If you order from Appliance Connection, add a couple of weeks to the delivery date (don't go by what the website tells you). I ordered a new LG washer and electric dryer from Appliance Connection on Jan. 14 and they were not delivered until Feb. 3. As the appliances were being installed (by my boyfriend), we discovered there was NO PLUG with the electric dryer! The washer came with a plug but not the electric dryer. When I called to complain on Feb. 4, the AC customer rep told me that I should have ordered a plug for the dryer at the same time. But nothing on the website prompted me to that I needed a plug for the dryer (how come that wasn't the case for the washer?), nor did the customer service rep that I talked to when I placed my order suggest that I order a plug. I guess that it's not common sense that an electric dryer would come with a plug. Now the company is making every excuse in the book for the three week delivery -- a separate trucking company delivers the products, so we can't control delivery. And of course you have to order the plug for the electric dryer... wait for it... unless you pay for their (very expensive) installation service. Take my advice, order your appliances locally from Home Depot, Lowes or another big box store if you want them in a timely manner and with all the parts necessary to install them.
I purchased a BOSCH dishwasher. It is now 5 weeks and the issue is still not resolved. The dishwasher was purchased with an installation package. When the dishwasher was installed it did not work. The installers went away and we were stuck with a non functional dishwasher. It took more than a week to get the company to send a technician to come out. The technician found it to be a bad connection in the junction box... bad installation and wrote a report and left. After another week and numerous phone calls the company sent an email to the installers to finish the installation. It is now more than a week and nobody came to complete the installation. You as the customer is stuck between applianceconnection and their sub contractors. I have purchased the same product from Home Depot at the same price and they will come and install the product in 3 days. I have informed applianceconnection of my decision to get a refund on which their reply was that the product is perfect and installed. Do not waste your time or money. Just search them on BBB.org and you will find the truth.
During delivery of our appliances their "white glove" delivery company caused significant property damage and refused to honor the claim. They broke several whole in the wall and destroyed a brand new hardwood staircase causing damages in excess of $17,000 dollars.
Prepare to wait a week longer than the website tells you for delivery. Then be prepared for it to arrive severely damaged. We now have had to go buy a mini fridge to tide us over while we wait for a replacement fridge to be shipped again. 5 days since we rejected the damaged fridge and still no update on when the new one will be delivered. We will likely go over a month without a real fridge and in the end, ended up spending what we saved purchasing a mini fridge. Just go to a box store. Not worth the savings of buying online.
Sold us a smeg fridge that was broke. Refused to fix it or do anything about it. This is with a warranty, mind you. The warranty people said to wait a few weeks for the issue to resolve itself. Presumably they did this so that it would extend beyond 30 days. Do not buy from these people. My assumption is they sell broken merchandise on the cheap and resell it to people. Total scam.
Found a great price on a dishwasher on the Appliances Connection site. Nine days later they sent an email asking me to call. The ridiculously rude gentleman I talked to said they didn't have the dishwasher in stock and asked if I wanted a different one for $450 more. Bait and switch. He then acted like he was being gracious in cancelling my order without a charge.
This place advertises quick delivery... I had to wait three weeks and when it finally arrived it was damaged! It was three days late of the estimated delivery date. And the panel on the side was bent because it had been smashed. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I purchased a oven that came damaged, I wasnt there when it was delevered. My teenage granddaughter was the only one home, obviously she did not know to open the box and inspect it. When we opened the box we discovered the oven was damaged and worse looked like someone had tried to install it somewhere else. I was told I had to pay 270.00 to send this piece of junk back. Richard was Rude, I advise stay away from this company! We remodeled our kitchen and purchased two appliances from other companies with absolutely no problems. Pass on this company!
My wife and I were excited to get our new Ashley recliners! The trucking company delivered the chairs unassembled. The delivery person asked how do they look and from what we saw we signed off on the chairs. It wasn't until the truck left and we tried to assemble the chairs that we found the wood frame of one was broken. Tried calling the driver to return and see the damage with no luck. Then call the trucking company who said send pictures of the damage which we did. Later to find out from them we had no claim as we had signed off. Appliance Connection agreed even with pictures of the damaged box, chair and the fact the chair was in our house for 5 minutes. We were not entitled to a replacement chair. They offered a 20% discount to keep the broken chair. WOW nothing but thieves! We need to shutdown companies like this who do not stand behind their product and service! Retired and taken advantage of!
I bought multiple appliances from this company - and overall I'm very unhappy. I called in to the company to ask some questions and I realized that this company is clearly not interested in providing customer service. The way the representatives talk, answer questions, and give snappy responses is exactly why you see so many negative reviews about this place. In addition, they never shipped an item from my order. It took me two weeks to resolve after they realized that the freight company even agreed that items were missing.
After shopping around some more, I found a reputable company with the same pricing and exponentially better customer service.
My word of advice, shop somewhere else. The headaches you'll save are worth it over dealing with these people. I'd also suggest reading the numerous number of poor reviews for this company. They paint the exact picture of this place. Horrible!
This company is not about the customer. All they care about is making money. I ordered a bed which came damaged then broke about 2-3 weeks after it was finally delivered( I ordered it in May, didn't receive it until the end of July). I've been going back and forth with this company for over 2 months trying to get the pieces I need and they refuse to cover it under warranty. And *, is rude as hell and needs to be fired. These people keep telling me that I must go through the manufacturer for the warranty and have given me the wrong# to the manufacturer, when I finally did reach the manufacturer, I was told that the warranty is through the DISTRIBUTOR/ APPLIANCES CONNECTION. I informed them of what I was told and they keep telling me that they aren't going to pay for the part that I need replaced, which is a bed rail that will cost $250. I had to tape the wood back to the side rail. I will NEVER shop with this company again. They are SCAMMERS. BUYER BEWARE

Salesperson lied or gave incorrect information to make a $5,000 sale. When a part that was the improper size arrived, I spoke to Calvin in customer service and he ended up getting very nasty and told me that I was making things up and that the salespeople would not tell me what they actually did. They were only slightly cheaper than other places, but after this fiasco, I am spending WAY more by using them vs going to a much more reputable shop. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
The ordering process was a breeze, but the shipping was awful. The website says the love seat was in stock, but in actuality it was at the manufacturer. Had to wait until it was shipped from the manufacturer to their warehouse which took me a month to get it. Customer service was fine but they need a better shipping process and available in stock process.
Update Eric got involved sales manager. Corrected all the issues. They issued a full refund, and coupon for next purchase. I will suggest calling and walking through everything especially if it's your first order with them and you may be new to appliance purchases in general
! BEWARE! This is as bad an on-line retailer that there is on the internet. I don't want to leave an extremely long review however to warn consumers in full that's whats required. In short please consider a local store near you. The sale of items like this especially from unethical retailers may seem easy and simple, true. But wait until you need something, or the item takes months to arrive, or you need to have service on an item. Be ready to spend a huge amount of money and most importantly a huge amount of your time trying to get what you deserve from a 1800 number or email. I recently submitted a claim against this company with the FTC and Consumer Affairs NY State and will attach and edit this review as they become available. Exercise Extreme Caution!
We've purchased three appliances from this company the first two were fine, but the last (a microwave) proved this company is decrepit. The microwave was defective right out of the box. I contacted Bosch support but they couldn't repair it for a month, so I asked AppliancesConnection for an RMA to return it. AppliancesConnection was anything but helpful.
Their reps lied, YELLED AT ME (in writing with all caps), offered to accept the return only to later change their minds, falsely accused me of having damaged the unit, and after I filed a dispute with my credit card company accused me of "fraud" and "theft" all because they don't want to take a defective product back from their customer.
I will never buy anything from this company again. The prices were good, but this company will pour endless energy into not supporting you if there's a problem.
Place an $9.500 kitchen appliance order, and had a delivery day set, 3 weeks after order and payment was confirmed. This was done with the supervision. 4 weeks later the order is still on route, and no one can help me or let me know when the order will arrive.
From the beginning I had bad service. Called in on a Sunday, the telephone operating didn't want to help, and said I should phone the next day and speak to the consultant that helped me on Friday. Monday I called and it took about 20 min to get to a supervisor to complain about the Sunday operator. After apologizing we made a deal and he wanted to expedite my order which i said no to as the kitchen was under construction and would only be ready in 3 weeks times, hence the delivery of the appliance. We agreed on a date, 3 weeks after I paid. I have being postponing the contractor workers until such time the appliance arrive so that they can finish their work.
I have called and wanted to speak to the owner, to which i was told they do not speak to customers. Speaking to another supervisor he said he would come back to me. One week later, I'm still waiting.
It looks like they say what is needed to get the deal and the money in and then you on your own.
I have no idea when my appliance will arrive.
Sold me a defective chair and refused to give me a mailing label so it could be returned. Told me to contact the manufacturer in China. Scammers.
I selected a dryer that had the fastest delivery date. Well the first thing you discover is the "delivery date" on their webpage has absolutely nothing to do with when you will actually receive it as they sub out the shipping to another company (add another week to that delivery date). Then the delivery people are in a huge hurry to install and leave resulting in damage to our walls do to it getting hit by their hand truck. And, the machine arrived without the parts I ordered which means more time contacting the company and waiting for refunds. And there was supposed to have been a rebate of $50 on my purchase that never happened. Overall I would not recommend going this route. Look to your local appliance store to purchase as they often care more about your satisfaction than this big box, uncaring place.
Addendum: Since they use subcontractors for their delivery and they damaged our home during the delivery Appliance Connection files damage claims with these subcontractors (thus AC accepts no responsibility for their subcontractors). In my case, the claim was denied due to (1) the subcontractor did not document that they damaged our home during the delivery (surprise) and (2) it is the home owners responsibility to cover walls and floors with safety materials to prevent the subs from damaging your home. AC offered a gratuitous offer to pay a fraction of the cost... gee thanks!
I bought a Bosch dishwasher with install and removal. It started with the deliverymen who spoken little to no english. First they dumped about 3 gallons of water on my hardwood floor, such so that it was leaking into my basement. Then they gouged the floor. Then I had to drive one of them to the hardware store to buy a part they needed for the install, even though I paid the $30 for the installation kit. To me they did not seem to know what they were doing. This was conformed when the newly installed dishwasher failed to operate. The "installer" went to great lengths to assure me that the unit was just "really quiet". It has been a week of time consuming phone calls all on my end, and false promises, on their end. I would never buy anything from Appliances Connection ever again and neither should you. Be warned, I wish I had come here first.
Answer: The estimated delivery date is fairly accurate when applied to items that are already in stock at our warehouse (please note, this does not apply to items that are listed as Available). Please note, at the end of the day, it is still an estimate it can be subjected to changes, and not a definite timeframe.
Answer: STAY AWAY! We just ordered a $3,000 range from Appliance Connection. The range came damaged. The instructions say to start by removing the door. When the installer did this, the spring in the door bracket popped. First off, when you call you cannot talk to a person to report a defect. You have to use their ticket system. After a month of back and forth with their stupid ticket system, and the agent(s) contradicting themselves, they told us that it is obviously an installation problem, and they weren't going to help. Is this how you treat someone who just spent $3,000 at your store.
Answer: We ship over 1.6 million orders per year. Of those shipments, you have viewed an iota of complaints against our company. Likewise, the positive reviews also outweigh the negative reviews. It seems that you have signed for the delivery without inspecting the delivery, as we have advised you to inspect it prior to accepting delivery. With our agreements with the manufacturers, if there are any issues with the appliances, they would first be subjected to an assessment by a manufacturer certified technician. If the unit is truly, in fact, defective, they will replace the unit. If you are shipping the product back to us, we will provide a refund once confirmation is available that it is en route back to us.
