They sent the the right ottoman with the wrong legs. When I reached out I was told sorry, what you ordered is all we have, it doesn't come with any other legs. When I asked why I was not contacted to be given the option of canceling or accepting they had no answer. I explained I had spent of $800 on something I did not order. Just kept apologizing. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was told no one was available however, I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. This was over week ago. Do not purchase anything from this company. Not one ounce of professionalism or integrity.

Internet company that doesn't take credit cards plus customer service can't say why.
Lost phone connections twice after almost getting multiple instructions to pay another way (still confused?) but no call back. No supervisors available.
Don't waste your time with Selke

Purchased gorgeous washable runner. Washed exactly as instructed. Binding shredded. Contacted company and they said this was "outside of their policy". So no replacement. They offered me a "one time courtesy discount of 20% on another purchase. Even though the entire site is 20% off today so that was absurd. As well as why would I buy more junk when the one I bought was so poorly made it could not hold up to one wash? Terrible company to sell junk and walk away. Don't waste your money on this stuff.

Wished I had read reviews before dealing with is co. Needed to return an item and having never dealt with this co. Was unsure of how. Called the service rep. Was treated disrespectfully. They are rude and condescending. Given multiple answers-all untrue. They may have nice products but not worth dealing with their acrimonious behavior

Wow, this is one of those cases where I'm so glad I read all the reviews. I was just seconds away from inputting my credit card info for a purchase, but now I've changed my mind. "Annie" your product photos of bedding are impressive, but we all know photos can be deceiving. I don't know who you are and had never heard of your "company" before but you clearly have serious problems with the way you do business and treat customers. No way am I purchasing from you. With your online reputation you surely won't be in business long

Rude representatives on the phone! 3 mistakes on my orders within 2 months, sending wrong item and incorrect color! Today I was credited for 1 item when I returned 2 items! I think the representative wanted me to prove I returned two! LOL. How would I be able to do that? It's,time to shop else where! They say there calls are recorded, I doubt it. I received a special 25% discount and when I tried to use it it was invalid… CRAZY

I tried to order a pillow and blanket in the New Frances Valentine collection after receiving their new catalogue. On the back it says there is a 15% "Happy Shopping" discount but when I placed the order it did not accept the discount so I called. A very rude customer service person sent me an email with all of their exemptions, which are most of the items in the catalogue! She said a manager would call me but no one ever tried. So I tried to order this week and now the pillow is out of stock. I tried customer service again and guess what? You leave your number ( I stayed on the line for awhile and gave up) but so far, hours later no call back.

My experience is that they indeed have terrible customer service and don't honor their offered discount which is a dishonest "lead in" to get you to buy! This was once upon a time "illegal" but with e commerce and no oversight I guess the company can get away with this. So disappointing and frustrating, not to mention a waste of time!

I purchased a large rug and after 6 months the binding frayed. It was my problem not theirs and they offered no help at all. They were really not very nice about it. Buy from Serena and Lily not this awful company.

Ordering on Annie Selke is in every way possible the single worst on-line shopping experience I have ever had. You sign up for emails but never get the promised promo code. Navigating the site is agonizingly slow. And just try to return something! Even in within your account/orders once you click on the Initiate a Return link you're told they can't find your order #. Then you get to call, wait while listening to Annie Selke (herself!) drone on and on about how much they "care" and finally speak to a representative who literally does not speak or understand English. Then you get to call over and over again with the same result - nothing. I will NEVER order from them again and neither should anyone else. You can get all their brands on other sites, Wayfair being the best of them.
Lastly, they use completely false advertising in their email ads - see attached. There is not a "20% off sitewide" anywhere on their site.

I purchased something and it is totally different than the pictures and description and now I cannot use it. When you call customer service, all you get is a voice mail where they will call you back in two days and no live person. A day after leaving a message, a representative called me and told me that the item was not returnable. No return number to call, no live person to talk to. They clearly do not care about customer service. I will never order from them again.

I chose to use my own shipping to return a $445 rug. I went to UPS was told it would cost $99 to ship. Took the rug home, called Annie Selke to ask how much they would deduct from my return if I used their shipping label. The rudest woman told me she didn't know and hung up on me. I would never buy anything from Annie Selke again. First and last time.

I ordered from Annie Selke around 6 weeks ago. They ship less than half of my order last week and now are saying they delivered both items while they didn't. The rug I ordered is huge and it would never fit in the box they sent me. They also promised to give me a 20 percent credit because it was cheaper on Memorial Day and they didn't, even after they stated that on their email. I sent multiple emails and they don't respond my specific questions, and insist that the rug arrived even if it would never fit in the box they sent me. THEY ARE FRAUDULENT, watch out. I will complain with my credit card company and go to the consumer protection agency. A 6x9 indoor outdoor rug would never fit in the box they sent me!

First of all, I wrote to them bc I was unhappy that they were selling fur, and their response was that it was a mistake. I guess they think consumers are stupid.

Further to the above, I placed an order with them for a rug. They sent me the wrong rug TWICE. So, twice, I had to wrap the rug back up and drag it outside to be picked up. The CS person I dealt with was unbelievably stupid. I had to repeat myself often, and she was nonresponsive to emails. I finally had to contact my bank and the consumer protection agency to get my money back after 10 weeks.

Their response to the consumer complaint was rife with lies.

Very, very dishonest.

Worst Customer Service I Have Ever Experienced.
January 15, 2022

I had my eye on a duvet cover and shams from Annie Selke for months. Waited till their Black Friday sale to order it at 20% off since the cover was so expensive had more than $600. When I received it, I realized the color was wrong. I called to do an even exchange for a different color. Was told they don't do exchanges. I would have to return the set and order a new one, but then I lost the discount from my Black Friday order and had to pay full price. Bummer, but whatever.

I returned the original set and the tracking number shows it was received back at their warehouse December 17. It is now January 15 and I still don't have my refund of the over $600 that is owed to me.

I have called several times to inquire about my refund, and each response has been ruder than the last. I was told to allow three weeks for the refund to be processed. When three weeks have passed, I called again and I was told I would just have to wait like everyone else, they are busy because of the holidays.

Last week, I was sent a copy of a credit memo showing that my refund was processed, but the refund has not yet been made back to my credit card.

I am the owner of an e-commerce company, and I would be horrified if anyone on our customer care team treated a customer this way. If it takes a company a month to process a refund, there is a problem with your business.

Wish I had read the reviews for this company before I placed my order. Oh, and did I mention how overpriced the items I ordered were? Made in India. Nice enough, but nothing extraordinary justifying a price of over $600.

I must agree with the other reviewers who said this is a dishonest an unethical company. Stay away!
