A friend was attempting to buy a book I had written and which was supposedly available on Amazon. Weeks went by with no contact and then the friend received an email saying that the book was unavailable and might never be available again. I contacted my publisher who said as far as they knew, the book was available on Amazon, or was supposed to be anyway... go figure. Also I received two sets of something I ordered and weeks later still haven't some things... very frustrating

Amazon has everthing you could possibly want from A to Z. That is no joke. If you would log on to the site just put in and item watch and see they do carry it. My husband and I ordered blue tooth speakers they were delivered in a timely manner. Not broken all intact. Mines worked perfectly but my husband had some problems with his he contacted amazon they handled his inqury with first rate service. They offered him the same item or would he like a refund. I would like to say that I would recommend ordering from them. They have great stuff.

I received a Kindle fire as a Christmas present. It was not charging properly. I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent out a replacement and the necessary paperwork to return the damaged Kindle. The contact person was pleasant, thorough and helpful. It was easy, painless, and quick. I love my Kindle Fire. I order a lot of books and music through this company and am never disappointed. They want to make sure your order is delivered promptly in excellent condition. They certainly have earned my customer loyalty!
I have been dealing with Amazon Prime for about a year now. They have never let me down. Often my prime order arrives ahead of the 2 day advertised free shipping. I am not sure how they do it, but whatever the case, keep it up! I have returned 1 item in that time because I didn't like it. No questions asked. Once in a while Prime items may be slightly more expensive but I feel it is worth the little extra for peace of mind.

Answer: This problem began when Amazon Market Place started up and when I saw how bad it was with sellers selling at 3 to 4 times the full retail price at other online stores, it was a hint for me to stop supporting Amazon Market Place. If its sold by Amazon, I might buy it but I do my utmost to find a lower price so I don't have to buy it from Amazon. More often than not Bestbuy or Staples has it for the same or lower price. Bought an Asus RT AC 5300 from Bestbuy for 500 Canadian and it doesn't sell for less at Amazon. Returns are no hassle 30 day returns and no shipping just take it to a local retail store and that saves the wrapping and shipping.
