AnyVan

I booked two men and a van to move some very heavy furniture, but one of them was too unfit and lazy to carry it. I ended up helping the other chap carry it all myself.

Customer services have refused to refund me the extra I paid for two men, offering me an inadequate £40 goodwill gesture instead, which I refused. When I threatened to seek legal advice I was smugly told "you'll never manage to prove it", which just about sums up how much this company cares about their customers.

This was the first time I had used anyvan and it will be my last. Although I booked through them, they appear to contract the work out to other company's. That's fine except on this occasion my LED TV was damaged during transit and Any van refused to pay. Citing that there was no evidence that the television was damaged by the driver. Very poor customer service, very poor company. Better off going to a proper removal firm. It may be more expensive, but at least there professional

Had help from Dumitru moving a lot of items from one flat to another. He was really helpful moving and lifting things and took great care with the more fragile items. Would definitely use AnyVan again were I to move based on this experience.

The guys who came were so helpful. Really friendly and professional. They arrived on time, all our belongings were packed & transported with out a hitch and everything arrived at the new location in perfect condition. The price was very reasonable and the service brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I needed a number of bulky items moving into storage. I received a phone call from the driver when 40 mins away which was helpful and the track my driver online worked too. They were careful when stacking everything into their van and again at the other end unloaded carefully and got everything neatly stacked into the storage unit no problem. The driver and helper were very polite and friendly. I was pleased and will be using again when I need the items back out of storage.

Easy to book online; choice of van sizes and driver or driver plus mate. We had a very helpful and efficient two man crew. Hiring a manned vehicle is more expensive than self-drive, but not that much. However, saving the time in not having to pick up and return the van, plus not having to lift and carry makes it well worthwhile. Anyvan provide an excellent service at competitive rates.

Lot of damage to furniture and lost items. Damage to wardrobes (external scratches), bed (scratches), chest of draws and mattress (torn in 4 places). Customer service informed me of assembly charges 2 days before the move date, so I cannot even change provider. Drivers did not protect any of the furniture, not even the mattress or mirrors. They also lost 4 screws so I had to go to IKEA and get them! Do not use Anyvan!

I needed to get my daughters belongings back to the UK from the flat she shared in Holland with her ex in difficult circumstances & at very short notice. The whole process, from start to finish was impeccable. I was guided through the quote on the phone and was emailed almost immediately with details of the driver (James) and was kept informed throughout, despite the fact it was Christmas. The pickup went like a dream and was exactly at the time promised as was the drop off. James is a real gentleman.
I have no hesitation in recommending anyvan and would use them again.

This company will extort its customers of their last penny. The so called "customer service" is hopelessly hostile and uncooperative. Profit is at the top of its priorities list, and the customer is right at the bottom. I'm writing this after a terrible experience of moving a coffee table, when the AnyVan customer service rep. Not only showed any willingness to assist when I tried to reschedule, she said, "I will not show you any goodwill!"
Stay away from AnyVan. There are other courier services with better attitude to customers.

The customer service team was always so helpful on the phone. I would suggest measuring all your items correctly to ensure you have booked enough space. The delivery team was amazing! It was a full long day for them with a 200 mile move of a 4 bed house and everything went smoothly and nothing got damaged! Amazing job and well worth the money for less stress! Well done.

An impressive end-to-end service from a friendly, engaging and efficient team, both when booking and in the delivery of the moving service in particular. Timely, organised and helpful. Highly recommended. I will certainly use them again... good on cost too. I was quoted over twice as much from another company.

This is my second time using the AnyVan service and I must say I am extremely pleased. I could easily get the quotes of different moving services and could easily communicate with them seamlessly through the website. The fact I could also see how many jobs each person and their ratings were, helped to put my mind at ease. The down payment function was also great as it gave me enough time to secure the job and gather the funds for the actual move, rather than have a big chunk of money taken. On the actual day, Chris and his team came on time and were polite. I received my items undamaged the next day. I will definitely recommend the AnyVan site to my friends and family and definitely will recommend Chris who moved me from Manchester to London for the stellar price of £180. These days as a 25 yr old living in this economy a great service at an even greater price is a God send!
