I got the dome lights and after looking at the install video decided to try installing. The install showed a lady pulling the map light case away from the ceiling. I tried it and could not force the case away for fear of breaking something. I then tried pulling off the light cover and pushing the diode in the socket. No luck. I don't think Houdini was double jointed enough to get enough force to push the diode into the socket. Maybe someone could assure me that the map light case will not break if I yank it out of my overhead ceiling.
I thought it was a NTK racing MAP sensor when the MAP sensor arrived it was a Crown part for a Jeep. My 2012 Challenger doesn't seem to notice but NTK racing is just not Crown Jeep. I really didn't want an obedient Dad's part for my ride.

The product I bought was at a discount for the time being, and I decided to buy it. It was simple to get, when the box finally came I was excited to finally replace my beaten up rear taillights. Although I wish that they had a video of how to unhook the harness light from the taillights but I figured it out watching some YouTube videos. I'm sorry to hear about the installation issues! I tried to call and left a detailed voicemail, but wanted to reach out here as well. Although we don't have licensed mechanics on the phone, I wanted to find out everything I could to help with the install. The lens covering the light should pop out with a pick (I got a set of picks locally at Harbor Freight but most auto stores will carry them). Once the clear lens cover is out, the old bulbs can be removed and switched for the new ones. Then the lens cover should pop right back in.
After more research, I found the manufacturer, Diode Dynamics, has a troubleshooting support phone number- they may have more information on how to install. Their phone number is 314-205-3033 (Monday-Friday, 10-5 CST). I also found 3 local shops that if you need may be able to install for you:
