I saw another review here that had the same issue I had with Amoma booking site. I booked a room for a certain date and after filling out my credit card info, i got a pop up that said that someone already took the final room at that price. So I made another booking for another room and this time entered my credit card info and hit send. But then when I got my confirmation email, I noticed that the dates were wrong - it read APRIL 9 - 10. But I previously put in May 11-12. I called them immediately and tried to explain the situation, but they explained that since my room rate was non-refundable or changeable, there was nothing they could do. I really don't know how the dates were changed and I'm willing to accept the fault for not double checking, but I'm quite positive that the dates were correct before I hit send the second time. But I can't prove it. I knew how ridiculous it would sound for me to say that their system changed my dates, so I told them that I don't know how the dates were changed, but I was willing to accept the mistake. They told me that they had to call their supplier and it depended on them. I was promised an email or call back within 3 days. But didn't hear from them. So I called 4 times over the course of 5 days but they claimed that the supplier was not responding to them. Finally 1 week later, I called again and the agent called me back to say that the supplier said nothing could be done because the supplier said that the hotel would not budge on the dates. I then called Amoma again and asked to speak with another person in the modifications department. He told me that if I could get the hotel manger to accept the changes, he would be more than willing to call them and make the changes. So I called the hotel manager and she said that would change it but she needed the hotel booking site to call her and confirm the changes. So I called Amoma back and a lady named Akemi answered. She was very confrontational in her approach and unpleasant to speak with. When I told her that the hotel manager told me that she didn't receive a call regarding my situation from the supplier, she challenged the validity of that claim. I wanted to express my frustration why it was so difficult to make this happen when the hotel was willing? It took me only 1 hour to verify with the hotel that this was possible, but why did it take them a week to respond to me saying that it was not possible? I was then given an email the following day that stated again, there was nothing they could do. I really don't trust that their "suppliers" actually called the hotel.
Ultimately, I understand that I'm responsible for failing to make proper notes and screen shots of my dates when making my reservation, but I find it odd that another person had the same issue I had with the exact wrong dates when processing! Yes, their rates are better than any other company out there, but they are absolutely terrible in customer service and follow through.

Where do I begin? One star is too much first of all! First they hook you because they will offer a very cheap price on a hotel. Almost too good. You get your confirmations and vouchers where I booked hotel to stay in New Orleans one night before a cruise and was reserved 4 months in advance. A week before my trip my gut said call hotel to verify reservation for 2 rooms 7 people. They had no record of this reservation. Contacted Amoma and was assured it would be taken care of. The next day called back (waiting over an hour on hold each time) They said they would call hotel. So I called hotel to check and they said Amoma called and was a sketchy call they said. Gave my name and customer service reps name but wouldn't say what company they worked for. Best Western told me to get out of that and get my money back was best thing because that seemed like a scam. They didn't have any room bedding size left after 4 months to accommodate my 7 folks. So I had tried to chat with customer service at Amoma once but that went no where. After that apparently they took away my chat option when I logged in and couldn't reach them. Called customer service (another hour and 10 minutes on hold) and she said she is customer service she needed to transfer me over to the department handling my case so no one ever picked up in that department just a bunch of music playing. They are based in Europe they had told me and obviously not equipped to deal with customers or the hotels in the United States. The Best Western in New Orleans never even heard of this company. They said if it was Expedia or Hotels.com come or Travelocity and such he wouldn't had such an issue dealing with them at all. On one of my calls I had asked they find me another hotel since they already had my money and that's when they tried to transfer me to a line where no one picked up. I cancelled my reservation and now their policy says they keep $60 of it and if I had cancelled after tomorrow July 8 for my 7/15/17 reservation I would have lost the whole amount. I sent them an email letting know that because of their mistake I should be able to cancel without any penalty and get the entire amount back but have yet to get a return phone call or email me. My booking number was *******. Please book with a more reputable company and don't make the mistake I did. Avoid this company!

Booked a hotel via this website. We chose the hotel because it was just around the corner from a conference I was attending, we had staid there before, and it had a spa for relaxing in after the conference. We turned up and they told us that the hotel was full and they would have to send us to an alternative hotel. Whilst we were waiting for a taxi to take us to the other hotel there were three other groups who turned up and were given rooms, despite arriving after us. When we queried this we were told that rooms are 'pre-allocated' rather than on a first come, first served basis. They refused to tell us how they decided to issue the 'pre-allocated' rooms too, however I can only conclude that it was because we booked via Amoma that we were deemed less priority than the people who had booked with the hotel direct hence why we were being shipped out when other people were arriving after us and being given a room. We were eventually sent to another hotel that was no where near the conference centre and with no spa facilities. We were booked to stay for four nights, but checked out after two nights because of this however Amoma refused to refund our last two nights. No other forms of compensation were offered. I am utterly appalled at the service from Amoma and would NEVER consider using them again.
Update following their response: they have responded under my review to say they are trying to get a refund for us. The hotel said that as far as they were concerned the rate was refundable and we should be able to get it back - that is not what Amoma are saying. They have also said that they are trying, when we have already had an email from them saying that we definitely would not get a refund. We had two separate bookings because we needed to extend the stay and we were told just to book a separate reservation and the two would be linked. We accepted the other hotel they put us to because we had no choice - it was 11pm at night and we were in a foreign city. What else were we going to do? Sleep rough? Utter disgrace and despite their mealy mouthed attempt at justification I would NEVER do business with them again and I would strongly urge anyone considering booking with this company to consider what happened to us. By reading the other reviews it appears that this company have no consideration for their customers what so ever.

As this was the first time I booked with Amoma, I was a little worried if it was real, until I showed up at the Hotel and they had my booking.
Reservation process was quick and easy, and AMOMA had the best price around. Had not heard of AMOMA before, but I will use them in the future.
