The delivery arrived at the allocated time, I was kept informed along the way, which is very helpful.
Instead of waiting in with no real idea of timing, why other delivery people cannot keep us informed in the same way I do not know sometimes hanging around all day or they cannot find the address. This was more like a personal service, try it!
Anyvan are a scam, do not trust their sales team
Anyvan provided the worst removal service I could have imagined.
To anyone looking to use Anyvan, be careful as you will be lied to, let down and then intimated into paying more money for a dreadful service as the removal men refuse to leave your house.
Sadly, a number of our items were damaged too. But don't expect Anyvan customer services to be of any help. Once they have your money, you will get no help from them.
Anyvan are a disgrace of a company.
The good thing about this service is that there is no real 'story' to tell. I found them online when I needed a single large item moved from West Yorkshire to London. I made some enquiries of them via e-mail to which they responded promptly and helpfully. I went ahead and booked the van at a very reasonable rate and in due course received news that the item had been collected and was then contacted by the driver to advise the time of delivery. There was a delay due to the heavy snow on delivery day, but a new time was decided upon and the item was duly delivered without fuss. At all times there was good communication. I am very happy to have solved a difficult and potentially expensive problem simply and cheaply. Thank You.
I had a terrible experience, the driver stood me up and claims that he was there, apparently he arrived early and took some pictures as a proof that I was not in so that they can put all the blame of their incompetence on their customers. Who would do this? Instead of ringing the customer who is waiting, taking pictures and driving off? Trying to get my money back and ask for a reimbursement of other damages that this whole thing has costed me, so far only spoke with a customer service agent who showed no respect whatsoever and made it clear that they will say whatever lie they need not to refund the money. They take your money, they don't do the job, and they refuse to refund. Best of all, they claim they are cheaper! They are not! Out of desperation and with some luck I managed to find an Uber like moving company which costed me less than half of what I paid to AnyVan with a really good service.
My order for transport of a single, but large and very heavy. Item was handled excellently throughout. Booking was made very easy, with - miracle of miracles - a live human voice on the end of a telephone that worked!
On the designated day for pickup/delivery, there was a problem due to sickness of the allocated driver; but this was efficiently and effectively handled by substitution of an alternative delivery van which picked up within a couple of hours and still delivered the same day. Both AnyVan, and the driver (an independent contractor) maintained good communication throughout. The van driver followed directions and found the delivery point without problem and was very helpful in getting this heavy (50 kilo) item into my room on the third floor.

Never EVER again! Unreliable and incompetent are two words I would use to describe Anyvan. My booking today was a disaster! Their customer service makes false agreements, they got their call sheet wrong, so the driver was calling the drop-off number about the pick-up timings/details, and even the booking process was stressful and frustrating.
This isn't the first time I've had issues with Anyvan. I used them for a job in August 2017 and it was SO difficult and their were issues with the entire booking and execution. I ended up paying extra and using Addison Lee's service and it ran so smoothly.
The only reason I decided to give them another try was because it was quite a bit cheaper, but NEVER again! I've learned my lesson.
My advice is to pay extra for a more reliable, trustworthy service.
As they entered the house our documents purse disappeared! They exactly knew were was it but we never found them again, spent £2000 to replace them all, absolutely unprofessional stuff. They also came the wrong time so Not recommended at all!
Had a great experience with Anyvan overall. I made some calls to their customer service team because I needed to do two stops in my move and the representative was extremely friendly and helpful. Such great value for the items I needed to move to.

Having paid anyvan over £1,000, I'm now having to pay a second firm to move my belongings, delay my move and pay extra rent as a result; and organise all of this over a distance of 230 miles. Alarm bells began ringing when they cancelled my booking despite the funds leaving my account, but when they turned up in a LWB van, and not a Luton, my heart sank and my moving nightmare began. Only half of my move happened, items were damage in the process, and I was ill advised by their representatives and had to change the day of delivery twice. Their call centre is based in South Africa and therefore had no grasp of my predicament or any solutions to offer at the time. All I wanted for the £1,000 was a big enough van and movers who respect other people's property.
Hi all, Anyvan does not vouch for the character of their drivers and the insurance these driver parade are not checked. Also if any of your items breaks or go missing you are on your own.
A driver called Conrad Meades did a job for me on August 17th, 2020 after which a suitcase and some items in it went missing. Over two months I have tried dealing with the driver and Anyvan with both not wanting to responsibility.
Cancelled at the last minute, didn't call me to tell me what was happening and had a phone line (which I called 10 times) that would put you on hold for three minutes than hang up. I had to scramble at the last minute to fix their mess, which involved spending a lot more money and cancelling all of my evening plans. As compensation, all that they offered was a refund (which I was obviously entitled to in any event). Would not recommend.
The two guys who came to do our removal did an excellent job. They turned up on time and we were able to track their progress before arrival.
They were very pleasant and were careful with our items of furniture, they were well organised and knew what they were doing and were both quick and efficient.
I have no hesitation in recommending them and would gladly use this service again.
Booked any van to move 8 pieces of furniture. Mainly bedroom, but 2 heavy dining room pieces. Good Communications. Arrived on time. Extremely Careful. Taking time to load. They drove a mile to the address to unload. Unloaded very carefully & placed furniture exactly where I wanted. Taking several pieces of furniture upstairs.

They say moving house is one of the most stressful times of your life, so I was glad to have this for moving day. The tracking function was particularly useful to allow us to rest/be ready at each side

Last time anyvan movers can able to deliver 3.1 Cubic size goods to my property at first floor but this time i booked the household items from the same property with size of 2.1 cubic but this time they unable to pick and expected to customer to provide the parking entrance arch size to decide what kind of van for transport but as a customer i knew that my items occupies only 2.1 Cubic.
Even customer provides other option to park to Anyvan driver, but driver speaks so harass and threaten you for extra money
Even description of all household goods mentioned clearly on booking quotation, Anyvan driver mentioned like we got list as mattress and box. Very poor coordination between company and their van drivers... I never again use or suggest to anyone... very very poor service...
The second time I used their services my wardrobe was damaged beyond repair plus one piece was missing. Anyvan denied everything after I formally complained. The ombudsman man can not look into it because Anyvan is not a member. I can not take the case to court as under their terms and conditions they clarified that the contract is between the trader and me and Anyvan is not responsible for lost or damaged property. I couldn't take the van and men to court because due to data protection Anyvan won't provide information on them after the job was completed. Despite paying by card the bank won't help either. Please avoid this company.
