tucson Arts District", United States. I ordered a jersey on Dec 11 for Christmas, was told I'd get a shipping tracking number UPTO 48 hours. It's been 21 DAYS, and still can't track said package that was due on Dec 24th. I have emailed the vendor multiple times, who also has a signature that states they are from the US... and they won't refund my money, keep telling me to be patient. I have filed a claim with PayPal (BTW the transaction is labeled "Childcare") and next step is contacting Artfire themselves. Was not a happy Christmas, thanks for disappointed a 12 year old kid with a gift she "bought" for a family member. A package from Tuscon to Chicago would not take 21 days! VERY DECEIVING webpage.
Do not I repeat do not order from artfire it's a total SCAM! My order was never received over a month & the scammers sent me a bunch of face mask! Save your money & a headache
Should be 0 available-used PayPal and a foreign name appeared (Nygyen.,) never asked for email, PayPal refused to honor refund so I am out $41. Site should be taken off the web-beware!
Texas Ranger jersey I purchased a Texas Ranger jersey for my son first of all they sent a jersey in the wrong size it's very poor quality they spelled the last name wrong I contacted them several times they told me to have a nice life in response don't waste your money shop somewhere Else
STILL NOTHING HAS CHANGED... i ASKED them to close/delete my account... they said they did 'closed' my account / profile BUT today I got a text message that they tried to use MY CREDIT CARD! FOR WHAT GOD SAKE?! THIS SITE SJPULD NE ILLEGAL... If I could give minus rating... it's not even a 1 star
No help, but they charge for nothing monthly, I CAN'T CLOSE MY ACCOUNT cause THEY DO NOT EVEN BOTHER TO ANSWER MY MAILS. SCAM. THIS IS WHAT A BOGUS STEALING COMPANY LOOKS LIKE!:(
DO NOT SUNSCRIBE!
Ordered from a vendor. Never arrived. Good luck getting a hold of Artfire support, they don't want to be found. Never again. Hope they fail before they can rip anyone else off.
STAY AWAY
My mother woke up with alerts from PayPal. I have never even heard of this website and my mum had a bill for $300aud under MY NAME?! Why my name when it's my mother PayPal?!? I had never bought anything but these lowlifes that obviously can't have a proper job to earn there own money drained my account when that money was for Christmas presents! Now my back is empty for Christmas
THEY ARE A SCAM! We spent alot of money ordering several jersey's as gifts. About a week after the order, I received an email with a tracking number. The tracking number that they gave me is not a good tracking number. I tried on several delivery companies. I sent them several emails, no response. I will be disputing the charges to get my money back. STAY AWAY FROM ARTFIRE. THEY ARE A SCAM
I ordered a small pool for the yard and after being ignored and created a dispute the seller sends me a small pack of Chinese face masks,. For 100$. I'm so angered.
BEWARE of Artfire.com The website is barely functional... and very clunky... annoying to use. I would imagine that they hook in many with the 14 DAY FREE TRIAL... I signed up to give the 14 days a try and I cancelled my subscription on the 14th day. A day later I was charged for a month.
When I tried to get my money back I was told that somewhere in the terms of service there is a clause that you must cancel at least 72 hours prior to the end of the 14 day trial in order to not be charged for the month... WOW... TALK ABOUT SHADY BUSINESS!
This site is obviously set up to scam people... It's unfortunate how many people are out there trying to steal a few bucks from creative people who just want to make their items available for sale. Whoever runs the Artfire.com website, they do not have the user's interest in mind... and from most of these 1 star reviews, they don't have any safeguards set up for buyers either.
Very disappointing. Very shady business. Stay away! Etsy might not be as good as it used to be, but at least their website functions very well and looks good, and they won't charge you for absolutely nothing!
Answer: Mine took a couple of weeks to ship, it was faulty so had to return it. I never saw my money again, it is pretty much your word against the sellers and ArtFire pretty much just sits back and says they have nothing to do with it. Don't buy from them, it's not worth the aggravation.
Answer: Make a claim on BBB or email artfire.com directly
Answer: I maded an order the order number is 2567947 and I have not receive it
