Product could have been packaged better. Not securely packaged in box, meaning not enough padding. Delivery trucks, no matter the carrier, ALL drop and damage boxes. The corner of one of the brackets was damaged and you can see were the box was dropped on this corner. I just glued the corner where it was cracked and clamped it until dry. All is well. Looks great after staining and placed on the front porch post.
Will be getting more in the future for another project.
But would like more secure firmer padding (styrofoam) in corners of shipping box. These things are heavy.
It took a couple of weeks longer than I expected for the items to arrive based on your website when I first checked out (since they were out of stock, but they did arrive within the shipping window I received in the reply email). They look very pretty, and give an almost feminine touch to the wrought iron (which is hard to do with metal). The most important thing is that my client loves them.
I spent a fair amount of time comparing with other sites and decided architecturaldepot was probably the best deal. During checkout, every page in the process listed "free shipping" for my order, which was part of my comparison with other sites. However, on the very last page for final confirmation to place the order, an additional $24.99 charge appeared for a "heavy item." These are vinyl shutters that weigh very little, and it's deceptive to hide this charge in the entire checkout process. The shipment arrived on time, quality as expected, and I'm glad to have the project finished, so overall I'm satisfied with the order. However, I'm not sure I'd use architecturaldepot.com again since I find their checkout process less than honest and/or accurate.
5 star...Great product, had what I wanted. Very professional and would order again. Still have not put up the shutters or flower boxes. New home for my daughter and the inside is being done before the outside.
They will be a wonderful addition to their new home. Would recommend you to anyone.
Excellent and in depth variety of items in one place. Saved me hours of shopping around. Timely delivery and somewhat reasonable pricing a definite plus. Very good site for ideas as well. Shipping costs are there but are far outweighed by the plus factors.
The shipping and billing screen was filled with all info required but still said I was not filling it out correctly. When I back spaced over extension # to indicate there was none it suddenly worked. Needs better instruction.

I had NO idea I could find faux hinges and now that I've installed these on my shutters, I'm SO happy! I saved a lot of money and they look great! Ordering online was easy and the hinges arrives neat;y packaged within 1 week. I will be shopping this site again for hinges to add to my garage door!
My overall experience was very satisfying. I found Architectural depot to have a user friendly website capable of providing quality materials to builders, and developers, with prices reasonable and affordable for the average homeowner as well. Delivery was also completed within a timely manner, with email notification of processing, tracking and shipping.
My purchase was exactly what I was looking for. It came as a complete kit instead of several pieces from different vendors. Can't wait until it's installed. Thanks for the large selection of products.
Have purchased from you before and will again however will say that following ordering these I did find these exact window boxes cheaper and delivered directly to my home in Canada instead of having to use my parcel pickup company in the US. I believe it was either through Wayfair.ca or Houzz.ca
Quick and easy - lowest price and free shipping hard to beat! Cupola had minor damage (or assembly error) that was easily corrected. A corner joint had separated and the two staple fasteners were exposed.

Finding you was a blessing when the previous vendor I ordered from out of Ontario, Canada no longer exists. Now I have to find a vendor for polyurethane crown moulding, inside corner blocks and divider blocks to complete my project. If you carry these products please respond. Thanks.
We realized that shutters would be a nice addition to our recently purchased home. We searched different sites and chose architecturaldepot.com. The quality is above average and the color selected is perfect for our home. The shutters were easy to install into the brick mortar. It would have been nice to have some instructions as to drill bit size, appropriate screw to use, and top/bottom of the shutter. There also could have been better communication once the order was placed/shipped. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase and are purchasing additional shutters for other windows we initially thought we would not dress out. Thank you for helping us build character in our home!
Actually bought shutters from another website, but their website is not working, so I came to this one. Shutters are less expensive too. So far so good.
Did receive my whole order. Just a couple of comments. Received two packages from the UPS carrier opened. Do not know why, but two packages were open. All the contents were in them. Also the vinyl coverings for the screws. The screws have to be centered and tightened up pretty snug for the vinyl caps to go on, but overall I am happy with the service and product.
So far so good...the proof will be how long it takes to get here and what they look like.
I love the shutters that I ordered. I hung them inside my kitchen along side 2 long narrow windows. They look great. I was going for a nautical effect, and these were perfect!

Customer service was a five star! Very helpful getting me the touch up kit needed due to the manufacturer packaging the 4 different 3 sided beams together with nothing in between and they stuck together causing some of the finish to pull off.

This is just another return to architecturaldepot -- which I have used extensively over the past 5 years. Quality of product, accessibility of website and accuracy and speed of shipment are always consistent. I'm a very satisfied customer.
The shopping and ordering process was fantastic - the only frustration was that all of the items came at different times and I had to arrange to take off of work to sign for them. Most items seemed as described - they are being installed as I write so hopefully the finished product will be as I hoped. Unfortunately the column I order arrived damaged - it is too large to return and my contractor said they could repair it sufficiently to use it, but for such a critical item, next time I would probably be better off to shop locally.
The colors are not uniform; some shutters are different color such that they cant be next to other shutters. Quite disappointed with the variation of color. I also never received any tracking information for this shipment so they were sitting on my porch for quite a few days before i discovered they had been delivered. Pleased with the pricing and free shipping but had to make an addition to and a color change prior to order being shipped which was not as easy as it should have been
