We really love the shutters we received from Architectural Depot. They have really added a tremendous amount to the appearance of our home. My husband easily installed them in a short amount of time. They come with everything needed and Architectural Depot has great products.
Ordered two window Crossheads and when delivered they were exactly what they described and in perfect shape no flaws that I could tell with a naked eye, the sizes they have beyond belief next to what other companies have. The price also beats everyone else that had what I needed.
Ordered one very small item, early Feb 2016, today is 3. 8. 16 and still dont even have a tracking number yet. Of course they had my money from day one. Their tracking system is b. S. too. One day it tells you its delivered then the next its still "being procssed". Takes 48 hours foe their warehouse to even check the order and get back to you. They SUCK. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Wouldnt even give one star but had to

Very disappointed! I ordered a set of 3 shutters back on September and was expecting them on October, then received an email saying that my order was shipping on November. Was waiting for my items and received another email saying that I would be receiving my items on January 6! Very disappointed! Canceled my order! Went to Amazon and received my order within a week!
Do not order any ceiling medallions off of this company! I ordered an extremely large item and it came packed in only paper! It was also chipped and cracked and the had the audacity to say that I can sand it and reprime the item again before I paint it I really don't think so!
I called to make sure I got the correct size post wrap and ordered it with them. I got the wrong size post wrap and they told me it was my fault and they would not replace it or refund me. I put in a CC dispute so I hope I get my money back. Don't buy from these people
Placed an order on July 22nd for custom pilasters for our front door, scheduled to be delivered on August 19th. The company charged the credit card very promptly. The scheduled delivery date came and went but the pilasters did not arrive. When I checked the website, the scheduled ship date got pushed back by two weeks, then two more weeks, then two more... Here we are in the middle of October and the scheduled ship date just got pushed back another two weeks. I tried reaching out multiple times. Online chats and messages go without a response. When I called in person a couple of times, the operators said they will check and try to expedite the order then call me back. No one ever called back... And the website won't let me cancel the order since it's listed as being "in production" for all this time. Money well spent...
I had nothing but difficulties from the beginning. The prices are great but we were so frustrated with the lack of email responses to order questions and delivery time. If I need shutters again, I'll buy local.
I had a return and was hesitant to even try.
BUT the customer service manager, Kaylyn Sellek, was amazing! She responded quickly to my return email, worked on the tracking number and followed up until my return was complete. Thank you Kaylyn.
Our first ceiling medallion to place on our kitchen with our new ceiling light. Made well and the design compliments the new ceiling light. I asked CS a email question and they answered my question quickly. I would recommend this vendor to family and friends.
I purchased 4 corbels to yield two. I needed large corbels to use beneath upper kitchen cabinets flanking the cooktop. I glued two together and filled the gap and router cutting with wood filler, sanded, primed, and painted them. They look stunning!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS! Super poor customer service, once you order they give you the run around on when your order will actually ship. I have no idea if my product will actually reach me, let alone when. How can I possibly arrange for installation if they can't provide something as simple as when it shipped. I am happy to track it myself, just need a number. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else.
These brackets are pretty much exactly what I needed to support a granite slab overhanging a cabinet. I could have used metal brackets at 3x the price, but these brackets added an arts & crafts appearance, which is what I was going for. I had to engineer a method of securement for my application because of the structural requirements. If you are a casual do-it-yourselfer, be sure you can appropriately fasten this bracket if it will be supporting substantial weight.
Love the quality of the corbels ordered and the superior customer service. Our product was shipped immediately and we couldn't be happier. We will order architectural items for our home, in the near future.
The shutters we purchased are amazing. They resemble wood shutters and our neighbors could not tell the difference. We purchased the paintable ones since we were having our home painted at the same time and wanted them to match. They adhered the paint great and they look wonderful. Extremely happy with our purchased.
Shorted my order. I reported missing items on day of delivery and many times thereafter. I am missing 1 bondo kit and 1 capital. They sent 3 bondo kits, and 4 boxes for the capital and bases. The 3 larger boxes contained the capital and the base. One smaller in height box contained just the base - no capital. I have provided FedEx delivery ticket showing 11 boxes received, FedEx paperwork shows 12 to be delivered. I have send pictures of boxes received. They have refused to do ANYTHING except offer for me to PAY for my missing items AGAIN, and then they will send them.
ArchitecturalDepot provided shutters we couldn't find elsewhere and they were of good quality, and delivered in a reasonable amount of time. We will order additional shutters from ArchitecturalDepot because of our good experience with them.
I purchased $500 of running house trim from these folks based on the photo they had on their website. When I received this material, it did NOT look like the photo -- it was distorted & stretched. When I attempted to get them to make me the correct product or refund my money, they insisted that all items were custom made & I could not return it. I could understand that, if I had changed my mind, the product would not be returnable but... this product was totally misrepresented on their website & it cost me $500 of my VERY HARD EARNED MONEY. This folks need to do the right thing & return my money or make me the correct product that they advertised.
Placed a critcal order on June 27th, expected delivery- July6-July10th. Did not arrive until July22nd- packaging extremely damaged and opened on both ends. I took pictures w/ UPS driver holding damaged product and refused delivery. Architectural Depot knew of refusal because they called me to enquire. I thought all was well, until the package was re-delivered the next day, and I was not home to stop, and AD refused to address issue. I have filed with Better Business Bureau.
I placed an in June order for 22 Shutters for a house I was remodeling. They gave me a delivery date of July 30. I called on Agust 1st and they said that the Manufacture was delayed and the new delivery would be on August 15th and that If I wanted I could cancel the order/ On August 17th when I call again they say the order has been pushed back to August 30 and that I could cancel the order, but there is nothing they could do. At this point, I could not cancel the order because it would delay me more but if I would have known that at the time of the order I would have never placed the order.
Architectural Depot is very unresponsive and not at all helpful. I had much better experience with Build.com. If you can stay away from them
