You better hope you have no issues with your order, if you do, you are screwed because theIr customer service is terrible. First time, last time for me.
I ordered from this company on the second of this month. 18 days later I have no air conditioner and fedex shows the shipment as waiting to receive the shipment from appliances connection. The first customer service guy said that they where supposed to receive the AC in the warehouse, but it didn't arrive so they where waiting. A second guy came on the phone and said that mine was shipped but fedex lost it. They threatened to charge me re-stocking fee when i tried to cancel my order even though they never sent me anything and it was behind scheduled delivery date 18 days later. I got conflicting and very detailed stories on why my product didn't arrive from the two people i talked to. I was threatened with lawyers and everything just trying to get my money back. Dishonest business practices. Avoid at all costs
Bought a washer for a good price, but in the ordering process nowhere did it say they do not offer set up with delivery etc., so going along with the order it was already too late once I realized this. So now over 2 + weeks later im STILL WAITING for my washer do not order from this sight if you want shipping updates and any help with set up or removing the old appliance!
My husband and I order a island for our new house. It was delivered but we never opened the packaging to make sure nothing was Broken. 2 days later we opened the box and soon as we opened it we discovered all the damage that was done to it we connected appliance connection cluster service and they told us they can offer $50 or we have to pay $478 to have it picked up.$50 isn't even enough to fix and charging us $478 to pick it up is Robbery that will leave us with less then $200 for a item wr paid almost $700 for! It's not right! They could have at least refunded me back half my money! Please do not order here because if your product comes in damage they wont do nothing to help! My email is *******@yahoo.com
When I received my refrigerator the back of the unit was damaged near the refrigeration lines. The delivery team said they can take the unit with them or i can keep it, see if it works and potentially get a discount for a damaged item. I had an appliance guy look at it which he confirmed to return the unit. The unit is out of stock currently so there's a 5 week wait window, which is fine but not compensating a customer for delivering a damaged item and now having to wait an additional 5 weeks for a refrigerator is absurd. Ive spoken to management and there answer is "well refund you in full, pick up the damaged item and be done with you." It's the worst customer service ive ever dealt with, being in sales/customer service thats the simplest thing we can do during these times is take care of our customers like they matter.
They took my money for an upright freezer they said was in stock. Day before delivery I am told it never was and the website was wrong. Assured I would get a different one because they were receiving a shipment that money I paid more money to only be told no that one is not coming either! They still have my money. Horrible service no one reach out to me I had to call to get answers.
They sent a $3000 bedroom suite that was broken and marred, but they would not take it back because I had not opened the boxes in front of the delivery drivers. Well, the drivers took off after two minutes of unloading the furniture, so how could I? Then they refused to let me return the furniture until I had been arguing with four different managers for over three weeks. To add injury on top of insult, they charged me almost $500 to take their broken garbage back!
The absolute worst customer service and online experience of my life. BUYER BEWARE. When I purchased the item the website on 4/24/20 it said it would deliver between 4/29/20 - 5/1/20. When I hadn't heard anything about it in 3 days I called and I was told the status would update in 24 hours, it never did. When I called the next day they said it was getting ready to ship the next day 4/29/20 and I would get it in 7-10 days, I said that's not what the website said and when I pointed that out the representative got extremely rude and basically said take it or leave it. At this point I was stuck and I told that to the lady She asked me if I wanted to cancel I said no, I asked to speak to a superior she said she was a supervisor. I said I wanted what the website promised and told them I would be making a complaint about it and hung up. No sooner than I made a complaint online, my order was cancelled. When I called back to ask why the next rep said because I threatened to complain they cancelled my order. Completely unprofessional and and a true testimate on how they view customers and customer service. Their online ordering has inconsistent information, they are rude and I believe trying to defraud the public. Don't waste your time
A dishonest business that will not correct their own error.
We purchased a key plumbing fixture for our bathroom remodel from Appliances Connection after finding it listed on their website. The transaction went through and several weeks went by with no notification of shipping. Finally out of the blue we received an email stating only that they had unilaterally canceled the order with no explanation.
After writing back to find out what happened, they responded that their supplier changed their pricing so they canceled on us.
Any good business will take a drop in margin when they've committed to a sale price.
Only irresponsible and selfish companies would refuse to resolve this in a customer's favor.
We ordered a Monogram microwave and it arrived with it's packaging not in what would seem to be original condition. Protective plastics had been removed and reapplied, Styrofoam inserts were broken, interior plastic bag was rumpled and smashed down into the box and not secured as would be typical for a new product shipping. Really wondering if this microwave was a return that got re-directed to us. Disappointed.
We loved our experience over the phone with this company. We called for information and ended up buying the $4,000+ range we wanted! The invoice appeared promptly in my email inbox, along with information that it would take 24-48 hours to process the order. Unfortunately, once the order was handed off to the delivery company things went downhill. Appliances Connection promised that "A representative from the freight company that is handling the delivery... will normally contact you 1-2 days prior to delivery to schedule a delivery day and time. You will receive a 6 hour window of delivery." We got NONE of that. I got a phone call when the truck was in my driveway! Due to pandemic, my husband and I were both working from home so we dropped everything and frantically moved furniture and cabinets to make room for the range. But both the gas and the electric service were supposed to come FIRST because we'd arranged to have "white glove service"--they would hook up the stove when they brought it. Of course, that didn't happen, either...
Good place to buy the product, HORRIBLE delivery process.
I made an order on March 20th for a freezer and received and email the following day that it was not in stock and would not be in stock until the end of June. I asked to have the order cancelled as June was too long. Their representative told me they had another freezer in stock in the warehouse that they could ship instead within a day or two, so I agreed to that. Today, I called to check the status of the replacement and was told there were none in stock and none expected until the end of April. This is really bad business as I had another freezer available to order that I cancelled from a different business when they said they had a replacement. That freezer is now out of stock as well. What a bunch of lying and/or incompetent people. Would never deal (or try to deal) with them again!
Long story short - ordered appliance; paid; waited and waited for delivery of appliance; then order was cancelled by appliance connection and was told i'd get my refund; waited and waited for refund which i never got; initiated a chargeback with my credit card company - which was when i found out they tried to charge my credit card $10K (luckily declined)... how is this not crooked?
They were supposed to ship a dishwasher March 3 - 5. By March 9th, nothing. I contacted them and they told me it was discontinued, then on March 22 they sent me a message that they were sending out a unit. I explicitly told them they were not authorized to deduct funds from my account and to cancel the order. They canceled the order, but still took money out of my account. When I called Vico said I was correct, but they now need to process a refund. Crooked people, were able to cancel my order, but still took money from my account and now I have to wait for them to refund. Funny how they can take money out right away, but can't seem to get it back in there.
All of my furniture (totalling 6 pices at $3000) came damaged. None of it is useable. Their offer? $550 refund. That is total BS. Next time, I'll pay more and go to Wayfair.
Their website lies. It states the appliances are in stock. It took 2 months to get delivery. They delivered my oven to someone else. Charged me for it. Then delivered a week later. No response to phone calls by them or shipping company. E-mail help line was slow. Delivery company guys look like inmates on work release.
There is no way there are 100,000 positive reviews for this company. My 5-7 day delivery took 2 months. They charged for upstairs delivery and then didn't. One of the dishwashers was damaged but packaging wasn't, so this was something that happened before packaging. I have to pay for the return, which is more than the cost of my dishwasher.
They won't respond to email or phone calls.
The website says "GET 5% BACK ON AN APPLIANCES CONNECTION GIFT CARD****"
I purchased an expensive fridge and have been waiting over 5 months to receive the gift card. When I called yesterday the manager told me to email *******@appliancesconnection.com. It is now 24 hours later and they have not yet answered.
Ordered my appliances on this website. Prices were good, I was able to select my delivery date, but when that date came and went with no word from them I was told that date was just an "estimate" when I asked when I would receive my order, they could not tell me. I am now 4 days past my delivery date, no one can tell me where my appliances are or when they will be delivered. When I call I am put on hold for 20+ min, when I email, no one responds. The website does not have a tracking number that works. I am nervous for my money. Definitely would NOT recommend
Purchased 2 leather power refining sofas from them. They wrote back that they were unable to ship my sofas. I asked why they accepted an order without having stock. They said that manufacturer discontinued the product. You should not accept an order without knowing what is in stock. Charged my credit card and then told me they didn't charge my card. I had to dispute the charges with my bank. Poorly managed company wasted my time. Now I have to find another retailer who can ship what they sell.
Answer: The estimated delivery date is fairly accurate when applied to items that are already in stock at our warehouse (please note, this does not apply to items that are listed as Available). Please note, at the end of the day, it is still an estimate it can be subjected to changes, and not a definite timeframe.
Answer: STAY AWAY! We just ordered a $3,000 range from Appliance Connection. The range came damaged. The instructions say to start by removing the door. When the installer did this, the spring in the door bracket popped. First off, when you call you cannot talk to a person to report a defect. You have to use their ticket system. After a month of back and forth with their stupid ticket system, and the agent(s) contradicting themselves, they told us that it is obviously an installation problem, and they weren't going to help. Is this how you treat someone who just spent $3,000 at your store.
Answer: We ship over 1.6 million orders per year. Of those shipments, you have viewed an iota of complaints against our company. Likewise, the positive reviews also outweigh the negative reviews. It seems that you have signed for the delivery without inspecting the delivery, as we have advised you to inspect it prior to accepting delivery. With our agreements with the manufacturers, if there are any issues with the appliances, they would first be subjected to an assessment by a manufacturer certified technician. If the unit is truly, in fact, defective, they will replace the unit. If you are shipping the product back to us, we will provide a refund once confirmation is available that it is en route back to us.
